This review was for a visit in March 2024, so your experience may be different if you came in the summer. This fruit stand is in a nice location, surrounded by orange trees. There are also picnic tables and corn hole games. However, during our visit, the selection was very sparse. There were oranges, 1/4 basket of tomatoes, 4 cucumbers, and a handful of avocados. There were also a few packages of dried fruits and nuts. The guy working there didn't speak English, but he was really nice and friendly. He gave us some oranges to try and they were sweet and delicious. The tomatoes we bought from there were delicious as well. It had that homegrown taste and was very flavorful. read more

Have been coming to the fruit stand since the 80s. It is now a tradition. The family that runs it are down home, sweet people, sharing the fruits of their labor at very fair prices. The juiciest and sweetest peaches in existence. Feeling very worried that the stand will fall to the wayside like all the businesses did when route 66 was eliminated as a main route. Please go by and support our farms! They are just a short hop off the new 180, literally a blip to get to them. Buy a peach and wash in the washing well. 1000 degrees in the Central Valley and this little cash-only fruit stand is a little slice of heaven. A dozen different types of plums, peaches, pluots, nectarines, and the best dried fruit I've had to date. If you're going to or coming back from a day at Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park, this is a must stop. Great selection of the most perfect fruit and after you buy there's an adorable working well with clean water hose and colander that you can use to wash all your fruit and eat on the spot or take with you. We stopped here after a little trip to a white peach orchard. We wanted to see if they had some nectarines. This fruit stand is located at a busy traffic corner. Highway 180/Kings Canyon Road which runs into Reed Avenue does not stop. Then you have the 180 hwy that turns east into the foothills. The fruit stand has some good shade around the stand. They also have a washing well next to the fruit stand if you need to wash your hand or wash your fruits that you've just purchase. There is also a bench for you to enjoy your fruit and watch as the traffic goes by. The stand has a good variety of fruits. However, be ready to pay higher than what you would pay at your local grocery store. There is plenty of parking around the whole fruit stand. The vendors are nice and friendly. read more

Love being able to get fresh fruit in the summer at a decent price. We come here often and the fruit is always good and fresh and the staff is super friendly! My only complaint is many of the peaches and nectarines I saw we split pits which most consumers wouldn't recognize until they get home and see the inside of the center pit is bad. The fruit itself is usually ok, but just as a consumer not something I want to see. Overall great place, good fruit and good price. read more

Still open! We bought 5 nectarines, 5 apricots, 5 plums, a bag of cherries, tomatoes and zucchini! Good price at about $21 bucks for all of it! My toddler enjoyed rinsing from an apricot in their washing well and eating it right there. :) read more

I literally went the next day and got better produce from Walmart. Apples were really mealy, strawberries were from San Diego and almost all white inside (picked too early; NOT ripe!). I threw all the apples away. What a waste! read more

We go all summer for their nectarines, peaches, plums and tomatoes. We love to sit at their picnic table in the shade on a hot summer day and eat the freshest fruit around. Great service and prices. read more

Always great fruit here. Sometimes it need a few days to ripen sometimes it doesnt but the quality is always the same. The price beats grocery store prices and most farmer market prices. Lots of shade if you want to enjoy a piece of fruit after using their washing well. Staff is always friendly and they take cards for payment. read more

Prices aren't bad. Very true sometime stuff is ripe and ready to be eaten and some stuff needs a few days. Best fresh fruit that is too ripe for shipment or too large for market. Well worth the short drive.

First time I went there the fruit I bought plums were excellent. They next time I went I was very disappointed as I bought a bunch of fruit and they were hard and never ripened in spite of leaving them for a few days. Threw them all away as I couldn't eat them. I think they are kept in a fridge then taken out in the morning to sell then put back in the fridge after closing time.Do not recommend buying their fruit! read more
