The food here is usually consistent, but today felt a bit off. First, they only had one high school girl working the front, and I'm not sure how many were in the kitchen. I've been waiting for my banh mi for over 30 minutes, and there are other people waiting too. Honestly, I don't blame the girl at the front--she's been very apologetic, and none of this is her fault. To make things worse, the AC is off, and the heat in Houston is unbearable. They're cash-only for now because their POS system is down, so I'm glad I happened to bring cash, which is rare for me. On the bright side, the aesthetic here rocks, and they've got some retro games that I really enjoy. The ambiance is great, but I've seen this place do better. Just not today.

Delicious and fresh! The kind man who I assume is the owner is very friendly! Love the place! My new boba spot!! Also order their kimchi fries. Highly recommended!!!

Great environment, such a cute place to take pictures! Service is so quick and efficient! All the items on the menu are so delicous I'm sure, my favorite is the pistachio milk tea and some delicous egg rolls! Definitely a hometown favorite for the fam in Katy!

First time coming here for milk tea (I usually go to Katy Asian Town to get milk tea), but I'm very surprised how not that many people know this place it's really good! I usually go for a taro milk tea, but I wanted to try something different and unique and the owner Julie was very welcoming and friendly and recommended me to try to matcha peach milk tea and let me just say I've NEVER tried a milk tea combo like this in any milk tea shop I've been too anywhere! The peach and matcha blends really well together and taste sweet and creamy without it being overly sweet. I've tried a lot of milk tea shops in Houston, Bellaire, and Katy but this place has some really unique drinks. Aside from drinks they have some tasty food options if you're feeling hungry. I ordered the spicy fried tofu and it was made hot and fresh! Will probably come here more often in the future

Amazing service, drinks, food, and atmosphere! Since the moment you walk in you feel so welcomed and valued as a customer! I recommend Bulgogi Kimchi Fries and Popcorn Chicken for a quick bite. For refreshments I recommend Wintermelon Milk Tea Iced Latte and Tropical Paradise Fruit Tea!

The two people who helped me were very nice.. however the pace is pretty slow. I ordered the peach green tea with rainbow jelly and I was the first and only person there ordering at the time. Took a while to receive and unsure why. Also not my favorite tasting tea I've had.. maybe I came on an off time or day?

Viet po boy and kimchi fries
    Jenn L.

This review is based solely on their food since we didn't order any drinks. We ordered a vietnamese pork po boy, popcorn chicken, and kimchi fries with an egg. The po boy was really good and was served on a different type of bread instead of your traditional french baguette. There was a slight crisp on the outside while the inside stayed soft. The flavor of the meat accompanied with the textures of the veggies were really spot on. The hubby really enjoyed this and could have probably eaten 2 more if I let him. It makes me so sad to say the kimchi fries were such a disappointment because I loveee fries! You know how you expect those piping hot crunchy fries straight out the fryer? And when you bite in to them, they're still too hot but you don't care because the almost creamy potato filling is so worth burning your tongue? Well... these fries were not like that at all, they were squishy and soggy. Almost as if they were warmed in a microwave? Now don't get me started on the popcorn chicken (not pictured). Omg, dare I say it... yes, probably the worst I've ever had. The batter was dense, stale, and bland. The chicken was large chunks of dry breast meat and there was no basil! Perhaps 3 food orders was too much for one cashier by herself since she was the only person there taking orders, making drinks and food. I'll have to come back to try their drinks and get my own po boy since the hubby did not want to share!

Caramel Thai Tea Float and TapX Milk Tea Iced Latte (both already shaken)
    M P.

I ordered the caramel Thai tea float and TapX milk tea both with boba. I thought they were both great. The caramel Thai tea float was very sweet - too sweet for my husband, but I love a sweet drink. It made the boba very sweet too, which was great. For food, I ordered popcorn chicken and Parmesan fries. Both were good. The fries came with ketchup and the chicken came with a spicy sauce. Overall, I plan to go again. The staff was friendly and they are able to customize drinks. I would like to try more combinations.

Reviewing only because I witnessed them cutting their tea with water. In fact it was more water than tea. Really disappointing.

The drinks were fantastic. The strawberry matcha and cloud lavender matcha were perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, and you could still truly taste the matcha instead of just sugar. For the food, the ebi and chicken katsu sandos were incredible. Both came out hot, crispy, and packed with flavor, while the bread was unbelievably soft and fluffy. The egg sandos were also excellent, and I loved the addition of the soft-boiled eggs because it added both great texture and presentation. The biggest surprise for me was the strawberry cream sando. That thing was AMAZING. The bread was slightly sweet and different from the hot sandos, which made it pair perfectly with the cream and strawberries. Honestly, everything was so good that we completely inhaled the food before even thinking about taking photos. Definitely one of the best sando spots I've tried, and I'll absolutely be back.

Comfortable cushioned chairs/bench, it's actually not just for looks. Good amount of seating area, though, they could have added maybe 1 more. I got a Signature Black Tea Egg Waffle and House Blend Milk Tea with Yin-Yang Jelly. Though, the house blend milk tea was delicious, I specifically asked multiple of times if there's any tree-nuts, such as almond milk, because someone in my group has a severe tree-nut allergy. I have mentioned it many times, including what their egg waffle mix has (such as almond flours and what not). I was told the waffle was good to go but nothing about their yin-yang jelly. The young server was friendly but I don't think he realized the importance of someone not consuming tree-nuts if they have a tree-nut allergy. Luckily, we double checked with someone else after I questioned the drink and luckily the person who has a tree-nut allergy didn't try any of the drink. So, if you or someone in your group has a tree-nut allergy... possibly avoid this place or get a drink somewhere else. There's a big chance of cross-contamination even if the person who took your order knows the severity of it. Overall, it's a good bubble-tea IF AND ONLY IF THERE'S NO ONE IN YOUR GROUP WITH A TREE-NUT ALLERGY. Tea, at 20% sugar level was sweet enough and delicious without artificial taste. I can actually taste the tea and milk. Their Signature Black Tea Egg Waffle is cute in 3 shapes of cranes. The wing parts are nice and crispy but the center of the body is dry. There's no bounce to it. It's pretty thick and heavy. I would skip their cranes and just get drinks. Again, please beware if you or anyone has a tree-nut allergy.

I like what I like, just as others like what they like. So I wasn't sure what I was going to get stuck with. So on the way to the outskirts of Katy, we stopped in at Ding Tea. Let me tell you how busy this area was on a beautiful Sunday before lunar New Year. There wasn't a single parking space to be had in three different lots. There was traffic everywhere in people. Do not drive well when they're looking for a parking spot. People just stopped in the middle of the parking lot and didn't move. Waiting for someone to walk out of a building. Super annoying. Luckily, Ding Tea is located behind lot of the larger restaurants and the golf course and other super busy areas. There was a parking spot waiting for me out front and it was easy to get in and out. We ended up getting a tea to share, and two to go with us to the party. We also got an order of the popcorn chicken. I wish they would have it a little bit spicier on its own, without having to dip it into things. A little seasoning goes a long way! The staff were also super nowledgeable about the menu, courteous, and efficient. Will definitely be back, but not on lunar new year. So busy!!
