Very simply: just DON'T GO THERE! Unless you like getting your hair totally screwed, obviously. First of all, too many different people work on the same person: they get confused because they're following so many at the same time. I had a consultation with the one who was supposed to take care of me first: I told him I had damaged hair, so I asked if it was possible to dye it anyway, and he said it was. Then i told him exactly what he was NOT to do, namely layering, as I really hate it: I just wanted a little trim, especially on the damaged bits. He left me with someone else doing the colour, which turned out to be too aggressive and my hair got even more damaged. He then went on on working on other costumers. By the time my hair was ready to be cut, he had clearly forgotten what I wanted. He started cutting like crazy, doing so many layers. Now, the thing is that I have a lot of hair, with a lot of volume: so, if you start layering it from above the ears, it will all go up, making me look like some sort of mushroom. He basically left me with a huge bunch of hair on the top and nothing at the sides and very ridiculous bits of hair on the back. Everything else was gone. Then, when blowdrying it, he put a lot of stuff on my hair, so that for that day it would stay down and straight (even though already horrible). When I started doing it at home, I realised the size of the disaster: i basically had very short and damaged hair, with ridiculous wavy bits on the back. It was making me cry every time I was trying to style my hair in the morning. I resisted for about 10 days, with my hair always tied up with loads of bobby pins (ridiculous indeed), then I went to a different hairdresser and had to pay an awful amount of money for a repairing treatment that would prevent my hair from falling off (yes, it was that bad!) and loads of extensions (natural ones and with keratine, which doesn't damage hair, as it's naturally in it), just to be able to go out of my house and avoid feeling ashamed all the time. So, this is definitely a HUGE NO! If you love your hair, avoid them like the plague! read more
