    Awesome Cranberry Walnut Bread
    Linda R.

This is an artisan bakery located in the Bluff View district of Chattanooga. If you are looking for different types of loaves of bread this is the place to go. While I was there, I tried the Cranberry Walnut Broule. It was delicious, I decided to buy a loaf. The bakery's location is in the beautiful Bluff View art district. My suggestion is to grab your backpack and a loaf of their bread for a picnic or as a snack as you walk around the river district of Chattanooga.

GREAT BAKERY. I was visiting my mom in Chattanooga for the weekend after Thanksgiving when she ran out of bread. So we hopped into her car and drove over to Bluff View to get bread from the Bluff View Bakery. My mom must have passed 100+ places where she could have bought bread on the way from her house to BVB, but no. If there's bread in her house, it's bread from BVB. And now I understand why. Since I was there, I grabbed a few things myself and brought them back to Nashville. There was so much I wanted (sweet breads, rye breads), but I ultimately decided to get challah and a jalapeno cheddar boule. So good. Well baked bread is amazing. Poorly baked bread can be wrong in so many ways - dense, heavy, crumbly. Not the bread from BVB. Light and airy and wonderful flavor. Sometimes I think my mom can be a little loco. But not about this bread. Bread from BVB is just better! (Four stars only because it's a tiny place and there's really no way to walk around or stand even if there are other people inside with you.) TRY IT!

Bluff View Bakery is a hidden gem...just follow your nose!

This bakery has the best fresh challah braid, bread, pretzels, boule... so fresh, moist, and the best flavors. We stopped here while on a morning walk through the Bluff View art district and river walk. If we lived here we'd be stopping here every day! You must try this bakery!

Parking wasn't too bad since we were there so early but there is only a little bit of paid street parking nearby from what I can tell. The woman who took our order was very efficient. We ordered and were able to get our pastries and coffees within 5 minutes. I got a chocolate croissant (my favorite), my partner got a cinnamon roll (his favorite), and then we each got one of their seasonal scones. I got the blackberry lemon lavender and he got the raspberry pistachio. We also ordered some of their seasonal specialty coffees. Unfortunately, I cannot remember the flavor of mine but I know I enjoyed it. My partner got one that almost made me think of an orange creamsicle - he was very pleased. This space gets busy quick, and it's obvious why! You should definitely stop in at Niedlov's if you're in Chattanooga.

The staff is always so friendly and even though it tends to get crowded because the food is so good, you can usually find a spot to sit and enjoy your treats with both indoor and outdoor options. Whenever I visit I love stopping here for a snack and if you're smart, go early in the morning to get everything fresh and when all of the options are available as things sell out fast!

I did not see any handicapped spaces near the entrance of the bakery, but that's not their fault. There are spaces adjacent to the building and more across a traffic lane. The restaurant is located in the rear inside corner of the shopping center. There is a sign above the entrance so it is easy to locate. Walking in, the baked goods case is on the left wall. We were greeted almost immediately by someone coming out of the rear kitchen area. The staff was helpful in describing the items. Our first visit was near their closing time, so there were not many items left. We did find a few we wanted to try. Our next visit was earlier in the day and the selection was significantly greater. I cannot identify everything we saw or even purchased, but I can tell you everything was quite good. The filled items had fillings like cheese, fruit, one was even ham and cheese. The others were more like sweet breads and muffins. It was very hard to limit ourselves when making our selections as everything looked so good. Tasting each item proved our eyes were good judges of flavor. Mary's Bakery is an unassuming bakery in an unassuming location that provides some excellent products. It is certainly worth your time to visit.

One time my parents and I came here after dinner for their gelato, and it was so delicious. We were all very impressed with the consistency and how smooth it was. So I've only had their gelato after all these years. This time I came for brunch with a friend on Sunday morning. It was packed and we got on the waiting list for a table. Wait time wasn't too bad actually. My friend and I both ordered the Hodgepodge Hash and I subbed the sausage for chicken sausage. Everything was absolutely amazing. I wish I had come here sooner. I loved everything about my meal. It was flavorful, dynamic, full of texture. It had that spice from the serrano peppers, crispy and flavorful potatoes, and the sauce tied it all together. I love savory breakfast, and that was it. Now I'm hungry and missing my previous meal just writing about it haha. Afterwards, we got gelato! I was pleasantly surprised that the gelato came with two scoops because I originally just wanted the coffee flavored one. So I had a scoop of Coffee + Cream and Pistachio. Our gelato was so tasty. I love anything coffee so this one was good, and the Pistachio one was nice and light. It had a subtle Pistachio creamy taste. Just as before, the gelato was smooth, creamy, and full of flavor. Service was great, our waiter was very friendly and super helpful with our food preferences. I have no complaints at all about our experience, and I love every single thing we ordered. I can't imagine a better place to spend Sunday brunch. I look forward to the next time I'm back, thank you!

Please take this review with a grain of salt. Today was probably not an exemplary day for Milk &…read moreHoney. Mother's Days are challenging, but I think where they hurt themselves the most is that they do not have a method to take reservations or even call ahead seating. Wait times were often in excess of an hour listening to other people waiting to be seated. That's a horrible experience on its face, and the management of this restaurant needs to do much much better or just close on Mother's Day. Next, we'll get to the food. I doubt it was a shining example of what they are capable of. I got the Shakshuka and it was mediocre. I'm not expecting it to be as good as what I would get in Tel Aviv, and I've had the real thing in Tel Aviv. But to be honest, the eggs came out nearly hard-boiled not poached. And the eggs are one of the stars of the show for this dish. If you don't get them right, the entire dish fails. Next will touch on the chicken and waffles. The observation from my tablemate was that it was dry and he didn't even eat it all. The same thing can be said for my other tablemate who had the chicken biscuit. The biscuit was exemplary, but the chicken was dry and actually overcooked. Then there were the omelettes, I don't believe they were impressive in any way and the people that ordered them agree. For those of us at the table that ordered coffee, it was rather strong. I normally like strong coffee, but this was borderline Turkish coffee, and there wasn't enough cream available to mask the potency. The service was also stretched thin. Our server, Destiny, did her best, but she was waiting too many tables. Having once been a waitermyself I have a special affinity for Service staff who are asked to do too much. We left her a good tip, but I'm sure she is capable of much better service than what she was allowed to deliver. Finally, the overwhelming crowd made the restaurant feel claustrophobic. The noise level was far too high, and we could barely hear one another at our table and we were sitting very close to one another. I don't place the blame on the kitchen, staff, or the wait staff, or even the greeters. This was a fail of management, plain and simple. They made no contingency plans for that many people and should have anticipated a larger crowd on Mother's Day. Management -I challenge you to do better!!! We will come back during a normal Service day to see if you can perform better, but I encourage you, as owners and managers, to stop setting your staff up for failure, which is what you did!

The biscuit was very good and there was a big piece of egg and lots of cheese. I'll admit I burnt my mouth eating it too fast.
