First off - mobility scooter accessible and friendly. Food , service, and ambiance is fantastic! If I lived here I would be a regular. The food portions were shareable. The most unique food presentations. We had a little of all of it- the burrito was the simplest to omelet- then the berries stuffed pancakes were pure sin!! Delicious! Another tried the solo board and it was definitely shareable. So fun and great. Simple decor- the focus is food and drinks! Family ran business keeping a focus on great food and fantastic service.

Very nice staff we went in around 8 am Thursday and were seated right away. Nice set up outdoor seating is optional. Food was incredible I got the savory pancakes name was simply the best way to describe this dish. Good portions very satisfying.

Lovely spot for huge portions of food and amazing service! We ordered a sugar waffle, chicken and waffle, veggie burrito with bacon and chicken apple sausage omelet and everything was tasty and delicious. Only in town for two days so we packaged all our leftovers to share with the unhoused so that food didn't go to waste. Dirty matcha latte was on point as well. Best part was the service - crew clearly liked each other and shared that with their diners. Felt like we were eating in someone's house. Definitely not what I expected so close to touristy Fisherman's Wharf and the waterfront.

Yummy breakfast. Stopped in to Board and Drink with my family of 6. Even though we didn't order a board (hence the name), I thought the concept was great and those boards looked delicious. It's like a charcuterie for breakfast and they have boards that feed up to 4 people. We went on a beautiful Sunday morning, so we were expecting a wait. This place is busy and it's not too big, so if you have a larger party, prepare to wait. There's no inside waiting, you will be waiting on the sidewalk. Theres about 4 tables located right outside (where we sat) and the sidewalk isn't too big, so you are close to people walking by. Once we were seated the staff was quick and attentive. We ordered immediately, but there was a bit of a wait before our food arrived. One thing to note, they do not have a kids menu, if you have little ones or not big eaters, they could probably split a meal. This is what I will do next time. All three of my kids ordered pancakes and they were delicious. They are served with berry butter and they are a pretty good size. Flavorful and fluffy. We also ordered the bacon omelet and two orders of bacon and eggs, one scrambled and one with eggs over medium. The meals are served with country potatoes or tater tots. Get the potatoes! They were the winner for me. Very good. They also give you a good amount of bacon. 4 nice size pieces as well as your choice of wheat or sourdough toast. Of course I snuck some of my kids berry butter for my toast:-) The bacon omelet was nice and fluffy and filled with meat (bacon) it wasn't like the omelets where you have to go in search of the meat. If I were to return with my family, I would think of splitting plates. Though everything was delicious, the prices were up there. I believe this is normal prices for SF. Our bill for our party was $170. This included gratuity which is added for parties of 4 or more. I believe it was $18%. The servers were constantly checking on us and filling our water. We did not try any of their cocktails, but I will when we return because they had a pretty good looking espresso martini.

Stopped by on a Monday afternoon. There was no wait and we were seated right away. The staff were so nice and welcoming. :) I got a omelette and my partner got the banana French toast. Both were sooo delish! also for drinks we got the hazelnut latte with almond milk and banana matcha (it has banana pudding on top!!!) both were soooo good. Everything tasted so fresh and I just loved the vibe in there. I overheard them saying they make all their syrups and purées for their drinks. Love that. Can't wait to go back!

Sweet board with waffle and french toast. So much breakfast!

This place is awesome! My friend and I got the sweet board with waffles and French toast and everything on it was perfect. Great flavor, well prepared, and beautifully presented. We also added the garlic herb potatoes and had no regrets. This board could definitely feed 3-4 people but the 2 of us conquered it and weren't hungry again until the next day. We sat outside and there are a few nice tables inside. It's pretty basic as far as decor/ambiance but makes up for it with great food and really cool staff. I also got the banana pudding matcha and each component was good but they didn't really mix.

Very cute breakfast spot! Americanos were great! Hubby loved the chicken and waffles and I enjoyed the eggs, bacon and potatoes! Service top notch and friendly. Small place but very efficient. No reservations so come early or be prepared to wait 20-30 mins. We are twice here on our 2 night stay.

