We had a double suite with one large room and one small room with a shared bathroom. Beautiful decor, clean and spacious. After we checked out, they let us store our luggage in the front until it was time for us to leave. Good for peace of mind while in transit.

Cesky-Krumlov was our last destination during a month-long drive through six European countries. We did considerable online research for accommodations and were totally pleased with our experience at Hotel Dvorak. Our relatively spacious 2nd-floor room overlooked the river and offered a beautiful postcard view from our window. The facilities are quaint with a welcoming B&B feel. Bathrooms are large and modern. Bedding was comfortable and the period furnishings add a nice feel. In-room WiFi worked flawlessly. Offsite parking is a bit odd, but necessary to preserve the town's pedestrian ambiance. Taxi service to & from parking was provided by the hotel. Our car remained parked at the nearby Eggenberg Brewery (established 1560) parking lot for a modest daily fee. Pretty much everything worth seeing in town is within a reasonable walk from the hotel. We rarely dine at hotels, but in this case we ate one lunch, and three dinners at this excellent hotel restaurant. Absolutely marvelous traditional food (try the pork knuckle... enough for two). There is some inside seating, but mostly covered patio dining -- just lovely when the weather is nice. The hotel staff are warm and friendly and the tableside service is wonderful. Many thanks to Mirka at the front desk -- she was most helpful on several occasions. Hotel Dvorak is THE place to stay in this remarkable and picturesque small town. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Highly recommended.

Our room was spacious and nicely appointed with one powerful shower. Great water pressure! Our $130 first floor room overlooked the street behind the hotel, which meant some early morning loud deliveries. You will hear traffic, chatter, and lorries delivering kegs. You might consider requesting a higher floor or a room racing the front of the hotel. Only other concern was the room temperature. We had the radiators turned down to "zero" but our room was consistently too hot. We had to open the windows, which made the room noisier. It was a balance. The free breakfast each morning was super impressive and is served in a beautiful dining room overlooking the Square. Breakfast is 7-10, end firmly at 10:00 am. We would stay here again.

I would forgive the rice, it's not offensive, even though the classic version should be served with noodles. While not in the city center, it's quiet and the city is accessed with a 15 minute walk. Did I mention the view? Be prepared to walk steep slopes to get to and from the old city. The location is next to the castle garden. Freshly remodeled with a nice kitchen. Had some troubles with Internet connectivity with more than two devices connected. Breakfast is a normal European brunch buffet with hard boiled eggs, cold cuts and cheese. Coffee was weak.
