I absolutely love this shop!…read more Found it randomly just strolling along Avenue Louise and a gorgeous pair of polka dots espadrilles/mocassin (that's the exact name, I asked!) caught my eye in the window. They make their own design in a workshop on-site and work with big brands as well. You'd be surprised at the amount of designs for a young local company (they started just a year ago, the manager told me). So I went in and because they have such a high turnover of designs, the whole shop was on sale (a lot on -50%) to make room for the winter season coming soon. Although my size was missing, the manager showed me the bigger size and also got me a pair of half-size soles, which made the shoes fit perfectly. To be honest, I think I'll stop by again very soon: they have the most amazing collection of brogues...

Like a tourist…read more Tourists love their sneakers. For the amount of walking we need to do when visiting amazing places abroad, I'm not going to be traipsing around in sky high boots or heels or stacked anything. I'm more about comfort. I'm not in Europe to snag a cute guy during the stint either (well, maybe ;) the Swedes were very charming and dress so well. That being said, my mode of the horseshoe equivalent were my Superga sneakers. So even though I was set to go and had no interest in adding more weight to my suitcase, this is the shop for every sneaker fanatic. This store is dedicated to sneakers and sneakers only. Curious? They carry them.....right down to vintage sneakers. Prepare to be wowed and feel free to take a peek. There is a reason why they are known to be the biggest sneaker shop in the area. Great staff, friendly and knowledgeable and open to inquiries.

Apparently an outlet cannot afford to take care of the rubbish and I was told that if I want to leave the box behind it would cost me five euros. I told that I bought the shoes and would not take the box, neither pay the extra five euros. The owner? got very angry and shouted at me to leave the shop immediately, showed me the door and told the cashier lady to remember my face and not let me in ever again. This is a pity as I have been a loyal customer for years, have usually bought several pairs of shoes each visit, three pairs just last week, and also taken visitors out of town there as well. My two visitors today had just said that this is where they would like me to take them also in the future but were so frightened by what happened that are now not likely to return. Very unfortunate.
