She loves the aunties and loves the dogs they've accepted into their program. We worry about her constantly regardless but knowing she is taken such good care of eases some of that worry. She comes home exhausted but SO HAPPY! We love that there is low dog to auntie ratio and that there is an auntie there all night long in the room over. They are VERY responsive and understanding. We are very thankful to have found such a wonderful place.

After just 4 days in Tha Country Time pen, little B emerged straight catatonic (and not due to chronic this time). Thanks to Joe's patented brand of trauma-cum-neglect, Lil' B is malleable as a mf for the first time since he got his chestnuts roasted. After just 4 days of starvation, Lil' B has changed his persnickety tune and will now eat whatever nonsense I slap in his bowl, WHENEVER I slap it there. Nevertheless I must confess that I cannot determine why B-dawg was returned to me #eternallystenched (on some James Brown ish: truth) but I guess that's what happens when you forgo the Groom n' Doom upgrade. Probably won't bring B-dizzle back here---not because this dungeon is run by your boi Ed Gein, but because little Benji probably won't be alive to see my next wizard's convention.

Recently my cat Izzy ,who was very sick, needed to be seen asap..despite the short notice , I was able to bring my cat for an exam that day. My cat had a respiratory condition for the past 2 years but now could no longer breathe on her own. she needed to be euthanized immediately. I had not said goodbye to her, as I did not anticipate this happening. on that day. Due to Covid 19 I was not able to be with her but the staff brought her to me so I could say my goodbyes .I really appreciated that , my Izzy was with me for 12 years. She said yes he was more difficult when we got to the topnever mention that he was trying to bite her. This is what the owner said. I found it hard to believe they couldn't handle a 7 pound cat. The customer service skills are have left such a shame. Anyway, I'll never go back as I was a regular with my other and I will inform all my friends and family. Also not to go there. It's my only recourse. All I want was an apology and an to redo them which I wouldn't and went back anyway it's the principal of it all all that for $100 unbelievably pathetic customer service issue

I scheduled an appointment at VCA because my dog came from a different state and not much is known about his early puppy years, he was found in Texas wandering the streets with another dog. He was in a lovely foster home when I adopted him. They took amazing care of him but of course I wanted him to have a full physical to make sure he was starting off healthy. 1.) It's strange to me that the owner does not go into the room during the physical, but ok maybe it's a space issue, not a huge deal but I would think it would be helpful to both the owner and the staff, I had cats for many years and always accompanied them during exams. 2.) I was told his right ear was red but also told they never actually looked inside. I was told to "keep an eye on it." Without a full assessment and diagnosis, what exactly am I keeping an eye on? I was told he "Didn't want us looking in his ear." How exactly do you treat ailments if you don't assess them? 3.) Two weeks later and the ear worsens, as I knew it would. I bring him in again (now I'm annoyed) If his ear had been properly assessed the first time, I wouldn't now be wasting time and money, and he would've already started on meds. By now, his ear would have been healed. I'm an ER nurse I would never imagine us sending someone home without a full assessment. 4.) I'm sent home with $250.00 worth of medications that my dog really does not want to sit still for. It is the logic here that bothers me the most. So, he wouldn't sit still for you to even look in his ear, but you think for the next two weeks he will let me instill two separate medications, one of which is twice per day. Ok, cool. The alternative would be for them to sedate him, clean his ears and instill medication. That made the most logical sense to me, but they insisted I take him home and potentially ruin all the trust I've built over the past two weeks. Awesome. I will say this, if these medications don't work and I'm forced to bring him in a third time, that will be the final time I go to this clinic. I'm hoping things improve from here.
