Since it is Oktoberfest and a sunny day on a Saturday the place is jammed full of people. There are several beer gardens and interior dining rooms as well.
The group of us found a comfortable table in the sun in one of the beer gardens and some went to gather an array of traditional dishes while others went for the beer.
Table service seemed to be available only indoors on this day.
The food, an array of items such as pretzels, potatoes, meats like pork Haxn and meat loaf were quite tasty.
The dark beer, "dunkel", is my favorite and it was fabulous. The varieties this time of year is mind boggling. A half liter was fine for me.
What an enjoyable experience yet the crowds were a bit crazy too.
One can always go into the church for some tranquility, if needed.
