The grilled cheese lobster sandwich was excellent! My husband absolutely loved it! The last time we were here the lobster rolls were a bit fishy so I didn't order the sandwich but regretted it. I had the Sandbar salad and it was delicious! My FIL got the turkey sandwich as it was very good previously. The cobia ceviche was very good but not enough of the fried wonton chips and when we asked for more, didn't arrive until they brought our food so ask for extra up front! Okay, first things first, they're open but tough to find. I feel like even if their parking lot wasn't under construction, this would still be a bit tricky to get to by car - definitely easier by boat I'm guessing. It's tucked way back behind a bunch of buildings, right on the water but pretty far from the street. They have golf carts set up right now and employees drive you to and from the parking lot. If I hadn't found this first on Yelp, I never would've found it. We ordered the pink lemonade drinks - they were basically slushies. The alcohol was EXTREMELY minimal - though they were still refreshing on the hot day. Later wanted to order Coke, but the restaurant has Pepsi so we passed. For food, my mom got the steak medallions which she said were good. The fries that came with were fantastic, crispy, fresh. I got the shrimp flatbread and I wish I'd picked something else. It was fine but didn't have that much flavor. The overwhelming flavor was cheese, with little other seasonings to balance that out. This place could really be a full day! After an adventure at the state park down the road, we stopped in here for an early lunch. Parking is limited so utilizing the Marina lot is how to go - on the weekends, there's a $5 cover which the restaurant gives back on your bill. They have multiple shuttle carts to take you right to the entrance - or you can walk. We were seated under the large shade by the pool - yes a pool, that quickly got occupied by kids. There are two small stages for entertainment, that day it was a man performing on steal drums which gave a great ambiance. I ordered a half dozen oysters and the ahi tuna wrap with fries. The oysters were good - got my fix for fresh raw oysters. The ahi tuna wrap was where it was at. It was fresh and chunky - the sweet chili sauce and wasabi aioli were the perfect addition. Based on all the good reviews I expected more. From the moment we walked to the hostess stand the employees seemed like they did not want to be there and the judgy looks they were giving us was uncalled for. They seated us right by the pool and in front of the stage even though there were plenty of tables available. Enjoyed the refreshing smell of chlorine and enriching conversations of kids coming from the pool next to our table. As time went on it became a bit of a splash zone with kids jumping in and out if the pool. The tables outside of the metal gate right off the water looked like a much nicer place to be - I would advise asking for a table there. The food they fried was fine except the Calamari. It was chewy, overcooked, unimpressive and had an odd flavor. They seemed like they were previously frozen defiantly not fresh. Also the marinara sauce was warm and chunky. Like how does that even happen. I keep my marinara sauce cold and so should you. Oysters were good and reasonably priced. Ahi tuna tasted good but looked like it was water boarded. Excuse my imagery but it was as swimming in a pool of its own liquid. Yuca fries were the highlight of the visit. I would not come back, I don't really know how to feel. I am numb that I paid $70 for food and service that sucked. The view was nice but that is not enough to get my money again. I could see how it would and appeal to families with kids. We usually love this place. When family visits from out of town, this is our go to. I was so excited to come back tonight as it had been a while and we saw new items on the menu! We were celebrating a birthday and loved the live band. There was no wait and we were sat right away. I would say the food and the service were not as great as we usually got. The host was on her phone and I was standing in front of her for a good minute before she noticed me, and didn't seem happy to be there at all. Our server was nice. We got drinks promptly and our order was taken. When the food was delivered 3/4 meals were cold. We didn't want to complain due to the time, but, two were sent back. Now I thought they would cook it fresh, but it was just warmed and returned. One persons recook didn't come out and we had to ask for it. We had one bar drink reordered that never came, and the server admitted that she forgot. But the time we were ready to go, the payout process was strange. The server called the total out to the table, announcing it when it was birthday present... it felt kinda weird. She handed us the tablet to pay, but we couldn't review the check, it was just the total, so then we had to ask to see the check items too, which was uncomfortable. We tipped and then asked for a paper copy and had to wait another 10 min for her to come back. All and all it wasn't a horrible experience but it certainly wasn't the best we have had here. Not sure if ownership changed hands but we all drive about a hour to eat here and this experience has changed how often we will return. read more

