Always a good experience at this location. Have been here a few times but finally Able to leave a review. Food is usually pretty quick and delicious. Servers are also friendly as well and for the most part pretty attentive. Drinks are good as well, as they have a smoked old fashioned which is one of my favorite. Overall great time here and will continue to go back. We usually order the whole hog heaven which I think has gotten a little more expensive recently however. read more

Everything about Bobby Q was great. We were in town for ASU parents weekend and found this place on Yelp. We sat on the patio and had amazing barbecue and appetizers. Everyone loved what they ordered and the service was great. The ambience on the patio was so nice. We will definitely be back probably every time we go to visit our son. read more

Where do I even start we didn't know what to expect just chose due to ratings, this place delivered. Don't hesitate and eat here!!!! We stopped and they have a nice basket of corn bread with butter to welcome you. Which honestly is some of the best corn bread we've had. It's perfectly moist and amazing taste. (We even bought some to take). We then tried the q rolls which delivered as recommended. For lunch they have a lunch menu which is a brisket taco and salad or side. The size is more than enough. Salad is a beautiful size of salad. My husband and I ordered the 3 pick meat combo (beef rib, brisket and chicken) it was amazing. The meat had flavor from the outside in. Very well seasoned! The beans and potato salad were perfect. I seriously had no issues with this place. They sent us off with some donuts and they were freshly made out the fryer and were so delicious. I had nothing but great things to say. The waitress service was beyond what we needed. She ensured we were happy with all we ordered. Came here with my wife and 3 year old daughter. We ended up ordering a 2 choice meat plate (brisket and baby back ribs) with a side of macaroni & cheese and loaded mashed potatoes to split. We also got a large wedge salad which they were nice enough to split on two plates for us. Our daughter got a child's plate (chicken nuggets and French fries). They brought us a basket of cornbread to start, good start we ate it all! All the food was excellent! My wife liked the ribs best and I liked the brisket best. We actually couldn't finish everything! By far the best Texas style bbq in central Phoenix!! I have been to Bobby Q's before but the original location, as I was told this newer biltmore location is less crowded but still the same quality and it did not disappoint! The service was SPECTACULAR, as our waitress Deja was extremely friendly and recommended delicious cocktails that we all enjoyed. We ended up ordering almost the entire menu minus the prime rib and salmon, which were delectable. Today was our 28th Anniversary and we were so excited to have lunch and celebrate. When we got to Bobby Q we asked to be seated outside, it was awesome outside. We waited and waited for our server to come and en she finally did she was so preoccupied she wasn't able to even say hi or anything. It was like this robot taking our order. We overlooked the server and lack of warmth, and ordered apps. The rib tips were mostly gristle and the meat was hard which was pretty funky. But the zucchini was light and delish thankfully. I ordered the catfish poboy and SBL got the cheeseburger with no onions and or sauce or pickles. A few later the server told us they were out of catfish:/ so I took a pivot and ordered the brisket sandwich. When the food came out there were onions and pickles on the burgeon the burger:/ I watched SBL pick off the unwanted funk from his burger and then take a bite and basically watched the bun disintegrate all over his shirt because it was the driest bread of all time. Mine did the same and that's what I got for laughing at him :/ sandwiches were mediocre mine was slightly better than hubby's minus the bun. The burger was dry, bland and not how it was ordered. Not once did our server ask us if we wanted more drinks or anything else. There wasn't any real interaction with us at all. It wasn't the food or experience we were looking for on this momentous occasion. We could have gone anywhere which we talked about, but we decided to go here because we knew it was great and always fun. Today was an epic let down and an overall sad face for us. We were visiting Phoenix to pick up some car parts and needed to find a place for and early dinner before leaving. After searching on Yelp for a barbecue place, we settled on Bobby Q-Biltmore which was on a few miles away from our location. This place was fantastic. We all picked different menu items and none of us were disappointed. I ordered the baby back ribs with sides of beans and roasted corn. The ribs were the tenderest ribs I've ever had and the meat just fell off the bone. Their barbecue sauce was amazing and very flavorful and the beans and fire roasted corn were also very good. They weren't very busy at 4:30 it our server, Lindsey, took very good care of us, providing additional drinks before we even had to ask. Also this restaurant is very well decorated and beautiful. The prices are through the roof a little pricey for BBQ but I get it when you're known as the best in town and publicized as the best...... but at least be a little humble about it. $35 for Brisket is a little crazy. For comparison I used to get a plate called the meat sweats which was 1 lb each of baby back, & beef ribs, brisket, pulled pork and sausage for $40 in Ohio . The brisket tacos fall apart as the single corn tortilla gets soggy and breaks immediately, making a huge mess and hard to eat. They need to serve it on two tortillas. Service was fine. Phil's BBQ in San Diego used to be our favorite BBQ restaurant but Bobby Q completely changed the game like no other. Our waiter, Gabe, was an absolutely delight to have and was so attentive. Gabe gave us the whole spiel about how the meat is smoked for 22 HOURS as it was our first time and we had to know the kind of quality of cooking we were getting into. We started out with Q rolls because literally everyone gets Q rolls so we couldn't be THOSE people that don't order them, you feel me. I thought $16.99 for 6 egg rolls was a little excessive but WOW they were the bomb dot com. So flavorful and juicy and tender. Just a few brief moments later, Gabe comes to us with the most delicious, moist cornbread. We thought, damn this must be because we told him it's our first time