It's not the nicest of establishments that I have seen and this can put some people off but because they have been around for years now you would have to imagine the locals know best as they keep them open. I wasn't sure with my battered sausage and customary saveloy on the side as they weren't very good. However, the chips were lovely and so were the mushy peas and gravy so I guess it depends what you go for.

Where else would you get that right in front of the sea!!!! The food, they have cake, traditional fish and chips and pizza. I can only comment on the fish and chips(and cake) and have nothing negative to say about them. Service is prompt. Be aware though it is popular and can be very busy so if I'm doubt book a table and do your best to arrive on time. There is limited seating outside facing the sea. This is a nice back drop for a meeting, weather dependant!! I visit the perch when I'm in the area and can and do recommend it.

Delightful staff, which is equalled by the excellent food. A very comprehensive menu with so many combinations. Excellent wine choice available, and they do a really good coffee. The fish is done in the lightest and tastiest of batter, and the chips...golden, lightly moist and cooked right through. Im certain they have been here for a good few years now so they know how to do good food as if they didn't they would have been found out by now. I am a bit fan of Chinese Curries as you can have them with special fried rice which is one of my favourite foods on the planet. They do this really well so this may make me slightly biased but most of the other items are pretty good from feedback from friends. Prices a low and seeing as how they have to different types of food here you can mix and match so that all people who do not like foreign foods, get with the times, can have a meal without having to mess around going to different places.
