Rep came out didn't do any inspection said he knew without a doubt what it was. $1400 to do repair plus cut a hole in my ceiling but first needed another company to come out to do an asbestos test on my home built in 1987. Decided to call person I bought home from who built it. He said not a chance they are trying to scam you. Called another party out putty around drain replaced in 2 minutes. I hired this company to come out and investigate a leak that I had in my upstairs master bath that was flooding my bathroom downstairs. They came out and basically stated they couldn't do anything until I had another company MS Star 1 come out and demo my walls so they could find the leak. MS Star 1 came out and measured the water levels in the walls and marked up the walls and ceiling that would need to be demo's for them to find the leak. I agreed and they said the leak was in the shower pan( it wasn't). They did find a leak in the hot water supply line to the shower but they missed the crack in the drain pipe that ran down the inside wall of the downstairs bathroom. They tore out the shower and then fixed all the walls in the downstairs bathroom before installing the shower in the master and testing to make sure there were no more leaks. After installing shower they completed the construction inside the bathroom and the next day we took showers only to have the bathroom downstairs flooded again. They quickly came out and found the real problem that went unnoticed. They did not deliver as promised. Every time they stated "We'll get back to you on that and we will CC you on any correspondence to the insurance". Never materialized. Do not use this company if you can avoid them both. Find a more reputable company to do the work that will communicate with you and keep you abreast of the progress. read more

After taking a nice relaxing shower, I was back to stressed when I realized I couldn't shut off the water. Despite the late hour (10 pm) someone was nice enough to pick up the phone when I called panicking. I'd tried other places and hadn't been able to reach anyone, so hearing that "Hello this is Bobby Blue Plumber" gave me some relief. Bobby himself walked me through a few steps to figure out what's wrong and he set me up with an 8 am appointment for the next day. Jason Taylor (the knight in shining armor) arrived in his truck with his toolbox and got right to work just slightly after 8 am. He walked me through all of my options and provided estimates for each. I appreciated that because it gave me an idea of what to expect. He was kind enough to start with the least expensive (removal of cartridge vs creating a hole) option, but he did outline what could happen if that didn't work out. Again, super helpful and honest. My cartridge was being a bit stubborn, so he did have to run out to buy a tool to remove it. Thankfully that worked out. After removing it he was able to figure out the type of cartridge it needed. My place is a bit old, so they don't carry that cartridge in their truck, but he was able to find it at the local store. That required a second trip for him. Less than an hour and a half after he arrived he managed to fix my water issue. He did a great job! He was very professional, respectful (he didn't talk down to me), and above all very patient. Jason was super informative throughout the entire process and educated me on what steps I can take to avoid future issues (cartridges need to be replaced every few years). The plumber was on time (9am appt), however he didn't have anything to cover his shoes, and we have a baby so we didn't want dirt and mud dragging around the house. (Any other service/company we have ever had always offered to wear booties to cover their shoes). The plumber didn't have a problem with wearing booties to cover his shoes, but he didn't have any! He even said he's ran into this request before. So he told us he would go get some and be back in 30 mins....1 hour and 20 mins went by and finally he came back at 10:20am. Bringing in his equipment...He stained our carpet and tiles while walking through our house. (See pic!) He acted like it was no big deal and even told me that he hasn't had time to clean his equipment. He said they would send a carpet guy to clean it up but I didn't want the stain to just sit there overnight and I don't have time to wait and make another appt for something that should have been avoided in the first place! It seems like this has happened before. He did do a good job on finding the issue and solving it. But the wait before and the clean up afterwards was something that shouldn't have ever happened. They ended up not charging us because of the mess and time, which we really appreciated, thank you! So this is why I gave them 3 stars, otherwise it would've been a 0/1 star. read more

This company has a technician with the worst attitude, poor customer interaction and zero professionalism. Walked into my house with his dirty boots, no coverings. He came in because of leak under my sink, he couldn't fix it and then informed me I may have to have all my countertop removed to fix the leak since he couldn't fix it the first time. He stated he was trying to save me money but what I wanted was to fix the leak. I called his company and reported him but there was no follow up from the company. I am totally disappointed in the customer service, if any. I will never ever call them again even if they providing services for free. read more

Where do I begin? We contacted Bobby Blue Plumbing for a shower/tub install and to switch our single sink plumbing to dual sink in two bathrooms. Initially we were told by Fernando that the job would take two guys 5 hours and we would start on a Saturday morning. Friday night around 6 we get a call that there is a family emergency that will keep him away until Tuesday but he will be there then by 830. Tuesday comes and it's 10am and we've heard nothing. I called the office and was told between 10 and 12. Ok, cool. He showed up around 11 with his helper Phillip. By 12, Fernando left for "supplies" and left Phillip here. While in my home where I have 2 small girls, Phillip was taking phone calls in which he was bad mouthing Fernando and using profanity. Around 130, he left and said nothing. Fernando eventually came back around 3 but at that point in was late in the day and there was no work done yet. The next day we were expecting him early, nope. For the rest of the week it was a starting time of at least 10, if not 11 even when we agreed to 7am. It's now 4 days into the "5 hour job" and it's 4th of July weekend. On Monday July 5th, we waited until 1230 without anyone arriving. We called and just canceled the day. And finally on July 6th, the job was finished. Or mostly finished. Trash was left in my bathroom, water bottles in my walls, dust all over from the drilling that damaged our main bath vanity. And to boot, our shower valve is not even installed correctly. The hot and cold are reversed and we asked 3 or 4 times for this to be corrected. Fernando told us that he would return later that week to take payment and do the final sign off. He never did. And on the 12th, we left for vacation for a week. Out of the country. It is now July 17th at 9pm and he asked us to leave a check in our mailbox, where is still sits. To say we are disappointed is a huge understatement. read more

Written by my husband Robbie: Wow!!! I love Bobby Blue Plumbing! I am a new home owner and we encountered a leak using our guest bathroom tub/shower which seeped into the adjacent bedroom. I went through a total of 5 local quotes to fix the problem. All gave possible solutions which would fix the problem from $7-$10K to fix by installing a whole entire tub/shower combination. Bobby came in to my home professionally and examined the possible causes. Bobby gave my issue great attention and explained the whole process with me and allowed me to watch the process. He noticed that the drain was loose which no one suggested in fixing first. So Bobby wanted to see if the leaking issue could be fixed with plumbers putty to tighten the drain. With one small fix, the shower/tub stopped leaking! Bobby also added some caulk to some trimming as well in case water was going through there as well! My only regret is that I wish I got Bobby FIRST before going through the other competitors. I will be using Bobby Blue Plumbing for future plumbing needs! Bobby and I were able to strike a conversation too and found out he was a fellow Christian as well.
