Stopped for dinner with a large family group & had a great time! Ordered the 8oz sirloin steak with a loaded baked potato. The steak was tender & flavorful while the baked potato was fully loaded & delicious! Almost everyone else ordered steaks & also commented on how good they were. Staff was friendly & the place had a comfortable vibe. Owner Mark was great to talk with & very personable. We will be back! read more

Went to Blue Moon for a solo dinner last Friday after work. I get off around 4:00 so I had to wait a bit for the grill to open at 5:00. It was totally worth the wait. I had a rib eye steak dressed with onions and 'shrooms and my new fave spuds..... Gems!! I'm from California so I didn't know this little hockey pucks of 'tater love so I thought I'd try them out. Wow, these suckers were just awesome. Basically Tater Tots in a disc form like a big checker. Just awesome especially swimming in a lake of A-1 Sauce! The steak was out of this world good. Fork tender and cooked to perfection. The salad bar was basic, but very fresh and they actually serve good, 'ol Iceberg lettuce. None of that crappy yard clipping mix you find all over the place. Good selection of suds in bottles/cans and on tap. Decent bar choices too. If you're ever in Plentywood this place is a must. Good stuff!! read more

Don't bother stopping at this place. Admittedly, Plentywood, MT has little to offer. Nonetheless, there are numerous things wrong with this place. Pros: They do serve food. Quality is fair. Cons: Where do I start. The place was basically one quarter full when we arrived. It still took 50 minutes to get two burgers and fries. SLOW! Waitress knew we were starving and failed to tell us about the free popcorn. (Thanks a lot for your inattentive service!!!) The temperature inside was very cold. (Many kept their jackets on to stay warm.) Food was way overpriced. Halibut and chips for $23!!, served on plastic! Lobster tails for $48!!!!!!! I have dined in some excellent restaurants, the world, over, and these prices, for the quality and portion received were outrageous. Ambiance= 0. What to do??? Go somewhere else! If you're in Plentywood, you'll do find here. Steaks were good, not amazing, but they were good. Burgers & wings were excellent, great choice. The pizza, was some of the cheesiest pizza I've ever saw. Also adding saurkraut to pizza must be a MT thing because we saw that again in Culberson at another pizza joint. But we really enjoyed the pizza we had! Also, note there are no beers on tap (disappointing) but they did have a Bokken Bock from a local (Missoula) brewery in bottles that was FANTASTIC. read more
