This was my first time dealing with this location. I was trying to help my son whom is a young adult deal with the car problem he was experiencing which was his battery. The vehicle was dropped at this location on a sunday for service at 7am on Monday. Upon me calling in to the shop at 8:10 am my sons car hadn't even been pulled in, i asked why make an appointment if the schedule wasn't going to be followed. I advised to the repair guy no need to diagnose the car for a fee when we discovered during towing the car it might be the battery so just change the battery an let it run that was hour discussion at about 12pm well needless to say my son didn't get car back until about 3:30pm all day for a battery. read more

One of the guys from service damaged my truck and she only want to pay half for my truck light. I went to have a conversation with her face to face and she tried to play in my face. She's rude as HELL! I tried to get in contact with the CEO and that was NO help nor did they get back in contact with me. In fifty years of buying cars, worse sales service ever. Appt for 11am confirmed at 10 am, arrived car is getting detailed. Wait 40 minutes, salesperson very inexperienced, had to get another salesperson to help with computer entry as they conversed in Spanish. Price of pre selected car was already determined prior to arrival and paying cash. 90 minutes later, they take me finance manager. One hour later of waiting he gives paperwork with wrong car, phone number and zip code. Wait to redo paperwork. Lost my business forever! read more

Bob Bell installed a brand new $6000 engine into my 2011 Kia Optima Ex due to the class action lawsuit and then had the audacity to offer me $1000 for it towards the purchase of a new vehicle! They should rename the dealership 'Brass Balls Bob Bell'. Certainly need a huge set to treat a returning customer like that. read more

Absolutely the worst car as they are know for being targeted for theft had our few days before this happen to us.Yet our worst experience is the dealership itself dont buy Kia and especially not from Bob bell Kia Dundalk (7900 Eastern Ave Baltimore, MD ). They Only have one lazy service advisor he is the worst a Caucasian boy named Ralph. He never answers the phone or calls back and if you do get lucky to talk to anyone maybe once a week it's him and he is of no help. I brought Brand new 2024 Kia Forte and passenger backside window had defect and water was leaking in my child got soak driving the car home that night.We bring it in next business day and Sale manager tells us they will take care of it to take it down to service as they get us a rental. We go to service Ralph tells us they would have to bring third party and wasn't sure if it will be covered. When told him unacceptable he said nothing he could do and walked away I said your telling me nothing you can do he said nope we close in hour and didn't want to. He and service manager Joseph Hamilton never answer the phone you leave message emails and weeks with no answers. Dropped off the vehicle in August still no date as to when my car will be able to be picked up.As for rental never happen they had me come in second time instructed by sales manager to come in after noon when he was working to pickup rental and drop car off for service.I arrive afternoon sales manager was off that day so everyone stare at me dumbfounded and nothing was done one put a message in system for them to call me first thing in morning never happen.Come a third time and they have no rental available never happen and car still not fix. Another dealer gave us the runaround--they said there's was the only Kia Forte in all of Baltimore County. So I was disappointed and heading home when I got a text about an appointment with Bob Bell. I first thought it would take a week to get the stench of the last car salesman out of my hair, but we needed a new car and stopped on the way home. Michael greeted us with respect and kindness, told us how long the process would be, and was affable. The finance guy found a rate that better fit my credit score and didn't treat me like an imbecile. They worked with us and put us in the car we wanted. Had the other guy shown an ounce of the respect Michael did, he would have had a sale. Look, they're a car dealer and suffer from the worst elements of capitalism--I went there to buy a car at a price they said it was, not a price jacked up by an 8+ percent interest rate. And that's what I did. They were kind to us, and that's worth a few extra dollars. Of course, the car is vastly over-priced, but that's a sign of the market, not them. Michael and the finance guy made it easy to buy a car from them; they made it a human interaction and not a professional wrestling match where the guy who cheats always wins. read more

