I read another site with five star reviews and could not believe that the service I received was…read morethe complete opposite. I contacted her and she was very responsive at first. I had problems with the forms and it took me longer than expected, so she said she couldn't do it when I needed it. I told her that was fine, just do it Monday which was two days away. She had the forms in hand and was taking them to the jail to be notarized. She didn't even have to notarize them herself - just deliver them, let the jail do it, and mail the originals back to me. Simple enough. It started with the copies. I sent an email saying please disregard the power of attorney I previously sent, please do not print. She printed it anyway and charged me for it. She also charged $25 extra for nice paper. I didn't mind paying for printing, but if you're not going to do it correctly I'm not sure why I'm being charged $25. Finally the documents were signed and notarized. She left and sent me phone photos - pages disheveled, shadows everywhere. I started reading through to verify everything was signed, dated and notarized. The jail notary had left two critical blank lines. I texted her immediately. She said I'm not going back, I'm mailing these as is. Why send them? I can't use them. They aren't legal. She then threatened to shred my documents. And she did. She shredded my personal legal paperwork. These are legal documents that do not belong to her. She had no right to destroy them. She is a licensed Georgia notary. She knew exactly what she was doing. Any notary knows you cannot leave blank lines and you absolutely cannot destroy someone else's legal documents. I should not have to stand over a licensed notary to tell them how to correctly complete a notarized form. In the end I got my money back but I did not get my paperwork. She shredded my personal legal paperwork that did not belong to her. And it was not just the Statutory Power of Attorney - she also shredded the Medical Directive which was complete, correct and had absolutely nothing wrong with it. She destroyed both documents. I am a notary myself and I know that any notary knows you cannot destroy someone else's legal documents. She should be very glad that she did not notarize those papers herself or I would have already reported her to the state. However I am still looking into whether I can report her to the Georgia Secretary of State Notary Division because any licensed notary who deliberately destroys someone else's legal documents should not hold that license. I would never trust this person with any document of mine ever again