he must really be trying to butter us up for that tip. But no, we aren't special - everyone gets the cornbread and for good reason, everyone NEEDS to get a piece of that goodness for themselves. We then ordered a full baby and a half St. louis (in the words of our wonderful waiter Gabe) with the pecan cole slaw, mac n cheese, shoe string fries, and brussel sprouts. The cole slaw is out of this world. Highly recommend getting them as a side. For sure the best side we had. When I tell you these ribs were fall off the bone, I quite literally mean FALL. OFF. THE. BONE. I couldn't even tell you which of the baby back or St. louis ribs were better, they both blew my socks off. You might think the greatness ends here but then, as Gabe returned us our check, he brought over HOMEMADE DONUTS. ON THE HOUSE. What can I say? This is arguably one of the best BBQ spots I've been to west of the Mississippi. Came here after a VERY long day and flight to the Phoenix area. Wanted something to eat and even though this spot was out of the way we took a chance. Good chance... Got the wings as an appetizer and they're outstanding. I thought they'd make it back to my room.... Nah.... Got the St. Louis style ribs... 2 for 2. Another good pick. The ONLY thing I wish I'd have gotten was the sauce on the side. Now that the proteins are done I got the broccoli and roasted corn. Didn't miss a beat. Cornbread is good before your meal and as a dessert. This was a good meal after a long day. SPENT MY BIRTHDAY ALONE AND ENDED UP IN TEARS. Went to the Camelback and 32nd Street restaurant and called ahead telling an employee it was my birthday and asked if they still offer a free dessert on your birthday. I was told yes and so arrived around 8:20pm. I told the waitress seating me that I was there to get a cocktail and my free birthday dessert. She sat me in the waaay back of the restaurant in a corner facing the back of the restaurant. I asked if I could be seated at the bar and she told me "No, cause the bartender just left to use the restroom and then she was closing the bar". The restaurant closed at 9pm so after ordering the pork ribblets and a cocktail and taking a couple bites of my free dessert, I signed my tab and left the waitress with a 15% tip. As I was leaving I walked passed the bar and saw about 6-7 people in street clothes sitting at the bar laughing and enjoying their drinks with 3 empty seats still open. I began to cry and asked to speak with a manager. I told the manager what had happened and his excuse was that it was an employees last night there and that all the people at the bar were employees. RIIIIGHT!!! I continued to cry and told him that my waitress knew it was my birthday and sat me in the way back of the restaurant FACING A FUXXING WALL AND TOLD ME NO WHEN I ASKED IF I COULD SIT AT THE BAR!!!! All he could say again was "Actually these are all just employees"! LIKE HAVING A CUSTOMER AT THE BAR WOULD HAVE PLACED A HUUUGE DAMPER ON THAT EMPLOYEES LAST NIGHT!!! YEPPP! THAT'S HOW BOBBY Q's TREATS THEIR CUSTOMERS!!! AND I WAS A PAYING CUSTOMER!!! NOT JUST THERE FOR MY FREE BROWNIE WITH ICE CREAM ON TOP!!! A COMPLETELY SAD ENDING TO A NIGHT SPENT ALONE ON MY BIRTHDAY! Greasy tables and floors. Dated and very old decor. With VERY GOOD FOOD! BUT WAAAY OVER PRICED for being a sandwiched between two other small businesses, hole in the wall establishment, and not having their own free standing building. At the prices they charge you would think it would be detached and not having to rent a space. Bobby, this was my first and last time at your restaurant and I will not recommend ANYONE spend any type of special occasion here. Obviously, customers are treated subpar to the employees! First off I want to say our server Hanna was the best!! She treated us so well. The inside of the restaurant was nice! They have nice decor, and the restroom set up is a sight to see. Beautiful restroom set up. Now, the food. I am a good cook, and come from a family of good cooks. Live in a town (Vegas) where you are use to the BBQ Spots out there. Honestly, restaurants are heavy on the BBQ, when it's only the sauce giving you the taste. I was looking for true grilled taste. I'm not sure how the cook the meat. It didn't have that char on the meat. I would give the over all taste of food a 3. My middle baby said 4. but this is my yelp. I would definitely go back to try something outside of what I had. The hostess advised us there would be 1 hour and 20 min wait. She took my name and number. We received a text later advising us the reservation was for 7:15 pm. We arrived, checked the status and were advised we were next. We seen at least 3 other groups seated as we waited outside. We waited until 7:40pm then decided to leave. I already put in my information online but was never contacted. I visited this location last week and had been coordinating with a friend for almost 3 weeks to find a great happy hour spot. I needed a place that had HH availability after 5 PM because of my job and we landed on BobbyQ. They advertised online via website that their HH was from 3-6 PM which was perfect, but unfortunately we were told that their Happy Hour time had changed and they wouldn't honor what was on their website. Obviously this is a Marketing issue but it was disappointing that our server/host wouldn't accommodate us as the reservation specifically mentioned Happy hour. I came here after seeing a post with the cute clear pig glass cocktail. I was hesitant to try this place because it is a chain, and I normally like to go to smaller businesses. We decided to go here with friends because they accept reservations through Yelp. Unfortunately, they did not have the clear pig glass. They did have a cute pig glass that was pink with a Hawaiian necklace on, you can also buy it. I got a super fruity and delicious drink, I can't remember the name! Our waiter was super nice and attentive. The corn bread was the best corn bread I've ever had. It was super moist and melted in your mouth. It honestly didn't even need butter. We also had the Cajun shrimp appetizer that came with eight grilled shrimp in a yummy sauce. There was also some garlic bread, it was a delicious starter!! For dinner I had the catfish with corn, fries, and Mac and cheese. The catfish was not good, it tasted fishy like salt water fish. I was not a fan. I loved the little steak fries and the corn was delicious. The Mac and cheese was too cheesy for me and it almost felt like velveta, it was super thick cheese that hardened quickly.
