Since I was a tourist, I didn't schedule an appointment and inquired if I could get it fixed relatively quickly. The dental assistant at the front desk was friendly and was quick in offering to find out what the cost would be for me since I don't have insurance in Australia. Since it wasn't too busy at the time I went in, the dentist, Dr. Dong, was able to see me immediately. He was careful in assessing where the problem area was and grinded my retainer down to make it much more comfortable for me. Pretty swift for a relatively young dentist! He wasn't a chatty Cathy, which I appreciate, but was friendly in asking me how I was, how I've been enjoying Sydney, etc. The assistant who aided him in the room was also nice and professional. The clinic itself was nice and clean, and the waiting space is tastefully decorated. There are even some toys for kids to play with! The actual room I was in had a TV up on the ceiling for me to watch the news; nice touch to distract patients or at least calm them down a bit!

Then you can't change the appointment within 24 hours of it, so you're stuck if you didn't read all the terms and conditions. Their bizarre way around this is you have to pay a 200 dollar deposit and come back when you have your physical card, and then getting the refund of the deposit is like getting blood out of a stone. I had half an hour of waiting and waiting as the receptionist was unable to process their claim or refund me, after having gone to their clinic in their advertised opening times three times. This is why I left and asked for my card back, because I don't have the time for that. They then wanted me to come back and sort this out, but they threatened that they would not refund the 200 dollar deposit unless I removed my google review. See the document that they wanted me to sign on google. I said I would not remove the review and I would update it with this conversation and the letter, the owner called me mean and defamatory, kept saying that it was a gift he was trying to give me when the offer is clearly advertised that it is no gap, and they were paid in full by my health fund $325.75, which is HIGHER than they charge non health fund patients. They also advertise themselves on my health fund as a "choice network" dentist, but this is misleading, as they dont remove or reduce the gap on all preventative dental visits, only the first one. This is the first of their many disingenous statements, misleading comments, or bald face lying in their response on google. It is a bizarre place where they take close up pictures of your teeth and show you all minor blemishes completely unnecessarily, in the hope to upsell you to cosmetic dentistry. It is a horrible experience for the patient. They have a reply on google which is completely inaccurate and defamatory. They never once said they would refund the deposit and have no payment at all. The photo evidence is right there in the google review. Please note my health fund paid a total of 325.75, when they offer this for 200 dollars without a health fund. So them saying they gave me a gift again and again is really disingenuous. Their prices are much more expensive than comparable dentists I have been to, and the experience was bizarre, hurtful, stressful, and downright degrading. Also they say they are open until 7pm but they weren't a few times when I tried to sort this out. They called me 3 times when I was at work to try and get me to physically come back to settle the claim, refusing to stay until their advertised opening time. They harassed me, as I said not to contact me again. They threatened me with not refunding the refundable deposit unless I removed the review and they are completely lying about any yelling or slamming the door in their reply. Their door is heavy and is loud on its own. The receptionist agreed I didn't yell. I did not go around the receptionists desk, the letter of their blackmail was right there in front of me, it was shown to me. The owner called me mean for not removing this accurate review, not for yelling or any other defamatory things they have said in their reply. They called me another three times the next day, including twice when I was preparing for an imminent job interview. They like to call multiple times again and again. They wanted my bank account number when the refund was agreed to be processed to the card, and they said it already was. So that part of their reply is completely inaccurate too. The health fund were shocked and will be investigating their disingenuous membership of the choice network, and I will report this experience to AHPRA or other regulators. They called me many things in their google review reply which are simply not true, and it has made me want to consider defamation proceedings. Even minor things like saying they asked for my bank details in person. They said it would be refunded to the card. They blatantly lie to try and cover up what a completely ridiculous situation this was and still is. Thanks for ruining my week.

I still shake my head in disbelief when I walk past this dentists. I went there some years ago for…read morea check-up. It's a swish practice, expensive furnishings and gorgeous smiles from the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out...in my case in shock. I was eased gently through the process. A peer in here. An X-ray there. "Ah yes, a few fillings needed. I'll just write up a treatment plan." It was at this point my eyes left my body in the style of Roadrunner. Nearly $6,000 worth of recommended treatment! I was told that my health fund would contribute to some of the cost but unfortunately this turned out to be at the bare minimum. I quivered with fear. What about dentures? Can I just get rid of them all?! I ended up paying several hundred dollars for the initial consultation, x-rays and clean. I still wonder if other patients happily pay that amount or if it wasn't just a bad dream. I certainly couldn't afford their proposed plan and ended up getting my teeth treated by HCF for a measly $95 out of pocket! Granted I didn't get a complimentary apple in reception or get to watch a plasma tv whilst I reclined but given the savings I could install my own TV on the ceiling at home and have an apple a day for many years to come. Sorry but I won't be helping contribute to the boat featured in their branding!

As I recently ordered a whitening package with them (at home, yet to try - I have just picked the kit up), I was given some tooth moose to bring extra love and care to my teeth. Looking forward to trying the whitening. If you buy an at home tooth whitening system with them, it will last you virtually forever, depending on you. They promise you a free tooth whitening syringe with every dental hygiene appointment bi-annually. They pe-warn you not to drink red wine etc, no dark foods for up to two weeks after each whitening application. The syringes need to be kept in the fridge. Great moulds too. Great goodies for the teeth provided as well. The practice manager is lovely. They had my contact details down incorrectly initially, yet they changed that in a jiffy.
