Buy A Toyota and stay out of the service bay.

Hello everyone. I hope this review/comment will help other folks that might be asked to purchase an extended service contract here at BMW of Mt. Laurel, NJ. - RT 70 .... Owned by the Holman Group. I'll start by stating that over the years I've purchased maintenance contracts from Toyota for my Runner, MB for my E550 and Lexus for my ES... The ones that come with oil changes and whatnot .,.. Purchased an X3 from this dealership along with 5 years , 60K mile maintenance contract for something like $2,700. They need to make money somewhere these days because dealers are starving. I traded the X3 about 88 days after ownership. Did not really care for the car overall. Not that it wouldn't be 'ok' for others... Just not me... Here is the amazing part. BMW of Mt Laruel (Holman Co. ) is stating that this is NOT refundable... It follows the car. Possibly this is the policy, I never have ever seen or be told this before - ever. Ethics are at play... You would like me to be a customer in the future, my wife, my cousin - The 45k people I work with. The dealerships need all the revenue they can I suppose. My Question please to other BMW owners. Is this the case with BMW extended maintenance plans. Did anyone ever buy a certified BMW and was told the previous owner gave you a gift and you have free maintenance? I might be Italian and look stupid. Most consumers would just go away I guess. Like insurance companies do to us.... Say no enough and they go away.

After spending over a month researching used cars, I can definitely prove that Mt. Laurel BMW is one of the best, most transparent and honest car dealerships in the tristate area. 99% of dealerships selling used cars lie about the price by hiding thousands of dollars of fees. Some of the most outrageous fees that dealers tried to charge include $995 conditioning & prep fee, $1,995 cost reduction fee, and $5,895 pre-owned certification fee, just to name a few. Mt. Laurel BMW has only one fee, which is a document prep fee of $499, which they list on their website next to the price of every car listed. They're also a no haggle dealership, so there's no worry about not getting the best price or having to negotiate with a car salesman. I always hated the phony routine where the salesmen pretended to go to his manager with your offer to "see what he could do for you". So bogus! Not here! They have the largest selection of used BMWs that I found within 100 miles with a wide range of price points and equipment options. Yes haven't used their service yet but I plan to and will update this review. I highly recommend this dealership if you're in the market for a new or used BMW.

It was the most terrible experience that I ever had with the car dealers. On Saturday 14th I called them about the Audi Allroad A4 that they posted a few days ago on their website. Darnell Lacey, probably the "salesperson" confirmed that the car is available to take a look at. So I told him OK, I'll be today and I'll be coming from Brooklyn with my friend. During the drive, I called him again and gave him an ETA. He confirmed that everything is OK. When I showed up in the BMW of Mt. Laurel a few hours later Mr. Darnel told me that, you know, the car is NOT AVAILABLE!!! and there is no way to take a look at it today. Why? Because it was taken to the Audi dealer to change the oil. (Are their own mechanics so unqualified to not be able to change the oil in Audi A4... But what is for sure - sale persons aren't able to make sure the car is in the parking lot before confirming its availability.) So, basically, he told me I have just wasted my whole day and 90$ for gas and tolls. "Thank you" BMW of Mt. Laurel. Ok, I told him, that sh*t happens and asked when will be possible to take a look at it. He told me - on Monday or Tuesday. On Monday I texted him and he told that the car will be available on Wednesday. On Tuesday he confirmed the car's availability on Wednesday morning. So, I freed up my Wednesday from work and as you can expect - a few hours later he texted me again to let me know that the car was SOLD. Somebody put in a deposit without even seeing the 10-year-old car... Thanks a LOT! I have a deep feeling that the car was just being held for somebody else... PS. Just letting you guys know, that I've bought the domain bmwofmtlaurel-review.com and I'm going to put there this negative review and maybe others. I also will put all my SEO skills to make sure that everyone who searches Google for "BMW of Mt. Laurel REVIEW" will see this website as well as yours. I hope it will help your potential customers be better aware of the level of service they have to expect from you. Best regards,

Our new Used BMW that is like new and Perfect from Eric Decker. Worth the 6 hour drive from Buffalo!

