The only thing she did right was say I had migraines and I already knew that. She doesn't let you talk, she has little to no concern to the amount of pain and fear experienced by migraine sufferers. If you call her office in need of an emergency prescription or if your medication is not helping your symptoms, don't expect help. The best thing she did was give me free samples, nothing else was covered by my insurance. His office is located near the University of Kentucky campus & is fairly easy to find. Ample parking space is available around Building D. Office atmosphere: His staff & assistants are kind & helpful. Seating is ample; avoid sitting near the windows if you don't want to be uncomfortably warm. The office layout is a little funky in a wheelchair but doable. There are two drawbacks of which future patients should be aware. 1. Expect to wait; Dr. Blake is a busy guy. I've sat in his office from 1 to 3 hours. 2. If your neurological or other medical issues cause you to have headaches, then this is not the practice for you. The waiting area is small and the "ad" TV located in the waiting room is uncomfortably loud. When I visited I asked if it could be turned down & was told that it could not be adjusted or turned off. Oh, the irony! In short, bring a snack, magazines, &, seriously, earplugs.

I went to a Lexington…read moreClinic Urgent Care Clinic and was pleasantly surprised to discover they offered a walking clinic specializing in orthopedic care. The clinic was a one stop shop for my injury. They had X-ray onsite. It took less than an hour for me to be seen by a nurse practitioner, X-rayed, and put into a cast. My follow up visits were equally as efficient. An orthopedic clinic was a brilliant concert and my medical treatment was excellent. Hope I never need them again but glad to know something like this is available if I do.

I'm not giving the actual nerve test a 5 becuase that wasn't fun, but they did it as quick as possible to get me through it. The needle pokes I could've done without! Lol I was in and out within an hour. I would recommend them if you have to have any testing done.
