The fishing is hard to beat, Walleye, Smallmouth, Northern, Crappie and Catfish are all plentiful and because of it's size and the abundance of good fish habitat it's very easy to get away for the fishing pressure you find at a lot of other places. My one night stay there last week resulted in over 100 Bed Bug bites. I am now under a Doctors care and spending lots of $ as we scramble to keep our house from becoming infected. Worst of all, when I reported the problem to Hotel Management, they blew me off and wouldn't even return my phone calls. When I finally tracked someone down, they proceeded to lecture me that this was MY problem-- NOT THEIRS. They then questioned my honesty and made a pathetic attempt to absolve themselves of any liability. In my 40+ years of business travel, I have never witnessed such a stunning combination of arrogance, condescension, indifference and tone deafness. I would rate this place as a zero minus minus and caution anyone considering staying there.
