The shop had caught our eyes during the last stay in Hope, but was closed at the time -- yeah, open this time, and looking most-worthy of a closer look. The shop itself, was small, cute, and "cool". The owner and barber/hair stylist, was a delight to meet, so friendly and cordial -- I really thought she, and the rather "neat ambiance" of her shop, were such a perfect match!! Daughter decided to pop into a chair for a quick cut of her bangs. I thought of getting a full haircut, but 'chickened-out' when I realized I had not had a haircut for such a very long while, would want a very short cut, and knew my head would be exposed to some rather cool temperatures for our stay this time (forgot to pack one of my favourite touques for all the outdoor walks!!). I missed out this time, but sure glad to have stopped by - it was a pleasure to have met 'Lizzy', chat, and catch an inside view of her fine, little shop. Will plan better for our next visit to Hope -- and maybe catch a nice, short, 'spring cut' next year?!!

A student at riverside was working there and doing my hair (i was going from brunette to blonde) and she let one side of my head process for way too long because she wasn't fast enough. Then Ryan came over and massaged bleach into the rest of my unbleached hair! (bleach doesn't lather) one side came out light, one side came out orange and when they added colour it came out green! everyone said they loved it in the salon... I can't believe I paid.
