I can't recommend these guys more strongly! I've been taking our cars there for several years. They are professional, communicate very well, and do quality work on time. But I am most impressed with how they stand by their work! Two years ago they replaced a rear wheel bearing and hub. That wheel bearing recently failed and resulted in damaging the hub and disc rotor. It was a quality part, just my bad luck. Even though the work was well beyond the warranty period they offered to make all the necessary repairs at no cost! Wow - in this day and age how often do you experience that! I started looking for a new mechanic after Ocean Honda (Chevrolet) stopped being a factory repair option, and a friend that maintains a large fleet of maintenance vehicles sent me to Bobby's -- I`m happy to say I didn't need to go anywhere else. Two smog checks from these guys and many more. Each time I showed up 5 minutes prior to scheduled appointment to get the necessary paper work out of the way. Paper work done they call the tester and 15 minutes later my smog check is done. None of this crappy someone is ahead of you, or it will be a short wait bull you hear from other smog check places. You're in, you're out in 15 mins. Way to go guys! This time the tester, Robert Huckaby, informed me my tire pressures [yeah part of the smog check is to check tire pressures as a freebie] were running high @ 38 lbs, when Acura recommends 32 lbs. Rightly so but Lloyds Tires AND Michelin state 35 lbs, the 3 extra lbs from heat driving to the shop...no big deal, Robert understood. Robert then asked if I kept loose change in the ash tray. I use to but not anymore was my answer. Robert then stated he found some change that had dropped down into the console and left them on the center console. Now, he could have kept the quarter and two dimes and I wouldn't have known one bit. But Robert's honesty is a ten star praise that cannot be overlooked. I got into a bind one day where my fuel pumps went out so I had my truck towed to their shop based on yelp reviews. The good: Fast and honest service. I couldn't believe how quick these guys worked and they WILL NOT compromise on cheap parts. This is a good thing as this points how they are interested on keeping you on the road. The bad: Hourly rates seem to have soared for all shops and this was quite a suprise. I always took my 1996 Infiniti G20 to them when I wanted competent work and trustworthy service. This place is ultra! I have a 1978 Ford and I was having a really hard time getting it smogged. It had been flagged as a "gross polluter" and worked on by lots of other people who probably didn't know what they were doing. A mechanics nightmare. I went to four other places but no one else wanted to take the time to deal with it and I was even told by one rude business owner that "I was beating a dead horse and I should get a new car" before he hung up on me! Anyway, I dropped it off with Bobby and within 2 hours everything was fixed and it cost a little over $200. VERY HAPPY!!
