I always ask for a hand wax. It lasts longer. Last time an employee was using a buffer. When I questioned him, he said it was part of the process for the new wax they're using. When the wax needed to be done again, I noticed buffer marks all over the black plastic trim. I brought this up to the owner/manager, and he said he'd clean it for $30. I told him I wasn't going to pay for them to fix something they did. He asked how was he supposed to know they did it. The man has done several waxes for me in the past years, and he didn't remember me. He asked me to leave the property in not so nice words. I left and will never go back. I returned to this car wash after a long absence, remembering how good it once was. One of my wheels came out looking as if it had been acid washed, the exterior coating was discolored badly, the entire surface was roughed up. When I showed the manager, she told me it must have been that way when I came in. No way I can prove otherwise, but I know it was in the same condition as the other three wheels when I came in. I think whatever cleaning solvent was sprayed on this wheel was not rinsed off and had a corrosive action on the finish. Anyone else had a similar experience? Never returning. read more

This is now Blue JAY Car Wash. We drive in and two guys are sitting on the bench - no customers. One guy gets up off the bench and comes over. I say I'd like full service inside and out. He says " We can't do interiors. We only have two people here today." I say, "Wait a sec....there's two of you just sitting on the bench. Why can't you do the interior?" He says, "We don't have enough workers." I said, "There's no other customers here. Why can't you guys vacuum and clean my interior?" He goes back to join his friend on the bench. What happened, this car wash used to be so good? I loved going there, though the prices seemed a little steep, my car was always spotless when they were done, not this time. My back window is a smudgy mess, there is still debris on the driver side floor( doesn't even looked like they vacuumed) and there are still crumbs on the seat. I have been an Englewood resident & coming to Blue Dolphin for 13 years. Today was probably my last stop. I pulled up and was greeted by a very nasty blonde, apparently her name is Ashley, who is screaming at customers to "PICK A LANE", and yelling "PULL UP". Very rude & no way to speak to customers. Seemingly unhappy with her job/life, or something else. No filter on this young lady, no respect for customers, so perhaps she should work in the back away from people. She could bring the business way down. I didn't stay today, with treatment like that, I decided to have my car washed elsewhere. Not planning to come back. This experience left a very sour taste in my mouth. I ended up at Englewood car wash, a few miles north on 776, and was treated respectfully and they did a great job. read more

So disappointed. My car needed a good cleaning so I purchased the works plus rain x and silicone. What a waste of $40. My car is just as filthy as when I brought it in. Sand and dust still all over my interior. My windows have marks on them from when I washed my own windows with my windshield washer fluid. I wish I would have read the reviews before I had my car washed here. If you want a good wash and dry, don't go here. They say they're short-handed so they don't provide all the services they advertise. What's up with that? I can see maybe a day or two but this is the third time I could not get a complete service. This was my last visit. What really ticked me off was they did not wipe the carbon dust off my wheels. I had to do it when I got home. I just left there after paying 48.10 to get my pickup "super cleaned" and all they did was super clean out my wallet. I had to tell them what to clean as if they were blind. Took my car in for the works and absolutely nothing was done to the interior whatsoever, spots still all over my black leather seats which would have been very obvious to notice so theres no reason it shouldn't have been done. As well as crumbs and dust left absolutely everywhere. I don't think they even touched the interior of my car. The outside had spots and areas where it clearly wasn't even washed. They charged $140 to detail my BMW. Let me start by saying the car went on looking better than it came out. They did a terrible job. Seats look even dirtier than before. I am able to rub with my finger some black gunk off around the seat belt bracket I don't recall being there before. I dropped my mother off to pick up the car and there is no great way to park so I just pulled in and there was several of the employees raising their hands in the air, yelling and calling me names. I've used Blue Dolphin in the past and have always been satisfied and occasionally delighted with the results. However, today was extremely disappointing, not for the car wash but because no one in the establishment wears a mask! At this car wash, numerous employees get in the car to vacuum, clean windows, drive to the conveyor, drive to the exit, etc all the while breathing in their customers' cars without masks! What the hell is this business owner thinking? If the owner doesn't have the intellectual capacity to understand the basic science of virus transmission and doesn't care if the employees are exposed, get sick, and possibly die I guess that's his/her business. But to expose customers to the same cavalier attitude show's a stunning lack of business acumen. i.e., needlessly risking customers' lives is never a sound business strategy. Apparently for the same illogical reasons as not requiring employee masks, there is no attempt at contact tracing so if one of the employees becomes infected I guess its ok with this owner that any recent customers can get sick and possibly die too. I did not appreciate this situation quickly enough to leave this time, but it's a safe bet I won't be back. 400,000 dead and counting! read more

