The dresses are made to measure by an in-house designer so you won't find many brides with the same dress as you! The dresses are affordable and very good quality. I got the dress in about 10 weeks and didn't need any alternations. My wedding dress even more beautiful that I expected it to be, so I was very pleased with the whole experience. Everybody loved the dress at my wedding! I really recommend this small but very good shop.

I fell in love with a dress this…read moresummer and it was sent away to be made up (4 months) - when it returned the dress was nice but after i had paid i spied the original dress that was hanging right at the back well hidden and saw that actually it was really different! the amount of beads and lace on my dress was about 20% on the original- obvioulsy made with cheaper material. In addition the charges for extra altrations were a waste of money as nothing actually changed! the day before the wedding i had to get someone else to do it. All in all a nice shop but they've got real problems with consistency in alterations and quality issues with there suppliers. I've heard some good reviews for this place too so there is obvious inconsistency with service but would you risk it for your wedding day? my day went great but in the back of my mind i always had the dissapointment that my dress wasnt how it should have been.

Very helpful in assessing the dresses you try on which are based on your score of dress, they listen to reasons for score and suggest other dresses to try on. They picked out my perfect dress in this way. My advice would be make an appointment as they seem to be very busy, always a good sign. Lots of thank you cards in the shop from happy customers. Today was my first and only shopping experience for my wedding dress, and I wanted the perfect dress. I went in with an idea of the dress I wanted and the bridal path stocked it, I tried it on and fell in love. However Amy (the lady in the bridal boutique) said I should try on others I might surprise myself. Boy was she right, I tried on dresses I thought I would dislike massively and they soon became the front runner. I then was undecided with two types of dresses and the girls came up with a "wildcard" as they called it. At this point I thought I don't know what I like I'm going to have to think about it. Well the wildcard won me over I felt like such a princess and it's the most perfect dress ever! I ordered it there and then and honestly cannot fault any part of the experience. The girls treat you so personally, they aren't pushy and couldn't be more friendly if they tried! We turned up without an appointment and they kindly squeezed us in. There is a smaller choice of dresses than a lot of other places but they are all gorgeous. The inside reminded me of Alice in Wonderland with lovely furniture and accessories everywhere. The lady who owns it makes the dresses and I was so happy and excited to see the 'made in manchester' tags on everything. They also have some really lovely shoes, veils and vintage style headbands to choose from. I tried on about 5 dresses and they were all lovely. They literally make the dress to tie measurements rather than you ordering a size and getting it adjusted. The prices are average for wedding dresses (£1200-1400 for the one I liked). The lead time is around 5,5 months at the moment to get a dress made. The lady who helped us was so friendly and really made the experience wonderful. I can't sit to go with a proper appointment to try on more dresses.

A very upsetting experience I'm afraid; I bought a bolero jacket which turned out to be faulty, a…read morefact which the owner would not acknowledge. I blame myself ( and so did the owner incidentally) for not checking it closely before the wedding day; it needed the collar either starching and pressing or stitching so that it sat correctly, as it was it was uneven and looked awful. I returned the item after the wedding feeling very upset and let down. Sadly the owner didn't bother to contact the manufacturer about the fault (which was clear on all of the photos), nor would she admit that anything was wrong with the jacket, although everyone else could see that t clearly was faulty and in fact, quite poor quality for £70. When I later re tried the jacket (which I left with her after my complaint) it miraculously appeared to have had the fault partly corrected, although this was denied. I didn't even want my money back (and I haven't got it, as I preferred to keep the item and contact the manufacturer myself). I would have preferred that the owner had shown some honesty and integrity. To be fair, the owner was pleasant when we initially visited the shop and made myself and my friends feel welcome; but poor quality goods and in our opinion, an uncaring and dishonest approach was a very upsetting experience in the end. When I pointed out that I had not yet written a review she actually pointed at me and accused me of threatening her; I left the shop with no refund and a jacket which appeared to have been tampered with. A very unfortunate experience overall.

A good place to try on lots of dresses and grab a bargain!…read more This is a warehouse style wedding dress shop. You don't need an appointment, just turn up when they are open and ring the bell. You are given 4 rings and simply put them around the hangers of the dresses you like. You can then try on those 4 before going back out to choose another 4. The dresses are samples from shops so they generally only have 1 in each size and when they sell they are gone so be aware of this if you fall in love with one! It was moderately busy for 1130 on a Saturday. We got a changing room straight away though. One of the assistants helps you out when you get changed then she kindly suggested some dresses she thought would suit me as well and went to get them. They had some stunning things in my size. You are possibly a size bigger than normal here so beware when choosing! I could have happily bought 2 of the ones I tried on. The lady also helped me try on matching veils. Again I can't wait to go back and try on more dresses here.
