I've never eaten here or done brunch here but I don't know if I really want to eat at a place where the night before dozens of guys danced with their eggplants swinging around. My experiences here overall have been ok. The front door entrance fee collector could be a little nicer. The main bar is enormous. Due to it being a strop club the drinks are over priced and for the area I feel like they are weak pours. If you like strippers, well, male strippers, well, gay male strippers, then this is your place. If not, then I'm not sure why you're here? Bring your dollars (and maybe a flask) and have at it. I don't know why so many people give a bad review to this place. As long as you know in advance what you are going to see and experience, it can be an incredibly fun night out. Yes, there are dancing boys all over the place. Everywhere! And yes, they may come up to you looking for a tip in exchange for some personal time with you. If that's not your thing, you can politely decline. That's all. But if you are into it, it's amazing what fun you can have with a few one dollar bills. Very entertaining indeed! Haven't frequented this bar very often, but the few times that I have, it hasn't been a good experience. Usually my complaints would be the heavy cloud of smoke around my head, or the skeezy, bored-looking dancers, or the overpriced drinks. Yesterday however, me and my friend ended up here after a long night (there weren't many options as most places are still on lockdown) and we were met with hostility on behalf of the management team themselves. I'm guessing the manager had his wife with him (for whatever reason) and my friend thought he recognized her, as he had met someone that looked similar at a party and mentioned they worked at Boardwalk. He asked her if they knew each other and she just looked at him puzzled, and nodded her head no. We figured he was just wearing beer-goggles and went back to our drinks. However, we are now approached by the manager, who says his wife was offended by my friends honest mistake and that even though he doesn't see the big deal, he makes a deal with my friend to go over and apologize and offers us shots on him. My friend, annoyed, does this just to diffuse the situation and save us from any unneeded tension. Her response is lack luster and she still seems annoyed. Her and her husband then get into it and they start SCREAMING at each other in the middle of the bar and he even flings a chair. Real professional. The wife leaves and things die down, but you can sense the awkwardness in the air as everyone is wondering what the f*ck just happened here. Never in my life have I been surrounded by such unprofessional staff, let alone management. People are already trying to escape the chaos which is the world right now and you somehow managed to make it worse at your own establishment. Me and my boys headed here last night for their grand opening after remodeling. The place has cleaned up. Patio was nice. BUT .. that is all. We were in there less than five minutes and we were bombarded by the aggressive dancers grabbing rubbing etc. Back up guys it cheapens the experience period. Myself, my fiancé, her friend, her roommate, and my brother-in-law decided to go here after a "TERRIBLE" movie and even though we're all in our late 20s, the 60+ year old attendant HOUNDED us and was sooooo inhospitable that we couldn't even speak reason with her. We had all paid, except for my brother-in-law; whose my fiancé's twin; had an expired state ID but had a valid photo ID and clearly stated that it was a valid (legal) ID, was still denied. They greet you with respect and a smile setting the atmosphere while maintaining professionalism. However, the owner and management circle are pathetic! They scrutinize women, and don't care how much money you spend there, they treat you like a trash and publicly humiliate you for things that don't occur. The owner's husband, kicked me out on multiple occasions for things that I did NOT do and have witnesses to verify. Therefore I will never return! Some girlfriends of mine were in town and we went to a lesbian bar at the beginning of the night. Turnabout being fair play, I suggested we go to Boardwalk to make things even. At the door I was greeted and they were hit with a list of rules and a contract to sign. The rules that I remember were: (1) FEMALES are not allowed to touch the dancers. (2) There is a two drink minimum (for women only?). and (3) $20 cover for women. I understand the desire to maintain the character of the place as a gay strip club, and to keep it from devolving into a regular stop on the bridal shower circuit, but it could have been handled in a way that didn't scream "go away because you have a vagina." Boardwalk has various venues and guests during any given week, but their mainstay are the multitude of strippers featured on any given night. Now, when someone said "less is more", they certainly didn't have Boardwalk in mind. There are strippers everywhere - walking on the bar dripping sweat into your Long-Island Iced Tea, hanging from an overhead bar, dancing on the small front stage, twirling around the floor near the bar. They are literally EVERYWHERE. Often, the number of strippers seem to outnumber the guests (is that a good thing?) "Big ones, tall ones, short ones, small ones....and a few chubby ones, seriously...." .....One thing that CAN be said for having so many strippers in one small space is that, no matter who you are or what your tastes, you're bound to find a stripper you can appreciate (and appreciation is usually shown by tipping.) Again, like Dudes bar in the Galt section of town, the main objective of the floor-dancing strippers (other than tips) is to sell a "lap dance" (at $25 a pop, can you blame them?) If this isn't your thing, then let the stripper that's hanging all over you know, he'll stop being so friendly, and will quickly move onto his next attempt. Well I was hesitant about going to this bar cause I read reviews on here that the boys were str8 and hated doing their job or were pushy for lap dances. I didn't get that at all as soon as I got there I saw a boy (had to be no older than 21) that I got a lap dance from at a decent price. I do not mind that everyone use it anyway, but I have noticed that 2 of the three doors are missing inside and that leaves only one fully functioning bathroom, with privacy. And it's always occupied! Really bad service! Came by around 5:30pm on a Saturday afternoon, the restaurant was not very busy, and nobody came to acknowledge our presence. The shirtless bartender made no effort to come over, even just to say "I'll be right with you." I noticed all the bar guests were taken care of, yet the bartender continued offering service only to them.
