I thought it was a tad bit pricey at $86 but I was grateful that he got it done in a timely manner. It took about a week and a half. My boots were pretty worn out. He didn't do anything extra to the actual boot like shine it or anything, which I would've appreciated but it still looks good.

There was still dirt on both pairs of boots, the cream-colored embroidery on the one pair was so brown, I won't be able to wear them again. They're ruined. When I pointed it out to him, he stated it couldn't be cleaned (oh, really?!!?). But is there a reason why it's browner??? I'm so very disappointed. The cayman inlay boots needed more attention to detail. You can still see dirt in the crevasses. And the sole stitching...NO attention was given to that. Again, I can't state it enough, I am so very disappointed. I took the boots in because of the decent reviews. Like I said, the one pair of boots is ruined. I'll never be able to wear them again. Now where am I going to take my really nice boots???

The original sole was removed and then reattached with an additional sole on top, which looked poorly done and uneven. There was glue all over the shoe, and they were noticeably dirtier than when I dropped them off. The owner is an elderly man, and while I try to be understanding and supportive of small or local businesses, the quality of work was simply not acceptable. What concerned me even more was the experience when I tried to address the issue. When I called to request a refund because the shoes were already falling apart, he asked me to come to his room while he was laying down, which felt very unprofessional and uncomfortable. When I expressed that I just wanted a refund, he refused and hung up on me. I understand wanting to support local businesses, but unfortunately, this experience did not meet basic expectations for quality or professionalism. I would not recommend this service based on my experience.