I found a vehicle on the BMW vehicle locator website we liked and that was very similar to my wife's current leased vehicle. That is a great search system and you can list the model, year, every option, mileage, color, that you want. I Contacted the dealership by email and stressed we are coming in fro 6 hours away and only wanted a spotless vehicle. The dealership put us in touch with a seasoned salesman Eric Decker who said the car is so clean I could put it on the shower room floor. We showed up and yes the car was spotless. A few negatives not a huge deal we had arranged to show up between 2:00 and 300 and we walked in at 2:00 and sat around for about an hour to hour and a half before anything began. They were busy well I think Eric was busy other people not so much. He is a great salesman! The dealership charges a $430 document prep fee, what is that its a junk fee that is just profit for the dealership. Had we not loved the vehicle and if it was not the exact car we wanted with low miles I would of had an issue with this. We would have no issue dealing with Eric and Mount Laurel BMW again!

This dealership underperformed on delivering a great Mini purchase experience (and this is my third…read moreMini as I love the car). i just purchased a new 2025 Mini Cooper from the Mini of Mount Laurel dealership and they: 1. Did not ensure that a rubber mat was in the trunk (as agreed to at signing), and when they called me that the car had arrived, I asked if the mats were inside the vehicle and trunk before driving almost 3-hours to pick the car up and they said "Yes". When I picked up the car, the mat was not in the trunk and the sales person indicated he didn't even remember that I had even requested them (which is funny as there were mats in the car but not the trunk) and the manager initially had been called over to guarantee the deal in the first place. The sales person (who isn't even there any more in sales) said he would have to order a mat through the parts department but gave no time of when it might be in. When I followed up on the phone in November with getting a trunk mat, sales indicated they couldn't get one in for a few weeks or even months. I then called another Mini Cooper dealership and they had one ordered and available in one day as they told me when the cars come into the New Jersey Port that's when the mats are put in the vehicles. 2. I was told by the Finance Department upon signing the paperwork that I had to make a decision before driving off the lot regarding getting an extended warranty through Mini or "The Mechanic". So I paid almost $5,000 on October 31 for the extended warranty. After I got home I made calls to 2 competitor Mini dealerships and discovered that you don't have to purchase the extended warranty before driving off the lot so on November 4 I canceled the policy. However: Finance told me in order to cancel the extended warranty I had to go to their own company owned website, log in a password and enter the VIN (which I did). Noticed on the website that it will take 4-6 weeks to get the refund (as I didn't opt to pay $125.00 to expedite a refund). I was also told by Finance that I could check on the status of the refund, but when I went back onto the website there was no way to get an update or even contact a real person. It's now December 6 and I have yet to receive the refund when all they had to do was credit back my refund to my American Express card that I initially used to pay for the extended warranty rather than make me have to follow-up. Bottom Line: Think twice before purchasing from the Mini of Mount Laurel dealership as they don't deliver on an honest and upfront customer experience which Mini has always been known for. Should you want to avoid all this unnecessary time and drama cleaning up issues that didn't even have to happen in the first place, and want an honest and efficient Mini dealership that treats their customer with respect I can highly recommend Mini of Annapolis as they were the ones to get the trunk mat for me in 1-day. It's time to put the customer first again before profits!

I came in for service because my car was showing a "malfunctioning taillight" warning on the…read moredashboard. After going to my local auto shop, I decided I better have this looked at by a Mini dealer since it was going to require genuine MINI parts. I really like the setup of this dealership but I find their sales staff to be mediocre. When I was originally shopping for my MINI they tried to pressure sell me a used car with prior accident damage and were less than upfront about it. I do like the inside of this place. It is decorated well and the waiting area is a comfortable place to spend time with lots of free snacks and drinks. As for my service visit, it ended up costing north of $500 to get the taillight assembly replaced (apparently this is a common issue with these cars). Most of this was labor costs and I am sure I could have gotten this done much cheaper elsewhere. Classic "stealership" stuff.. One silver lining was that the service rep, Andy, was super helpful and friendly. Eventhough he did try to sell me $2000 of service that I didn't want or need, he was not pushy and made the experience better than it would have been. Plus one star for him. With that said, I will not come back if I can help it.
