Popcorn Chicken with Sweet Potato Fries
    Ashley L.

We actually went to this food truck in hopes of finding some authentic Taiwanese shaved ice. Unfortunately because they moved their store front to a food truck they can no longer serve. However, we did not want to just leave empty handed and heard that the popcorn chicken was very good. My family and I were not disappointed at all. The popcorn chicken and sweet potato fry combo was cooked to perfection. Super crispy on the outside and soft/juicy on the inside. The seasoning was perfect as well! The combo was $14 and came with popcorn chicken, sweet potato fries, and a drink. Which I think is pretty reasonable for the portion size. The food truck is located by TS emporium side street on Nogales and Daisetta Street. Upon arriving the fragrance and ambiance really feel like Taiwan. Overall 10/10 would definitely come again. ^--^ I think they open until midnight everyday and I will definitely be returning!

My all time favorites place to get Taiwanese Food! Especially for the 3 flavors chicken bento! It's better than every way you can find at SoCal! And really authentic! The popcorn chicken is really amazing, You guys should have to try it! No.1 Pick Teppanyaki Noodle Killed it! Pork Blood Cake, outside crispy inside super soft! No one can beat it

Amazing! What went well? Well I guess everything we ordered went well! I was a little skeptical at first but decided to give it a try. I ordered the stinky tofu, OMG, it blew me away! No way it tasted better than most actual Taiwan night markets half way around the world! The crispy texture and the smell hit the spot! Paired with kimchi and the chili sauce you are in stinky heaven! I think the smell could be "more stinky" but I'm guessing this is better suited for the masses. We ordered the Cajun Corn, it tasted similar to most Cajun dishes with a little bit of character. Could be a hit or miss with some. I liked it. My main entree was pork ribs rice, solid 5/5 stars the meat was tender with flavor! My wife had the tofu rice, the tofu came out just a tiny bit salty, but was acceptable as the flavor was spot on! The only drawback back from eating food truck is that there's not much service (hence no tips) and you are eating right on the curb using their pop out tables and chairs. If you love Taiwan dishes, you better go try.

It has been a while since l got anything from a food truck. This was a deal for $5. It certainly came in handy after having dinner next door. Friendly staff !

Bobamia is now a food truck business! That's right! You heard me correctly! Bobamia is now situated on the corner of Amar & Echelon close to where its former restaurant location was. The food truck itself is brand new and cutely designed, displaying all of the food and beverage options on the side. The food is still delicious as always with great portions for the price you pay. Grace still runs the business and is still friendly as ever. I got the Basil Chicken Tofu rice combo that came with a milk tea and it is still one of my favorite food offerings. Please come and check out this food truck!

Fresh taro slush with egg pudding ... large size

Passed by this place whenever I go to my friend's place but never got to try it. Today my friend and I decided to stop by on the way home after pickle ball. I ordered a fresh taro slush large size with pudding as the topping. The small slush was $3.50 and the large was $4.00. Since it was only $0.50 difference I decided to get the large. This place doesn't have dine in so you have to place your order at a pick up window. The drinks all seem like a good deal compared to other boba places. The minimum spend to use credit card is $10. After placing the order for 2 drinks, we waited about 5 -10 mins for the drinks to get prepared. To my surprise, the fresh taro slush was pretty good. I didn't adjust the sugar level (although not sure if you can), but might be too sweet for some people. The pudding had strong flavor and later would overpower the taro flavor. The slush overall was good flavor though. There is also crystal boba as a topping option even though it's not listed on the menu. I would definitely want to come back next time and try the popcorn chicken and their other drinks! I'm not able to upload pictures for this restaurant at this moment.. not sure why.

I discovered this food truck while searching on Yelp after moving to the area and not having a refrigerator to store and cook homemade food. With limited dining options nearby, I was initially skeptical about whether it would be open due to the lack of reviews. I debated if it was worth the drive, but I'm so glad I decided to go. I tried the Pork Belly Rice with Popcorn Chicken and Big Shrimp Wontons with Noodles. The Pork Belly Rice and Popcorn Chicken were fantastic, especially with the marinated egg. The Shrimp Wontons with Noodles were also impressive--the wontons were full of flavor, and the noodles itself were surprisingly tasty despite their small portion. I would definitely return for a late-night dinner. Highly recommended! Thank you again for the good eats (:

Been here a few times, so good! They have good chicken popcorn and their portion is pretty big too. I can never finish my food alone when I'm here. Service is also really good, they're always so kind

    Ada Z.

We ordered a pork belly rice with a side of popcorn chicken. The shop is tiny, so you wait outside for orders after placing it, and they call your numbers physically, so be sure you're listening for it. I loved that it came with a marinated egg and bean curd. The meat and rice were well flavored, and the popcorn chicken was crispy too. The price was good, and the box felt heavy! We'll definitely be back again!

