From the ambulance drivers to the nursing staff, everyone I interacted with was so friendly. I was able to check in upon arrival and placed in the waiting room for my husband to arrive by ambulance a free minutes later. The nurses we interacted with answered all my questions and did everything in a quick, prompt fashion. I was surprised that our emergency room experience was less than two hours, and I was super grateful for everything that everyone did. From what I could tell the restroom, emergency room, waiting room, hallways, and his individual room were all clean and well stocked.

Where do I start? My experience at Bryan Health was horrible. I had a medical emergency and ended…read moreup in the hospital for days. Now, I don't know much medical wise, especially not as much as my own mother does. I od on A LOT of pills, and i they decided to get the pills out of my system 3 days later, when they could have taken them out of my system the day I arrived. When my mom confronted them they said " oh yeah I guess we could have". They also refused to show me my medical charts on mychart, because they didn't have the right name for me ( They asked me my name in the ambulance and I was not in the right headspace so I had said my preferred name I go by instead of my legal name) and they refused to change it. I was so exhausted mentally and physically, that all I did was sleep. One day the doctor leaned over my med and asked me a medical question that I needed to decide ( I forgot which one it was) and I said i'm not sure but I said it on the spot and called my mom after ( They refused to let her sleep the night because of the "rules". As I called her, I asked my mo mother if i made an ok choice just to be sure ( it was). Not long after the same nurse came back leaned over me and said " Why did you call your mom to make a medical decision for you? Your 20 you can make your own decisions. Do not call your mom again to ask her for advice. your 20" As I explained the situation back. I told my mom what had happened, and she stood up to the nurse. When my mom walked out the room, the same nurse had leaned over my bed again ( again as I lay helpless because i needed help walking), and said "Did you tell your mom i told you not to call her, because I never said that so do not make lies about me" and walked away. And this is not even everything. They put me in the psych ward after upstairs ( same hospital) and there several things happened. I had a panic attack, as the nurses and staff just walked by acting like I didn't exist even though I was shaking. I decided to go to my room once I was ready and began to cry more, and they came in told me to stop so I could get my blood drawn in a middle of my panic attack and walked off as if nothing happened. My friend had came in and sat on my bed ( the opposite end) to comfort me because the staff wasn't doing their job nor helping and the nurses escalated it from there and removed me from the unit, and switched me over to the adult adult ward, and kicked my friend out of the hospital fully. They accused her of touching me which never happened and didn't believe me when I said she didn't, and they laughed at me. Another girl in the psych ward had a seizure as Vicky. Remember that specific name. Vicky, for the unit of assertive people Vicky, decided it would be a good idea to lean over my friend tell her to get up herself, she's faking and looked at her watching a seizure and got frustrated and walked off, as another PATIENT, helped this poor girl out. And that's not even all. This place is horrible with the staff. The most I got out of it was the patients in the psych ward who understood me the most as we stayed up late having deep conversations and group therapy. However I highly do NOT recommend this place and Vicky still works there from what I know

Sadly I didn't actually get an appointment here…read more After waiting over a week to be accepted as a new patient they finally reached out to me to get scheduled. Okay fine. Fast forward to the day prior to the visit I start receiving text messages for check in to my appointment. Okay, a little odd seeing as it's not until tomorrow. Don't people normally check in 15 to 30 minutes prior? So I left it alone thinking that maybe the system was just being a little wonky. The day of my appointment I am very busy at work, trying to get things done before I have to leave early to give myself plenty of time to fill out the new patient paperwork that they informed me of. No sooner had I made it to my car, pulled out my phone... I saw no less than 7 text messages spamming me over the course of 12 hours to check in to my visit, a missed phone call, and the final text stating that they had canceled my appointment. I literally had almost 2 hours before my actual appointment. I talked to the woman who answered the call and she had stated that I had to reschedule. Wouldn't give me a reason as to why, so I asked her if it because I didn't reply fast enough to my appointment reminder? She said no. I went home and told my boyfriend what happened. His response, "Yeah... they do that if you don't answer them." So technically, I'm also dealing with reception lying about the reason for the cancelation. I'm sorry that I didn't respond to the spam. But if I tell you that I will be there at 4:30pm, I'm gonna be there at 4:30pm to fill out the new patient paperwork for my appointment that you scheduled at 5:00pm. For those that can't make their appointments when they say they can be there, well... that is a "them" problem and should be handled accordingly. I think its disrespectful to the client to expect them to respond to them outside of the window discussed and then cancel their visit because they didn't text back when you wanted them to. Had they left it alone I was actually scheduled to arrive just after 4pm giving me plenty of time to fill out their paperwork. Unsolicited, she provided times for a new appointment. But I told her that I was so irritated with the situation that I would call them back when I wasn't so irritated. Right now, I am on the fence as to whether I really want to.
