Arya has always been camera shy and slightly anxious, so I was super worried we wouldn't be able to get any good shots or she would be a frustrating pet to work with, but Michaela was amazing at directing and had all the tricks (and treats!) to get those picture perfect angles. She also offered the utmost patience and did not mind spending multiple tries to get one shot, and ultimately made it a fun, happy, and calming experience where our pup just ended up having a super fun day of cuddles and play! And it did not stop there! The photo reveal session had me sobbing! The photos were so beautiful, were composed into in the most thoughtful presentation, and Michaela was so supportive helping us take the time to decide which photos we ultimately loved best for print. She was also super open to feedback and edit requests when it came to the composition of the album we got -- letting us customize the binding and outside book cover, as well as page layout. Most of all, I cannot share just how amazing Michaela was to us as a person! Right away from reading her website, I knew she was awesome (read it for yourself and see - it's sweet!). When we talked on the phone I explained my vision and she was more than willing to make it happen. She asked what kind of photos I wanted (one of the dogs running, one of them sitting, one of them with me, etc). When she showed up in person, it was so impressive that she memorized exactly the kind of photos I wanted. Her energy and vibes were amazing and calm. I hired Micheala for both family photos as well as lifestyle images for my small business.