Already wrote a review for a previous trip but wanted to share again. We brought in fish that we caught fishing and they cooked it up. It's $15/pp and comes with two sides pp. We tried grilled and blackened and the chef did an excellent job! They also offered a fried option but we didn't ask for that. We also tried the coconut shrimp appetizer and grilled shrimp flatbread. Both were delicious. The coconut shrimp were flavorful. The breading was light and crispy. Not greasy at all. I enjoyed the flatbread. It definitely helped to add something different. I loved the crust - thin and flaky. It was just mozzarella and shrimp. No sauce. I don't think it needs anything extra. Key lime pie is one of the best in the area. The ice cream sandwich looked difficult to eat. The cookie looked hard. Needed a knife instead of a spoon! Of course the atmosphere is beautiful! One more quick thing - the golf cart drivers are so personable. You do need to take a golf cart ride from parking lot to restaurant. So fun! I would not go back!! Frozen heated food is not for me. The best part of the food was the french fries. The coconut shrimp was frozen. I might as well have gone to Walmart freezer case and heated it up. Mahi I believe also is frozen and it was a very thin piece. Coleslaw was dry no mayonnaise no flavor no no vinegar. I put hot pepper on it for flavor. $27.00 plus tax & tip for crappy food. The waitress knew I was not happy, but it didn't seem as if she wanted to say anything to the manager because he won't do anything. My assumption was correct. (She was caring & sweet). I gave cash to the waitress & I mentioned that I was disappointed the manager did not come to the table. He said everyone in the area served the same type of food. He then asked me if I would be satisfied if he gives me back $5.00. I left disappointed and annoyed. The best part they have going for them is an old-fashioned Florida feel in the water with a pool in the middle. That was unique, but not worth going back. Extremely disappointing. This is a good place for the kids, with a big swimming pool in the middle, LOUD bands, dj's and entertainment. The service was good considering that they were also hosting a wedding while we were here for lunch. Because I was underwhelmed with the food & prices, and not being able to hear the person next to me, I don't think it's for us here. I do feel this location could gain a lot by adopting a more island, relaxing vibe, and revamping the menu. The blackened fish sandwich was fresh but inedible & they didn't have any sauce options. So disappointing! I suggested to go there to out of town guests and I was embarrassed at how bad it has become. I've been going to this spot since it opened years ago as Wylders and this is the worst that it has ever been. Service terrible, food delivered to table like we were at an auction house and food was mediocre at best. Server never came back to check on us or ask if we needed anything. You would have thought that someone would have noticed as they cleared the table that plates and plates of food were left uneaten. I've been going to Blue Point for 15 years. Our boat is docked nearby, making it an easy choice after a day on the water. The location is phenomenal--right on the water at a point with a great view and a good breeze to cool you down on a hot day. The novelty of having a pool in the middle of the restaurant is so much fun. The pool gives the kids a place to play while we relax. However, the downside of having the pool is the upkeep for the staff. We've been there before when the pool gave off an offensive odor (too much urine, not enough chemicals) and had to ask to have our seats moved away from the pool deck. Since then, we haven't permitted our children to use the pool because now we know what we did not know previously. Keep this in mind! We've also attended catered events at Blue Point, such as adult birthday parties, and they have always done a nice job with the food and, of course, the location. The food is fine--nothing stands out as a must-have, but the location is what keeps you coming back. read more

Really awesome, laid back place. Live music sometimes, a swimming pool in the middle of the outdoor space. Their downfall is the bathrooms are across the parking lot. A hotel also was built in their parking lot so now you have to park a block away and walk over. Sometimes they have a shuttle, but you can't count on it. So, not good for people with low mobility. However, the food is great, the service is great, and I love the outside ambiance. But it is all outside, so if it is bad weather, stay away! read more

This is an outdoor restaurant right on the water, there is a short walk from the parking lot but they do have a golf cart service. Our server was Ashley, she was incredible. Especially because we picked the furthest table and she kept checking on us! We started with calamari, it was really good, super crunchy! For my main course I ordered the buffalo chicken flatbread. I enjoyed this dish because it had spicy flavor but the sauce was met nicely with the gorgonzola cheese! It almost had a spicy sweetness to it. We have not been to many restaurants since Covid. We hoped this would be a safe choice since it has outside seating. It appeared that all of the servers and wait staff had some sort of mask but they definitely did not wear them all the time. We actually asked the young man who was in training and working with our sever to put his mask on while taking our order. The view of the intracoastal is beautiful. I would think it's a great place to stop by for cocktails. Regarding the food. It was okay. Nothing to rave about but decent. We started with ceviche which was nicely presented. It tasted good but came with fried wonton chips that were stale and cold. We also tried the mahi Reuben and the steak flat bread. The flatbread crust is interesting - it's like a giant cracker. Again, both dishes were good. I think the mahi Reuben was our favorite. I'm not sure I felt they were taking all the necessary precautions with wearing masks but the tables were all 6' apart. If we weren't in such a precarious state with this virus. We might have enjoyed it a little more. read more

