I asked for a low fade and trim and to keep the back and sides long and I got a high fade all around down to a 2 and didn't even shave my side burns had to do it myself and they finished mine like 5 minutes earlier than a person getting a buzz cut who stared way before me so I will never be coming back. but least they were somewhat nice. read more

When searching for a barber due to the pending retirement of my former barber. I tried Betty's barbershop in La Grande. Shortly thereafter she moved her practice to Blue Mountain Barbers and I followed her. I value a barber who listens to their customers, are able to cut hair professionally and are courteous. For me it all about abilities and to their skill and knowledge of what I consider to still be a professional trade. Betty is one such professional and whom I have no problem recommending her as a barber and professional. read more

If you take any sort of pride in your hair do not go here. I have went there 3 times when in a pinch for a haircut and every single time have been disappointed. This last time was the the worst. I don't write reviews or generally complain about things in life, but when you spend two years growing your hair out a certain way and the barber can't do the simple task of following the existing shave line, it makes you wonder if they ever even went to school or have the proper licensing. The only reason I went there instead of having my gf do the simple task was because I wanted my split ends trimmed as I have long hair on the top half of my head. Shave line was followed very poorly around the my entire head and an extra 1-2 inches was taken off the back making the back portion of my hair super thin and now I may have to cut the rest of my hair and start the growth process all over. I wasn't informed of the f**k up during the haircut and had to figure it out on my own. Very poor place to get a haircut. Very unprofessional. Wish I just would've let my gf do it with my beard trimmer. I would've gotten a better haircut. read more

I've been going here since they were light on customers. Now I plan on at least an extra 10 minutes. Totally worth it. Great service and they cut EXACTLY how I ask. Super nice people and they chat just enough to pass the time, but not enough to make it take longer. They end the haircut with traditional straight razor shave on the sideburns and neck, follow with some hot soothing aftershave and a brief massage to the lower neck. What!?? Love it. That extra service is still always a pleasant surprise. read more
