The images themselves are nice, but I didn't feel particularly blown away by any of them. Still, they are reasonably priced, with prints starting from around £25. You can also have your own pictures printed here, with the price of your image dictated by the size you wish the final article to be. A 30x20cm print would cost you £12, on block £28, 40x30 £18, on block £40, 50x40 £21, on block £46, 60x50 £25, on block £55, 75x50 £30, and on block £65.

At that time they had an exhibition by one of my favourite photographers, the provocative and perverted genius, Terry Richardson. I was immediately impressed that they had such a good collection of work by one of fashion photography's leading names. Although I don't go in as much as I should, I am always impressed with the work they have on offer, which is easily viewable by simply passing by - due to their large window and its displays. I would however, advise that you go in and see the work for yourself, as photography is best viewed in a gallery rather than simply through a window!

Among the featured artists at the moment are Stanley Donwood (lino prints from Radiohead's backroom boy), Carrie Reichardt aka The Baroness (subversive ceramics) and Eine and Zeus (typographical troublemakers responsible for the unmissable mural on the corner of Gardner Street and Church Street). Arranged on three compact floors, the gallery is currently holding a studio clear out, which is great opportunity to pick up some bargain limited edition prints. I had to email them to ask where the print was once it had been released. Then it of course arrived 2 days later so they clearly forgot my order which led to my having been sent number 42 of 50. Not one of the first as I was told when I pre ordered. They opened to the public and sold for a week before sending mine. Despite telling me I would have a very low number. It also has a mark on it which is not part of the design. This was a gift for my wife not just something to collect. They completely ignored my request and lied. Not sure how more incompetent they can be. I will never use this sham gallery again. You have ruined what was a 40th birthday present with your utter laziness and incompetence. I recommend Sara Pope use better galleries that don't lie to sell more works.

This is a new venture for Kirstie who says that the gallery will also hire space to photographers who are looking for a studio space can't shell out for the prices of the major commercial studio spaces available in the city. Among the works on display are Kirstie's 'The Pavilion' (pictured), commissioned by a local insurance company, whose CEO has had it shipped to the United States to remind him of his Brighton home, and the work of David Dixon who captures classic views of Brighton and Hove and digitally manipulates them to produce a water colour effect.

Includes figurative sculpture, naïve style still life, abstraction, portraiture, prints, city scenes and everything not so easily categorised in between. The director is knowledgeable and helpful, understanding that a piece needs to work in the space you have in mind. Though some artists are well established with various accolades behind them, the gallery is also good at supporting emerging talent, Justin Weeks and Mary Jane Ansell being good examples of this. The standard of this gallery is parallel to anywhere you'd find in London I highly recommend it.
