After a workout at Crunch, I was craving a smoothie -- and somehow, after over 6 months of walking right past this place (literally 2-3 doors down), I finally noticed Blue Mango. And let me just say: I've found my new go-to smoothie spot. The shop isn't huge, and yes -- when there's a line (which seems to be the norm), get ready to be a little elbow-to-elbow. But trust me, it's worth the squeeze. They don't just serve smoothies either -- they've got surprisingly good and affordable premade meals that aren't listed on their site (so I'm guessing the options rotate daily). A nice bonus if you're trying to stay on track post-workout. As for my smoothie? I went with the one that had the most peanut butter (can't remember the name, but it came highly recommended by the owner). Packed with flavor, packed with 36g of protein, and only around $10 -- maybe less. The only downside is that everything's made in the back, so you don't get to see the process. But you can tell it's freshly made -- it took about 10 minutes, and the quality showed in every sip. If you're looking for a nutritious, flavorful pick-me-up, step into Blue Mango. Although this bowl was extremely small for the price (in my opinion b/c I've had bigger ones) .. it was delicious. The pineapples were an odd add, it probably would've tasted better with maybe mango or another tropical fruit. I also feel like the pineapples were not fresh and more so canned.
