I loved my process during the one day wheel experience and decided to take their 4 week wheel classes. I mostly learned from their staff Danielle and she was an excellent teacher! One day wheel experience - $48 per person - perfect friend hangout or date activity! - make 1 piece on the wheel with expert staff guidance with options to make 1 more piece on your own - paint your piece with engobes paint and pick up your piece after a few weeks! 4 week classes - $200 total- such a good deal! Weekly 1 hr classes that includes all supplies, glazes and firing - make atleast 2 pieces depending on how your skills progress throughout the classes. I made 6 pieces but only took home 4! - I was a beginner so Danielle focused on throwing cylinders. However I wish there could be more variety in throwing different shapes- like a bowl - I learned so much from each class from wedging clay, centering, making even walls, trimming, making and attaching handles I loved my experience here and I'll be back to utilize their studio space for wheel throwing as well as glaze some of their premade pieces

After the 2 hour mark, the music playlist went on repeat, and I don't think she noticed. I must say the playlist was fire! Age appropriate for women over 40. Dump the garbage in the bathroom also. Out painting was a wine bottle with the word vino. The teacher admitted she didn't know what vino meant. That is embarrassing. Who doesn't know what vino is, and if not, why not hit Google.

My mom and I ended up becoming so focused on our painting, but really appreciated the ambiance and enthusiasm from the team. Once we were done and ready to go, the ladies offered to take the cutest pictures of us with our finished paintings! My mom and I never had an experience like this and we honestly can't wait to go back! From what I remember, this place offers the opportunity to book private events with your friends/family, and do much more than just painting canvases (although I had a great time doing this!!). They also offer the opportunity to paint sneakers, tote bags, do tie dye, etc. for such a good price per person! When we arrived for the 6:15 PM session, the instructor told us there was no space available and instructed us to come back at 7:30 PM. We specifically asked about our 6:15 tickets, and we were told they would be honored at the 7:30 PM session. When we returned at 7:30 PM, we were treated very rudely and told that they could not accommodate us. What was even more frustrating was seeing that they were allowing people in who did not have tickets at all, while refusing to honor the tickets we had already purchased and were specifically told would be honored at 7:30. We came expecting to have a fun girls' night and instead spent the evening dealing with poor communication, disorganization, and extremely disappointing customer service. If you have tickets for specific time slots, your customers should be able to rely on those tickets. And if your staff tells customers to return at another time and promises their tickets will be honored, that promise should be kept. I would not recommend Paint Noir Art Lounge, and after this experience, I will not be supporting this business again.

This is our 3rd Activate location... been a few times to American dream, and also Canada (from…read morewhere it originates). Its a really fun option for families and/or friends. We prefer this to other activities like escape rooms, arcades, etc. Really great for working together or competing! And since there are levels, it should be fine for kids to teens to adults to seniors! This is a solid option, we we will be coming here in future instead of American dream. Free parking, and also better food options in the area. We came on opening day because opening weekend was 50% off. It was crowded (Saturday night)... more on that later. There seems to be more rooms than American dream which is nice. Also the staff here are great, really helpful. Lots of parking outside (the thing I hate most about American dream is having to pay for parking). Unfortunately it was so packed that we barely got to do 2 consecutive events in a room, since each time there is someone waiting. So we blew a lot of time changing rooms/ waiting. This will probably get better as the hype dies down, and also at an off peak time.