Loved it! Really want to give it a 4.5 starts. With the risk of sounding like Stephan from SNL 'this place has everything' (that I love). Watching the boats go by, people paddleboarding. 1st, it's the salt life vibe. Heck we even ate in the sand (on a high top table). There is a pool in the middle of the restaurant. I could see coming back with the kids and letting them swim or even coming in by boat (limited docking though from what I understand) and jumping in to cool off. Ricky young was playing on the stage playing just about everything, including Chesney and Zack Brown Band. Gonna follow him and check him out either at B.P. or other. Our server....didn't catch her name...was awesome. Not pushy, was there when we needed. I had the 'famous' mahi wrap. I gotta say it was one of the best wraps I've ever had. So so disappointed. I'm not sure where to start but I rarely am this disappointed and I try a lot of places. So we sat up closer to the bar and it took a minute for someone to come serve us... which ended up being the bartender. We ordered the ceviche to start, it was awful. No flavor what so ever. The worst ceviche I have ever had. We orders a pound of chilled peel and eat shrimp, never got them. I personally ordered the blackened mahi tacos (comes with three). They were edible but nothing special. My boyfriend and his friend got the tenderloin tips with fries. They also said they were nothing special. The fries were decent. For desert we had the ice cream sandwich who's was good. This is a busy place and it doesn't seem like a well oiled machine. Seems like chaos and not organized chaos. The bathrooms were awful. Floors wet not sure if it was from the pool goers or the leaking toilets. Have to say the bathroom trailer as Sunfest was cleaner. The views were the only thing that was beautiful here. visited for lunch and was blown away by how gorgeous the views were! stunning place, perfect for a cute date! the ahi tuna poke platter was very fresh, highly recommend! the mahi wrap was also great. you have a pretty solid selection of sides you can pick with the mahi wrap as well (sweet potato fries, yucca fries, plantains, etc.) to enter, first find the parking lot (there's signs for blue pointe bar by the parking lot entrance), the GPS/navigation should take you there if you put in blue pointe bar and grill. then, there's a worker (super friendly!) in a small golf cart that will drive you up to the actual restaurant itself as a fun bonus. (it is a small walk to the restaurant, but definitely walkable if you prefer that!) if it's windy it can definitely be a bit of a struggle to eat without your stuff blowing all over the place, so check the weather! read more

I'm in Jupiter on vacation with my wife and kids (ages 2 & 5). I'm grateful that we made the decision to stop here because the experience was perfect. The food was good (standard, but well executed), the servers were welcoming, friendly, attentive and professional, and the vibes were some of the best I've found in Jupiter. Upon arrival, my expectations of the music were low, but when the acoustic duo played Grateful Dead, Jack Johnson, and especially the song Closer to the Sun by Slightly Stoopid, I was thankful that we landed here. Beautiful views and a pool in the middle of the restaurant for my kids to enjoy after the meal. There's nothing else I could ask for. Okay, I absolutely LOVE this place! Let me explain start to finish to help my fellow Yelpers! To begin, if you have young kids who like to swim, pack your suits and towels! In the middle of this restaurant is a great little pool that (mostly) kids swim in while grown-ups are eating (win!). If you remember, grab some cash as well! Once you arrive, park in the parking lot off to the side as you cannot pull directly into the restaurant. However, don't worry, a bunch of golf cart drivers will be around to pick you up complementary from Blue Pointe. This is why you may want to grab some cash. It's always nice to tip your driver. When you arrive, it is absolutely scenic! Chairs surround the point and you get a fresh breeze surrounded by water on all sides. Make sure to be careful picking your chairs if you don't love live music. More often than not you may be seated next to a live band which may mean you want to find a seat further from the bar. I've yet to have anything bad here! Their peach drink is delicious and their service is always on point. My husband loves the oysters and the kids always get something so good! I love their drinks and appetizers and many times that's all you'll need. The kids meals all come with a complementary popsicle which is great for the kids. I don't want to jinx it but I've never been when it has been super crowded or annoyingly loud. We usually try to snag a week day to avoid weekend crowds though. If I had to give any criticisms it would be the bathrooms. They are not in the restaurant and you have to walk across a small parking lot to get to them and sometimes they are dirty and stinky. So, we ended up here on a rainy day in Jupiter. Because there is construction right next to the restaurant, there is a golf cart that takes you from the parking area back to the restaurant. The driver couldn't have been any sweeter!! Lots of seating with a beautiful view that we could not take advantage of because of the rain. We were seated under the covered area. But, our experience here was still wonderful! Our server, Crystal, was attentive and pleasant. I ordered the sandbar salad, which is one of the best salads I've ever had!