WOW. This might be the best breakfast experience I've ever had. The food didn't just look incredible -- the flavors somehow topped the presentation. Service was flawless. My grandson dropped his fork and before I could even open my mouth, someone was already there with a replacement. That kind of attentiveness sets a tone. The coffee was excellent, and the Sweet Board for Two was a showstopper: French toast, waffles, eggs, bacon, an unbelievable sausage, and a mountain of fresh fruit. Every item felt intentional and generous. And then the price... easily the biggest surprise of the morning. I'm already planning what I'm ordering tomorrow.

Went for a birthday brunch during Super Bowl week. Pros: best pancakes I've ever had! Food was great Cons: partner had a mocktail literally the same price as the alcoholic version (Bloody Mary). It was off menu so we didn't know until the bill came. I would definitely return!

This place is small but MAN IS IT GOOD!! The service was so efficient, everyone worked together so well! I just love how everything flowed here. I got the banana pudding matcha, brioche berry French toast, potatoes and eggs! So so good, amazing flavor! Even their butter and whipped cream was so delicious!! Big portions so definitely a good sharing size for things. Everlasting flavor and mannerisms!

When you check multiple sites and you find a place with thousands of reviews and all are 4.5-5 stars you don't think about it you go and check it out. It's a good sign...sometimes...when you visit a place and there is a line outside of the door. This is what I first saw. There is nothing sexy about the interior of this place so don't think you're going to get the warm and fuzzy feeling with the ambiance. Now let's talk food. Tip: share. The portions are gi-normous and you likely won't finish it all. The food is delicious, and perfectly made. The coffee is just average, but wasn't bad. I recommend the fried banana French thank you. And be careful when you order your bill could easily get over $100 for breakfast. When in San Fran visit Board & Drink.

My best bite in San Francisco!! Everything was fresh, and so so phenomenal. Owner is so passionate about the food they are serving and it shows. The menu featured limited time offerings that showcase what is in season. I highly recommend and will return on my next trip!

A rare brunch miss for me :/ I had high hopes for Board and Drink and really liked the ambiance -- it's located on an inconspicuous street close to Fisherman's wharf (but tucked away from the chaos!), and they have indoor and outdoor seating. But I think I ordered the wrong thing... I got the savory pancake and it was really not very tasty. It was a bit of a doughy cheddary scallion bacon mess and nothing really meshed together. I couldn't finish it. However my friend liked her omelette so I assume the other items might be better (the boards look more popular so I would get that maybe in future). The tater tots the dish came with were ok. Service was nice and it wasn't too busy on a nice Saturday morning. Willing to have my mind changed if I come back in the future!

I made a reservation via Yelp for 3 people on a Saturday at 11:15am. My table was ready on time and they seated me even though our full party was running late. I got the Omelette Fried Rice (4.5/5), that came with delicious sriracha bacon, and an okay salad on the side. For my drink, I got the strawberry matcha latte with oat milk (5/5), which was fantastic. It's on the sweeter side, which worked for me. It was fairly busy and a bit loud inside. The dining room is long and narrow but has a decent amount of seating. Service was good, and friendly.

A charming little bistro inspired by the Marlowe cows, I'm assuming, managed to stun us with several memorable dishes. The warm deviled eggs were an excellent start. Savory yet delicate enough to not weigh us down right at the beginning of our meal. The horseradish aioli wasn't for me, but I can see its appeal for a certain audience. You give me a Calabrian chili sauce and it's guaranteed to make me happy and this shrimp with sweet corn was no exception. Again, light but a punchy flavor that was enjoyable. I could go on and on about the different dishes we tried but the real standout of the night was the pork tenderloin with chorizo and peaches. The sweetness from the peaches somehow managed to enhance the flavor of the chorizo. This dish gives you a bold, savory and sweet bite all together but still won't have you feeling super heavy. The portion size is perfect. Im hoping to return soon for another exquisite meal.

