We stopped in for lunch, and the sandwiches were amazing! They were so light and fresh, perfect for a hot summer day! The prices weren't bad and the staff was nice. The inside was clean and bustling with everyone there.

Ordinarily would not complain about something like this but I've been here for morning coffee a dozen times after dropping my son off for practice as Asphalt Green and I won't be back after today. For what it's worth, I liked this place because it's open early and the coffee is a solid "good." Not remarkable, but fits squarely within the tier of quality that is slightly better than Starbucks but not anything memorable. Like, a solid B+ coffee shop. Today I came in as I usually do with my 20oz Yeti and ordered a large. Today the guy tells me they're large as are only 16 oz, so would a partial pour be okay. I just wanted coffee so I rolled my eyes inside and said sure. But something about seeing a mug that looked 2/3 full annoyed the sh*t out of me. That's entirely a me problem but still, I can't imagine they would lose more money by giving me *4oz* of coffee (e.g. not liquid gold) vs what they're saving on the price of the printed cup and lid. But I'm polite so I turned around and ordered a small so I could fill my mug, make myself happy, and have a little extra coffee. I was content to follow the rules, be nice about it, and just never come back to a place that's going to nickel-&-dime me over some hot water and probably 4 beans worth of coffee. The reason I'm publicly airing this is because after all that, my final sip from my mug was straight up a mouthful of sludgy grinds. It was so much (I took a big sip) that I almost gagged at the dog park and hand to walk home with a dry mouth full of coffee grinds. Check out the aftermath of my mug in the photo. So my advice to this place is to learn to thread the needle between a little goodwill that will invest in customer retention and being an absolute cheapskate who happens to not really train their people on basic quality control. Good luck but your coffee isn't any different than any of the other 600 places downtown who charge $4-5 for a cup of drip, so I'll say it was nice-ish while it lasted.

Such a cute&convenient little coffee spot! Stopped by to pick up my morning coffee. The barista was very friendly and patient as we took some time looking at the menu. Drip Coffee was great, and the mocha was delicious The white chocolate oatmeal cookie was phenomenal! They do have an indoor/outdoor dine in option that looked great, but we just picked something up on the go. Would definitely come back!

This was a great healthy option to start the day to balance the rest of the junk food and beverages I enjoyed in the city. The staff were friendly and the food came out in less than 10 minutes - very fresh and good quality &quantity.

I came in a large group and got some fries. The fries had no flavor whatsoever. I added salt and pepper but it could not redeem the dish. The fries come with a side of ketchup and a white unidentified sauce that is watery and also does not have flavor. I had other friends who ordered fries and did not finished them either. The cafe manager promptly removed our dishes as soon as we finished eating which was rude. Considering that you pay beforehand, that was not needed since the cafe was not even full. Your local Chinese spot has better fries for $5.95. The reviews are correct, customer service is spotty at best.

I've had Bluestone Lane back in LA and decided to get it again here in NY. The Battery Park location is conveniently located close to me and super cute. Friendly employees, but slow service and nasty scone. Iced oat latte (4/5): Standard latte that's pretty difficult to mess up. No complaints as it tasted fine. Cheddar scone (1/5): Worst pastry ever. The scone was so dry that the texture tasted like saw dust in my mouth... It was NOT light and fluffy, and definitely DID NOT have a rich savory cheddar cheese flavor. I literally took two bites and threw the rest away lol.

Bluestone Lane was right across from our hotel and I was excited to give it a try. Their menu offered both "brekkie" and lunch options. I opted for an Avocado Smash with a side of bacon and the hubby ordered the B.L.A.T.E.; consisting of bacon, lettuce (arugula), avocado, tomato, and an egg on a brioche. Hubby was stuffed for hours. My Avocado Smash came with bacon on top although I wanted it as a side. Not a problem, I just slid them off. The portion was huge and they were not cheap with the avocado; huge plus. I had a harder time slicing into the toast but over it was super fulfilling. I also ordered the vanilla oat latte which seemed like a pre-made/pre-packaged coffee. Although it did the job, it didn't quite hit the spot like a fresh made latte. Service was friendly. You can see the servers double check the food prior to it going out to the customers. I saw them push my order back to add more bacon on my plate. Nice!

When we got there, although there was a line, it looked like it was moving fairly quick! Still, our order was ready for us at the pick-up station so we walked in and found a corner spot. It's pretty snug inside, and although there are a few tables and some standing areas, most people got their food and left. The matcha flavor came through nicely, while the green tangerine added a bright, citrusy flavor that made the drink incredibly refreshing. It was lightly sweet with a little fizz, and the dried citrus garnish was a nice touch. The customer service was also great. I had a few questions about the drinks, and they were enthusiastically answered, which I really appreciated. I'm always happy when a coffee shop has interesting options for us non-coffee drinkers, and this one definitely delivered. I'll be back and would absolutely order the Green Tangerine Matcha Ade again.

So I went in for the Green Tangerine Matcha Ade, which is the drink they should be talking about more. The green tangerine is the Jeju cheonggyul thing, the unripe fruit picked before it sweetens, so you get a sharper, almost yuzu-adjacent bitterness instead of orange juice sweetness. That's the right call against matcha. Grassy tea, tart citrus, light sugar, actual carbonation that hadn't gone flat by the time I got to the bottom. The matcha stayed suspended too, which is harder than it sounds in soda water. Dried citrus wheel on top is a real garnish, not a sad afterthought. Staff were genuinely into it. I asked what grade of matcha they use and how it's built, and got straight answers with zero eye-rolling. Rare at a counter-service spot at 1410 Broadway, where most places are just moving the garment district lunch crowd through. It's eight bucks for a fizzy tea. That's steep, and the room is basically a lobby cafe with very little seating, so this is a grab-and-walk-to-Bryant-Park situation, not a linger. Still, if you're a tea person stuck in a coffee city, this is one of the better cold matcha drinks in Midtown right now. Better balanced than Kijitora's peach fizz, which leans sweet. Order it, skip the seating, don't expect quiet.

It happened to be 787 Coffee which I have visited plenty of times on the island and enjoy. With excitement and in Spanish I tell the cashier that I was happy to come across this place as I have tried them out in PR. How is it that this "jibara" apparently from Maricao, spoke to me in broken English while I am talking to her in our native language, total fail. Anyhow, I ordered the coquito hot latte with an extra shot of rum and oat milk, fine, I paid $11 for a very small coffee. Now what I can't believe is that the quesito pastry was $8. I really wanted it but it was not until I paid that I then noticed the price. I sat to eat it while I waited for my name to be called as mentioned by the cashier. I walked around looking at everything, the music very loud and hard for people sitting to have conversations, the place is very colorful and with many PR sayings, however the place also feels very Americanized with the music and layout. I still awaited my name to be called minutes later, but nothing. I approached the cashier, who was just standing there, to ask about my coffee and she wasn't able to tell me so she asked the barista steps away from her. He pointed to a cofre sitting on their counter, it had my name, and when I pointed out that I was waiting for my name to be called, she shrugged her shoulders and smiled like she didn't care. The coffee by now was not all that hot, I never tasted any rum or coquito flavor and felt I wasted my time at this place. What's more upsetting is that I left a nice tip for a service that was not provided. They couldn't even bring the coffee ti my table once they realized it was sitting there and they forgot to call my name. You can find better service elsewhere.
