I left town without my computer that very night, and I was itching ever since to get online and see what she had captured on film. I got back just a few hours ago and checked; o my god. Really. I was there, right next to her, as she snapped away, but I can tell you that I didn't see the magic that she captured. Somehow, she captured the essence of the dogs. She got their personalities, she got their spirits, she got the very core of who they are. I'm not just talking about my own dogs; she did get some incredible shots of my own two, but I'm biased maybe a little. The other dogs came through in her film as pure and true to life as if they were living right there in the picture (Harry Potter style!) Tammy's calm and gentle persona allowed the dogs to be who they are, with very little prompting from her. It's hard to take photos with dogs; they don't exactly say cheese or understand "3..2...1" countdowns. Somehow, with skill and with the great love of dogs, Tammy makes it happen. Her blog is beautiful, and I have no doubts about her ability to get you the very best picture of your very best friend that you could possible hope for.

"We bought a photography package at a charity event we attended for Debora's services valued at…read more$1250. Understanding that she donated this package we gave her the benefit of the doubt in the name of charity but ultimately were still left with a horrible experience. It was clear we were her lowest priority clients and each time we showed up at her studio she was unprepared and had conveniently had some technical issue as an excuse. Our planning session felt more like a timeshare pitch trying to get us to buy sets of portraits and canvas prints. When we politely declined on those items our session was thrown together for Sunset at Scripps pier... which was fine with us. On the day of the photo shoot Debora was over 30 minutes late... which is rather important as we cannot reschedule the sunset. This resulted in little to no instruction before getting started, the entire time we did not know what was going on and felt rushed as we started late. For the final review of the photos, there was another technical issue that caused her to hastily throw the photos together for us to pick from. During this session we reaffirmed that we were not interested in printed forms but more the digital copies. She then told us for the first time that digital copies were a separate package and an additional $1500 for 6 photos. She also told us that we had 1 week to make up our mind to order any prints or digital copies of the photos before she deleted them for good. It honestly felt like she was holding our photos ransom for more money. After reconfirming we just wanted the digital photos Debora sent us an email saying she had "miscommunicated along the way" and maybe we should "find a digital photographer who is a better fit for our needs." She is now not answering our phone calls or emails despite a standing $400 credit we have with her and has not sent us one single photo she took of us... the photos were decent which is the only reason for the 2 star rating. As someone who has bought a lot of items at charity events I am understanding of the economics behind a business donating their time but to spend over $1000 and hours of our time and not even get a single photo has left us feeling scammed."
