We were immediately greeted by friendly…read morestaff and told we would be put on the next free tour, and that it would be in english if there were no other customers (because english tours are usually only booked ahead of time online). The tour was extremely interesting, detailing the history of the oldest bodega in San Rafael, and then we were given a comprehensive look into how they make their incredible wines. THEN! There was a free tasting with five different wines, also for free! We stuck around and ordered a few glasses of wine (they're only $1 USD) and sat outside at a beautiful table under the shade of huge trees. We eventually ordered some food which was equally inexpensive and delicious. We spent several hours here and surely plan to go back!!