I asked a passing waitress how long was the wait--(30 minutes she said confidently). I had ZERO faith in that estimate. I was wrong. About EVERYTHING. The Host was a genius. Our waitress was a royal. Her serving team was the Kentucky Derby of thoroughbreds racing to place the silverware, condiments, used dishes, and refilled coffee going. The food tasted Michelin level. I can SAY that because we had eaten dinner at an actual Michelin rated restaurant the night before. (No Yelp rating needed because they ABSOLUTELY deserved it= NARI) I had a FRIED French Toast BECAUSE it cannot sit waiting to be served. My daughter had Eggs Benedict and the granddaughter had fresh fruit, fresh squeezed OJ in an ADULT glass (because she is a Big Girl now). While we paid our tab we heard a woman scream "I'm giving this restaurant a ONE STAARR REVIEW on YELP because of this WAIT!!!" OMG I thought someone had been ROBBED--but..on THIS Mother's DAY..it was only a spoiled young lady with poor manners. For me...now at a point in life that WAITING anywhere for anything is a PERCENTAGE of TIME I have LEFT to live...this breakfast was easily worth the time that it cost in human terms. Go any time you got a Mom, Grandma, Dad, offspring, first date or best friend you want to share a moment in time with early in the day over food and drink. No waiting worth mentioning. Thanks

We waited about 30-40 minutes on a Sunday, which was understandable given how busy and well-known the restaurant is. One thing that confused us was the ordering process. I initially wanted to order a particular dish (unfortunately I don't remember the name and for some reasons I don't have a picture of it), but one server told me they couldn't make it because they were missing some ingredients. Later, another server took the same order without any issues, and the dish arrived exactly as written in the menu. Since it was clearly available, I never understood why I was told otherwise in the first place. As for the food, it was good, but it didn't quite live up to our expectations. Having experienced Creole food in New Orleans, we felt the flavors there were more balanced and memorable. Here, our main dishes were a bit saltier than we would have liked, and overall the food didn't stand out enough to make us want to return. The atmosphere was pleasant, and I can understand why the restaurant is so popular. However, after visiting, I felt that some of the hype may be bigger than the actual experience. I'm glad we tried it, but if you're already familiar with Creole food from New Orleans, you may find it less impressive than expected.

I actually don't mind that- almost half the people were not around and it made the wait go faster. But I was a bit annoyed they sat us at a counter without asking- it was fine but we were expecting a table and would have probably rather wait a little longer for one. They only asked about inside vs outside and we said either was fine but no indication that we needed to mention we wanted a table. Most places seem to give you the heads up and make sure it was fine. Oh well. Everything sounded great and "The Plow" included 2 lemon ricotta pancakes, 2 eggs, pork sausage (you can also get chicken apple sausage links or bacon), and potatoes. The one nice thing of the counter is you get to watch them make everything and it is so organized and efficient. Food was solid. The wait went by pretty quick and wasn't a factor for me. I thought the pancakes were just okay- with all the hype I guess I expected them to be amazing but I honestly make better lemon ricotta pancakes (LOL). I think they needed a lot more lemon zest, maybe a touch of sugar, and the salted butter sounds great but added literally nothing. Maybe it was an off day and they weren't bad my any means but definitely nothing special. Similar thoughts on the pork sausage which was maybe slightly overcooked and the eggs which were a little under seasoned and I prefer mine a bit runnier. The potatoes were excellent, I liked those a lot and their hot sauce is very good too. $27 for the plate which seems a bit high but it's brunch in SF and it's nice they have the option to get the savory stuff but also a couple pancakes. And considering a single pancake is $7.50 it seems like a much better option to get the plate (overall all their sides are almost laughably priced ordered a la carte). I will say they use nice ingredients and a lot of the same producers I try to support in my own shopping/cooking as well as the same type of practice like pasture raised eggs. That in itself makes me feel good supporting them. I'd consider coming back but would request to sit outside and enjoy the vibes, definitely get something with potatoes, and maybe some hot sauce to go. Three and a half stars, I rounded up for now and will re-evaluate after another visit.
