This mom finally got some time to sneak in a massage, walked in like I always do but this time was 8:04 in the evening. The massage therapist I got was a man and he did an amazing job. I didn't have to tell him anything. He knew exactly where I was hurting and made sure I was comfortable with the pressure. About did I have a lot of knots in my shoulders and upper back. The amount of energy that man put out for my body was felt. Don't be discouraged by the men that do the massages. They're just as good as the ladies here at Bobo. This is a decent quick stop for a little relaxation. Walk ins are never turned away and there is a wide array of services from chair massages, full body, foot and oil massages. They have privacy curtains for those requesting the oil back and body massages; however, the rest of the massages are done out in the open with stations right next to each other. Went to get a massage today. They demanded we pay up front beforehand and as we were leaving they yelled at my friend demanding that she tip them. She wasn't happy with her massage so why is she obligated to tip for the service. I've read other reviews and apparently they do the same thing to everyone else. I booked a prenatal massage and the didn't let me lay on my side to do my back they massaged my arms (barely) and my face for 10 minutes and did my feet for 50. I paid for a combo which should have been 30 & 30 for foot and body. Not happy with them yelling "TIP US TIP US" as we were trying to leave. Borderline harassment. Massage places like this aren't really going to get you the most relaxing experience as there's just one big room with many tables next to each other hosting however many people. I tried to avoid this by getting the hour long oil massage and oh boy did I regret it after. The man that did it was WAY too rough and multiple areas of my back and shoulder muscles are swollen and sore. It was also hard for me to relax because I could obviously hear everything and it wasn't dark at all. Just got a massage for the first time here, and it was terrible. I always get a masseur wherever I go to get a massage because I feel like they can give more pressure, but they didn't have one, so I decided to try my first masseuse. She somehow successfully gave me too much pressure and not enough pressure. She was either tickling me because she was barely touching me or she was digging her elbow in my back (seems to be common here; they should show these reviews to the therapists working here. Last weekend my husband and I went to Bobo for a massage and it was great!!! We gave them a generous tip because the service exceeded our expectations. While we were there, we booked another appt for massage today, which was a week out. We had to wait a bit bc they never wrote our appts. In the book. And the price has gone up 30%, but I know they lost a lot of business as they had to close due to the pandemic. Today's experience was completely opposite of last week. It wasn't relaxing bc they were all talking, the phone kept ringing and my technician would stop to answer the phone. At one point the client next to me did not want a male technician so my therapist switched, in the middle of my massage. They required us to pay prior to the massage which was fine. She worked my back, neck, arms, hands, legs, and feet. At first I thought the massage would be quite simple since it was a promotion and was pretty cheap. Boy was I wrong! Wendy did not disappoint.
