This is the worst company that has ever existed in the history of the universe. They are shady, disorganized, rude, and couldn't possibly care any less about keeping customers. Be careful how you work with them because they will try to charge you for EVERYTHING. One phone call with them asking a question about my Rinnai light blinking ended up costing me $107 and they never told me ahead of time there would be any charge. They also will just overcharge you on your bills and then refuse to do anything about it. I'm turning mine off later and just using space heaters until my landlord renovates the building and changes the heat source/companies. Thankfully she also knows how shady they are. read more

Is there a rating of Negative numbers. I live out of state and I have had issues with this company since they took over of AmeriGas. They claim they can't get down my driveway, but I pay to keep it cleared. Now they call my plow guy to clear it whether it needs it or not. I am thinking of reporting them to the State of Vermont consumer protection. I now have gotten nasty gram stating they will be making me a "will call" due to an overdue payment. I pay via my bank and can tract that this payment arrived the day before they sent this. I am getting rid of the company as soon as I can. read more

I wish I could give zero stars, frankly, but Yelp will not allow that. The WORST company I have ever dealt with. First, they demanded that we wait at our new apartment, which never had heat turned on in the landlord's name for who-knows-what-reason, so it's 20 degrees. I told them this. They proceeded to tell me that there is no way they can "have a tech call" but that we (my husband or I) have to wait there all day. That the tech could show up anywhere between 8 and 4. My husband waited all day and called at 3pm because he was a little impatient... it was an hour before the cutoff. They told him they didn't get the application processed in time and that no one would come out. They never even bothered to call HIM, he called THEM to see where they were. Once he told me, I called them and told them it was absolutely unacceptable. He had to miss an entire day of work and now they were asking him to miss another half day? Ridiculous. They hung up on me. So there's my two cents. It's too bad they have a virtual monopoly in this area and can treat people like crap. read more

Over the last few years we find that we are always running out of propane. Last time they told us that they had fixed the computer problem that caused this issue, but it keeps happening. Can only figure that either they're not on top of things- or that we're very unlucky. read more

Signed up over 6 months ago for service and they just can't seem to deliver gas. They often can't even find me in their system. They can't figure out that the gas tank on my property belongs to them. And they lurk around on my property without ringing the doorbell, ignoring the biosecurity signs on my farm gate. I am out of gas for many weeks at a time, which disrupts and damages my business, so I am switching companies to someone who actually values paying customers. If you are a masochist, give Blue Flame your money. These people should not be allowed to play with matches much less run a gas company. read more

They are the worst. Awful customer service. I prepaid for propane 800 dollars and it took them 3 weeks to deliver it. I always prepay for my propane and it takes them forever to deliver it, and when I called to see where the gas was that I already paid for they were very rude. They have forgotten to deliver also. I just called to get more propane delivered and no one answered the phone on a tuesday at 1:30 pm! Same thing happened yesterday. Living in Vermont and having propane for heat, it is extremely important that you dont run out, and they really don't seem to care at all. read more

The few times that I have had to call my local Blue Flame dealer, they have been nothing short of courteous and helpful. They came immediately when I was having trouble with a carbon monoxide detector to make sure there were no leaks. The office staff is wonderful and always answers my questions to my satisfaction. read more

I have been a customer of blue flame gas for almost ten years now. I had them when I bought the house. You would think after that long they would have given me a discount on the amount of fuel I burn and for the time I was a customer. But no. But when I talked to other companies and they said if you burn over 500gal annual the give you over a dollar off a gallon. I should have Che out out other prices long ago but since gas was high fuel was high I thought this was the norm. But after I looked into it and I asked why the other companies were cheaper by gallon according to the amount of fuel you burn annually the lady I was talking to at blue flame gas said that they were new customer pricing. I checked around and she flat out lied to my face ( on the phone). Last year I burned over 700 gallons and have been a customer for almost ten years. The customer service is sub human to a customer who was a customer for ten years. After April 21 2015 blue flame put me on a call basis. I than caught them pulling into my driveway and trying to put propane into my tank and I did not call them. read more