My husband and I popped into the Kia dealership to poke around some new souls and Sorentos. Dominic was absolutely fantastic, so patient with us, talking through each car and what was available. He was anti pushy car salesman and we were there for nearly 2 hours! Very kind and made us both feel very comfortable. After paying almost 5,000 dollars for a new engine we were advised that the actual problem within the engine was a recall issue that Kia never sent to myself or my fiancé. We were advised that we would be refunded the amount we paid to bring the invoice so we did just that in 6/29/2020. We were dealing directly with Jenn Traynor who said it would take three to four weeks for them to issue a refund. We kept trying to follow up with no reply so on July 16th we spoke to Roxanne who works at another Kia location but said she was going to contact the manager to see what was going on... She called back and said the manager said he sent the paper work to Kia corporate and they were handling our issue. We waited several more days and called on July 22,2020 and spoke to Sherry who said she saw NOTHING regarding anything related to our refund. She assured us she would personally work on our case gave us a case number and her extension and told us to call her anytime. She also asked that we scan in a couple of documents. We have been trying to communicate with her and have left several messages with no call back. Today 8/4/2020 I call and get another girl and said I wanted to speak to a supervisor. I spoke to Jada explained this whole mess and she said I'm sorry I will talk to the department that will handle this and have this expedited. I asked what the average expedition process would take because we have done our part. She said I don't know I haven't done one in awhile. So, I asked to speak to her manager. She refused to put anyone higher then her on the phone but said they would call by the end of closing today which was 9:00 EST. No one has called. I am so disappointed with the way we are being treated and of no fault of our own had we received the recall for the rod in our engine. Please make sure if you drive a Kia there isn't a recall that happened to miss your mailbox! Update emailed from National manager and basically mocked me no resolution no apology. read more

I purchased a vehicle from another dealer but it had safety recall. We called Bob Bell and they happily agreed to service our vehicle. Jenn our service advisor greeted us promptly and arranged our work. Our technician Alex Lee is the best, he performed all the recalls very timely which is greatly appreciated. Horrible experience with internet sales division. My wife and I were in the market for a new Sorento when Bob Bell Kia popped up in my search engine. I decided to take a look at their inventory and see if they had what we were looking for. They had a couple of models but when I reached out to them, they said they had already been sold. (Strike 1). The internet sales representative Gafar reached out to me to see if I would be interested in a model that was scheduled to be delivered on July 22nd. He sent me the "window sticker" (so have not physically seen car yet) of the supposed model to be delivered on the above stated date. Everything looked great! Color, options, etc. I then proceeded to let him know to possibly put a hold on the vehicle for when it comes in. He replied back by saying absolutely they can. He then sent me a waiver stating the price of the vehicle (vin number, make and model) and requested that the only way to put a hold on a vehicle is to sign the waiver with a $1000.00 deposit (non-refundable). I thought that was a little sketchy, but was in the market to buy this model they had arriving. I signed the paper and gave them my credit card to process so there would be a hold on the vehicle when it arrives. A few days go by and as timing goes my wife and I were hit with a massive financial burden that superseded the purchase of a new vehicle at this time. I then reached back out to Gafar and explained that we had to cancel this hold on the vehicle (mind you it was still not on their lot at this time) since our finances were redirected to a more crucial situation then the purchase of a new vehicle. Gafar was apologetic, but said I could not get the refund since it was non-refundable (Strike 2). I questioned the situation to him as to I didn't even get a chance to see the vehicle let alone I never ordered the vehicle. I would understand if I had ordered this vehicle with the options and then backed out, but this was a vehicle that they told me would be in by the 22nd. So I then proceeded to ask for the refund with Gafar explaining that the deposit was non-refundable (Strike 3). So now I'm at the point where I'm in a financial crisis situation, with no new car and down $1000.00 since they won't provide me the refund. I will never due business with this dealership and will let everyone I know to watch their backs if they ever try and due business with this dealership. All I asked was for my $1000.00 back on a $50,000.00 vehicle that was not on their lot and would sell right away the second it would be delivered. It's a shame that in this economy that when finances pop up not in your favor, you get businesses like Bob Bell Kia that take you for granite and walk away with no reasonable customer service for a potential future buyer when my families burden gets resolved.
