I was essentially ghosted three separate times during the ordering process. First, I submitted an inquiry through their website and never heard back. After two weeks, I went into the shop and was told someone would call me that day or the next. Another week passed with no response, so I had to follow up again myself. When I finally spoke with the designer, I emailed multiple inspiration photos showing exactly what I wanted: three bouquets with pastel pink and ivory flowers. She said she could do it and would call me the next day with a quote. Instead, I didn't hear from anyone for almost three weeks--until the day before pick-up, when they called asking if I was coming to get my order. By that point, I had already started making plans to arrange flowers myself because I assumed they weren't going to follow through. When I picked up the bouquets, they were bright red and looked nothing like the photos I had sent. To their credit, they did fix the color issue before the wedding, but I was still disappointed with the size and quality of the bouquets for what I paid. Grateful for the ladies at the counter that were very kind to me every time I came in. The flowers worked out in the end, but the stress and lack of communication made this experience far more difficult than it needed to be.

Besides doing an excellent job with the arrangement, everyone we met was friendly, personable and full of helpful suggestions. Price-wise, they are great. One relative sent a basket of live plants that she ordered from an on-line florist that she paid $100 for. She hen she saw it, she was devastated - she could have purchased a similar or larger basket for $30-40 at Giant Eagle. The casket spray cost the family $266. Our $150 pedestal arrangement had more interesting flowers and was nearly the same size. So impressed by this florist! We'll definitely return for their seasonal items, which are so attractively displayed in homey settings.

Because of that, we needed to have her buried the very same day she was brought home from the hospital. Honestly, I'm still not sure how I held myself together enough to do any of this. My daughter and I walked into Weidig's that morning, overwhelmed with grief, crying, barely able to get the words out. We arrived mid-morning and needed multiple arrangements - flowers from the grandchildren, flowers for my mom from the siblings, and individual flowers to place on the casket - all for that same day. Not only did they manage to create and deliver everything within just a few hours, but the flowers were the most beautiful arrangements I have ever seen. What they did felt nothing short of a miracle. Beyond their incredible talent, they were so kind, compassionate, and heartfelt during one of the hardest moments of my life. For my latest order I selected the "Designers Choice" arrangement and while I didn't receive a photo, I was told they were "Splederiferous" by my grandma. I'm hoping I can get someone to send me a photo, but I know from previous gifts that they always look amazing. I appreciate the ease of online ordering and the variety of options, as well as the option to include a gift message. I was also able to schedule the flowers for next day delivery. Since I've ordered a few times I'm also on their email list and they send promotional emails, including reminders around the time of previous orders which I thought was really thoughtful. I also liked that they sent email updates notifying me when the flowers were out for delivery and when they were delivered. It allowed me to call my grandma to make sure she received them/knew that she had a gift waiting for her at home. While not necessary, I'd love it if they could add a photo to the email so I could see the arrangement too since it's a long distance purchase, but they do such a great job as it is. The arrangements I ordered looked nothing like the pictures. In facts, I've gotten better flower arrangements from the supermarket for 1/3 the cost.
