I used to really like this place. I love to skate. Everytime I try to go to this rink the floor looks worse and worse. I don't care for the lighting now it is far too busy IMO. I guess I just want it to be like a "real" roller rink and I don't think it ever will be. My apologies if I've been holding too high of expectations. This place has been around forever. My husband grew up skating and working here. This is our daughter's favorite place for fun. It's a Humboldt must-do for all ages. New floors, amazing lasers and disco balls. Great staff. Arcade, concessions, several party areas. $5 entry is totally worth it. We're regulars. You should be, too! read more

It's a nice place to go when you want something fun and cheap to do. Usually not that busy, hours are pretty weird though.

I love this roller rink. My daughter learned to skate, my wife and I have date nights here and the adult skate is just wonderful. The staff is super friendly and helpful, you can request the music you like and it's hardly ever crowded. Great place for beginners to learn. read more

I'm a roller rink snob and frequent skater at LA's Moonlight Rollerway. This skate night is spectacular. Low-key, warm, friendly, not tons of skaters so it's not overly packed, good music, good lights, ridiculously cheap and to top off all the AWESOME, it's chock full of brand new skate rentals included in the $5 entry fee. It's my new favorite best-roller rink in the US. A cozy family atmosphere of totally old-fashioned fun. Vintage arcade games! Went to a Sunday skate from 2-5pm. Cost was $5.00 and included skates. The skating area was smooth and had plenty of space. Good time had by all! read more

I have been going to the blue lake rink for years and its the best floor anywhere and the staff is amazing...the kids that are ditched there by parents are very well taken care of by staff...they really care about the people and the safety of everyone...blue lake rink rules!!!! read more