First impressions is that they have two self ordering kiosks. Already a HUGE plus. Space is pretty standard for a grab and go combo with hangout spot. Couple of tables inside and all pretty spacious. Very clean as well which is a nice plus. I love the subtle light green deco all around the shop, which gave of chill vibes overall. Parking - Free in a large outdoor parking lot. Some spots can be a bit tight so watch out for that. One thing I always look at when I visit new tea shops are their cups. Chayan has great cups, sturdy, cute yet simple design, and easy to hold. It's also pretty unique compared to other shops when you think about it. -- WHAT WE ORDERD -- -- Peach Oolong Milk Tea -- ($6.29) - This might be the perfect drink on a HOT DAY. It's refreshing, not too overpowering when it comes to the peach. Very standard and to the point. Very easy to sip and finish within seconds! -- Black Tea Frappe -- ($6.89) - Love this drink. It comes with an option to add Pecan nuts on top of your whipped cream thats above some fresh milk tea. Made the drink very creamy but also very savory to a sense. Refreshing and perfect on a hot day. It's also one of their most popular options, highly recommend. Overall, a wonderful tea spot addition to SoCal. Loved the vibes here and it's certainly one of my go to tea places now whenever I'm in Rowland. With similar vibes to Molly Tea when it comes to quality, I'm excited to visit again to try other drink options. Taro slush, 9.5/10: Probably the best taro drink I've ever had. Gotta go no toppings. Watch the carbs. Not too sweet. It's perfectly smooth and creamy. I only allow myself one cheat meal a week, and while there are plenty of other boba spots I could go to, my kids specifically love your fries. There was an unusually long line around 8:30 PM, but we waited anyway. By the time we ordered, the kitchen was closed, so no fries, my kids were pretty disappointed. We ended up just getting boba drinks, but unfortunately the boba pearls were severely undercooked and extremely hard. It made the drinks unpleasant to drink, and I ended up throwing mine away because the boba is the whole point of milk tea. What made it more frustrating is that your phone line doesn't even work, so there's no way to call and let management know directly. The only way to bring attention to the issue is by leaving a review. I understand busy nights happen, but if the drinks can't be made consistently or the boba isn't ready, it's probably better not to serve them at all. At the very least let the customer know that the boba is not ready or no bobas available.

The matcha flavor was earthy and not overly sweet, which I appreciated. The milk mochi was super soft and chewy, and the red bean added a nice traditional dessert touch. It's refreshing if you're into cold matcha desserts. My favorite though was the A6 Midnight Harmony. The combination of black sesame, taro paste, red bean, and milk mochi was rich, nutty, and comforting. The black sesame flavor really stood out and paired so well with the taro. I personally prefer the hot-style desserts here because the sesame flavors feel deeper and more fragrant warm. Overall, a fun spot for Asian-style desserts and mochi lovers. If you like black sesame and chewy textures, definitely give the Midnight Harmony a try.

With Card, there's a 35 cents additional charge for orders under $15.) I arrived at Tenju Tea House (Rowland Heights) on Friday (around 11:45AM). There's a competitive, busy parking lot. Fortunately, I quickly found parking. Staff is professional and polite. Staff gave good recommendations, and Staff answered all my questions. The drink took about five minutes. As mentioned, I ordered the Iron Goddess Milk Tea ($6.75 - Large - 100% Sweetness). The crisp tea taste is pronounced and brewed perfectly (not burnt). Its gentle sweetness soothes the throat, and the flavor of honey and caramel flutters about. It's DELICIOUS! On ambiance, Tenju Tea House (Rowland Heights) is aged, worn-down but well-maintained. The location is a little small; there's about four tables. Fortunately, it feels well-ventilated and airy. In addition, Tenju Tea House (Rowland Heights) also has PLENTY of utility. The monk's blend was an iced Ceylon black tea with a touch of vanilla and grenadine. Although this drink is a signature menu item, I didn't really enjoy the citrusy and plum-like tartness. Most of the popcorn chicken pieces had a crispy texture, whereas others were a tad soggy. With medium spice, the chicken was very flavorful. The popcorn chicken came in an oyster pail that looked a little small, but the portion size still seemed adequate for the price. I ended up drinking the tea first before eating the chicken because the flavors did not leave a complementary aftertaste. Also, I got my tea first, but the staff forgot to give me the popcorn chicken even though they said that it's on the way. I had to follow up after waiting several minutes. One staff member was apologetic and explained that she thought my order was complete once I got my tea. The wait was unfortunately long because of the miscommunication.
