Tyrepower offer excellent prices on new tyres. They also service your brakes, which is how I ended up here. It looks like I'll be back soon as well as my tyres are running a bit low on tread. Anyway, the service was great. They went over the car and pointed out a few things when I came to pick it up. You could accuse them of trying to upsell by doing this, but they made sure I could see for myself the problems they were identifying. Most of them they couldn't fix anyway as they mainly deal in tyres. I had a little difficulty booking my car in, maybe it was a busy time of year, I'm not sure. Either way, it's a sign that people know quality. Really, that's the only problem I can think of.

So after phoning all the big names or some tyres and the prices being very uncompetitive and having…read morepushy salesman on the phones, I remembered this place i drive past regularly on South Rd. I phoned them at 8am and was back home, tyres fitted, 30 mins later. When I rang they informed but not pushy, I told the man exactly what I wanted and was given a price that was good. He didn't try and sell me anything else or extras which I liked. When I got there they were friendly and my car was taken straight away while I waited in the seated area. The job was done quickly as promised and I left pleased! This place was cheaper then the big boys, not by a lot of $$ but enough to make me go back there again!

The motor is as quiet as a mouse, and she no longer gives the occasional shudder when she idles, yet she's idling even lower. The air-conditioning is fixed. So, after receiving some info via email, I ventured down here to test drive the Ford Fiesta. The salesman David (who originally emailed me) was excellent - the right balance between imparting information without being pushy. In the end, the car spoke for itself and I decided that the Fiesta was the way to go, but I was impressed by the way David 'sold' the car, highlighting the features without doing the 'hard sell'. Delivery was very easy, everything was ready when they estimated it would be, and David answered all my questions whenever I had any. Would definitely recommend this dealership :)