Went there 2 days before Christmas and ordered there "The Works" wash. I wanted a good wash, because I was about to trade my vehicle in. A clean car could potentially bring in more money. Needless to say, they did a terrible job. There was dirt on my windows and on my mirrors. They didn't vacuum at all. I complained to one of the workers and they touched up a few spots and that was all. It was still visibly dirt. I had already wasted 30 minutes of my time, so I said screw it and left. this last visit was awful. first of all, i upgraded what i usually do and requested the armorall treatment for the inside and tires. well guess i got the person with the short arms, the dash was not done any further than someone could reach without making a bit of an effort to get into the car and reach, i repeat, reach. then to top it off the outside was full of waterspots. when i complained, i was told it was my well water, we have street water. there was no attempt to try to rectify the problems and i was basically told it was my issue not theirs. i went to the auto parts store to get a spray on mist to clean up the mess blue dolphin had left and the employee at the store made it clear that it was probably their "recycled" water that caused the problem. i will not be going back and will make sure to let my community know that blue dolphin is not the best choice for a car wash. i will head on down the road for better customer service. and, today i noticed that the vacuuming was a bit amiss too, there was a lot of stuff left under the mats and the mats were not replaced properly. no pride on the part of the employees. the owner better take care to retrain these people, they dont give a rat's butt about how they do their work. read more

Do not go here. They are not afraid to charge but do not earn it. I went here to have my vehicle vacuumed and cleaned inside. The charge was $15.00 and I went inside to pay by the time I paid and went into the viewing window my vehicle was already coming into the wash. I am thinking how much cleaning could they have done in that span of time. Well after they dried it they said your ready. I got in the car and first noticed the drivers side floor was still as dirty as when it went in. The wheels were still dirty so I called to complain. I was told that if I wanted the wheels cleaned it would cost $4.00 more. I guess they don't consider the wheels part of your vehicle. Plus my seat had been pushed all the way to the rear and the AC blower was turned to high like someone was using it to cool of durning the cleaning. This is just a terrible place. read more

Bottom line, my car was clean and presentable. I expect more from the customer service side of this carwash. I was met by a female attendant and I told her this is my first time using this car wash. She helped me thru the menu of options, up sales, and soon she was cleaning the inside of my car while I went inside to settle up. At the counter I met a lady who quickly took my cash without a smile or even a hello. After I paid I was given a paint stick, when I asked what it was for, I was told "That's your car check". I went outside to receive my car, it was really clean inside and out. I was signaled b an attendant, an older gentleman, who I gave my paint stick to. He was by far the friendly one out of the group as he said thank you, have a nice day, and Happy Thanks Giving. Went to this car wash this morning. They did an excellent job on my car....really looked good when they got done. Fast and efficient. Nice range of prices for services and yeah they do try to up sell but not arm twisting so all you have to do is say no and it is done. My interior was really dirty from trip down here so I had interior detailed. Took a little longer but they did an excellent job. One other thing that impressed me was the owner did not want staff to just stand around, so after a little time of down time he got on PA and had them cleaning property up and those not busy with my car jumped right in and started sweeping and picking up. I was impressed as I have been to car washes that keeping place clean was not high priority. I definitely will return soon . read more

Very quick service and efficient car wash. The car is treated before going into an automated car wash with both vacuuming and outside rinsing of dirt. After exiting the car wash there are several attendant who hand dry your car while you wait. Often you can find a $2 coupon online or in the paper. Just used this car wash for the first time & I will not go back. My car was clean on the outside but when I got in my car it was still dirty! Dashboard & steering wheel were fine but it was as if they did not vacuum the car at all and whatever "fragrance" they used caused my car to smell like plastic. There is still dirt in the crevasses of the seat (I travel a lot so eating in my car is inevitable),on floor, in cup holder etc. for $36 I expect my car to be vacuumed well. This by far was the worst car wash I have ever gotten. When I pay $35, I would expect the inside to be cleaned as well. There was still sand on the seats, the seats were never moved in order to vacuum under them, the dash board, center console, and door panels were never touched!
