Bluebird Meadows Farm is a small, family-operated farm that sells pasture-raised beef, pork, lamb, chicken, turkey, and eggs through their website and through various farmers' markets. *Their meats contain no hormones, antibiotics, or MSG!*
I have ordered several of their products online. Here are my reviews for these foods:
Bacon - 4 stars - Their dry-cured bacon and their hickory-smoked bacon were very tasty, but their black-pepper bacon was slightly too peppery.
Burgundy-pepper marinated strip steak - 3.5 stars - This strip steak tasted good, but it had an unusual texture.
Flank steak - 5 stars - This flank steak was very large, tender, juicy, and tasty. Beef patties - 5 stars - These beef patties were large, tasty, and not greasy.
Hotdogs - 5 stars - These hotdogs contained a lot of real meat and were a much higher quality than store-bought hotdogs.
Meatballs - 4 stars - These meatballs had a mild spice.
Meatloaf - 4.5 stars - This meatloaf contained both pork and beef, and it was very flavorful.
Ground beef - 5 stars - This ground beef was made from grass-fed cattle who were given no hormones or antibiotics. I used the ground beef to make hamburgers, and they were not greasy, and they tasted good.
Skirt steak - 4.5 stars - This skirt steak was juicy and flavorful.
Sloppy Joe kit - 3.5 stars - This kit included just meat and buns with no sauce.
Chicken tenders - 5 stars - These chicken tenders were very fresh and tasted great.
Quiche - 4 stars - This quiche contained ham and cheese. It was decent.
Pineapple teriyaki chicken - 4 stars - The chicken was fresh, and I appreciate that it had a different taste.
