Their faithfulness to the word of God, their love for one another, the gospel preached, and many other matters, but not to forget, the blessed Pastor who loves Jesus and HIS assembly at Currey Creek. We are going to move back to this area after being away for some time. Our decision to make Boerne, Texas our home and the Currey Creek Church our spiritual home until we go home to be with our wonderful God and Lord Jesus Christ.

From a creative perspective, this venue is bright due to so many lovely windows and MANY MANY places to shot video or photo. Tonya, the coordinator, was an absolute gem. Her organization, warmth, and attentiveness kept everything moving smoothly, making sure everyone was where they needed to be without ever feeling rushed. One standout moment for me was working with their audio engineer. Thank goodness for him! I was able to get a direct audio feed that ensured Kayley's soft, heartfelt voice during the vows was perfectly preserved. That, combined with the groom's mic, made for audio I couldn't have been happier with. Capturing vows is one of the most important parts of what I do, and thanks to the team's professionalism, I was able to do just that. This review is for The Fellowship Hiking Trails & Prayer Garden Park in the back, wooded area…read morebehind the church. I was searching for trails and parks one day and saw this in the area. I wanted to wait until the summer heat was OVER as I didn't want to get mosquitoes nor contend with the humidity while hiking. It was a pleasant mid-morning hike along the rocky, slightly damp soil path from last week's rain. The path is on a hill but you have to find your way maneuvering along a hill, watching for branches that are along the path and delineating the borders. Large rocks also guide you in some areas & weathered ground. There's a main sign showing the 1-mile path but you have to figure it out somewhat and follow the Scripture passages on posts. I THINK we went the right way and read all the passages?! There's a large, towering cross that can guide you back in case you veer off too far. There's construction going on nearby--probably a new development so straying away can't be too far off or you'll enter the construction area. The western side is a retaining rock wall that leads to a subdivision so you can't go further than that. It was nice and serene walking the path but there were tricky areas of cactus or stepping on a large stone so be careful and wear athletic shoes or hiking boots that can grip. The trail map shows 3 out of 5 "fish" as a visual for difficulty. Watch for the brush overhead and prepare to duck on some parts of the path esp. if you are tall. After finishing the trail, we saw an area with seats, a large chime that started to go off with a burst of wind which was refreshing and urns, cherubs, stream that hardly had any water, some large crosses(one wooden and one wrought iron) that is there for meditating, praying and possibly where they hold Good Friday or Easter Sunday services. There are benches scattered nearby as well. It's the perfect time of year to visit.

The sound is not too quiet and not too loud. The lighting gives a great ambient feel without feeling like a rock concert. The people are warm and friendly. The parking is easy to find. The location is super convenient. The kids ministry is spot on exactly what my kids need. Not just childcare, but actual lessons to help them grow in their faith. I think the main thing that I love about it is that it is so unapologetically about Jesus. He is the hero. The main point of everything. I highly recommend you check it out. It's been through a ton of changes (including a full building renovation) and it's not the same church it used to be. God is doing something amazing here.

They are so welcoming to their guesting, constantly inviting new members in, and making sure you have every opportunity to grow in your faith with them. The staff is great, worship team (music) is incredible, pastors have great sermons and very relatable messages within them, and the people definitely make the church.
