First off, THE LOCATION IS NOT SHOWN CORRECTLY ON YELP's MAP!!! The actual winery and restaurant are located about 10 minutes outside of the town in the vineyard. Location: The restaurant is located in their vineyard which you get to drive through as see all the grapes on the vine in the late summer time. We didn't get a tour of the winery but went to the restaurant next door. The building is new and also houses a nice venue perfect for weddings (we saw on going on). Food: The food was traditional Spanish cuisine with some modern touches. When we sat down we were brought these complimentary blood sausage mousse bites served on a rolled up cracker, it tastes way better than how I described and I don't even like blood sausage. For our appetizers were had the octopus and the pate. I've had better octopus but it was okay , but the pate was so delicious! The pate had just was airy and had just enough of that gamey, rustic flavor. At my table we had everything from beef tenderloin, fish, to roasted leg of lamb. We all enjoyed our entries but I particularly enjoyed the leg of lamb as it is a regional dish. Service: We visited during a slow time as there were only 2 other tables in the whole restaurant. The service was kind, helpful, and very attentive. Wines: Having lunch in Spain on a winery you know we popped a few bottles. We started off with a bottle for their white wine which I was skeptical of as this region is known for its reds but it fit right in with our appetizers. For dinner we had 2 bottles of their tempranillo which they are known for and another white. Desserts: They had around 6 options for dessert which all sounded great! I ordered the flan as I love flan and it was very rich and creamy. Come here if you're looking for a nice family meal with a very traditional Spanish menu.
