Last night in Grants Pass and we decided on Bohemian for dinner. Was bummed the rooftop wasn't open but understanding. The waiter who served us was very pleasant and attentive. Started with the strawberry martini which was very delicious. For dinner I had the beef stroganoff and my husband had the steak. I really enjoyed my pasta. Short rib was tender and sauce was super flavorful. Also the noodles were cooked perfectly. I tried the steaks and mashed potatoes which were both great, the chimichurri stole the show though. This was a nice find in the middle of old town. We let our server know right away that we were on a tight timeline, trying to reach our destination by a specific time, and she was incredibly accommodating. This was much appreciated. The menu is broad and thoughtfully put together, making it easy for a diverse group of eaters to find something appealing. We started with a green salad tossed in a champagne vinaigrette that was genuinely excellent. I ordered the pappardelle stroganoff, and my husband chose the winter squash risotto with chicken. Between the two, the risotto was the standout - rich, comforting, and full of flavor. The pappardelle was more al dente than I prefer and the sauce leaned a bit oily, though I suspect that may have been influenced by the kitchen honoring our request to eat quickly. Either way, the ingredients tasted farm-fresh, the space itself is a modern gem tucked into old town, and the staff was warm, attentive, and professional throughout. We decided pasta would be fun for a change, so my wife had the Brisket Stroganoff w/ fresh assorted mushrooms. Mild flavor with plenty of meat and mushrooms. I had the Orecchiette Alfredo with shredded chicken and sautéed pork belly. Perfect flavor with plenty of chicken and pork. Both entrees came out steaming and fresh. Drinks were goood! Stopped in for a Saturday night! Cute little spot in grants pass. I got a burger and side Caesar salad. Burger was a little overcooked, but still really good. Caesar salad was a generous portion! A little garlic heavy, but still enjoyed it. My friend ordered the pesto bucatini with grilled chicken and loved it! Had 2 amazing great visits to the Bohemian this week. Both visits were filled with delicious food and great attentive service. One trip was to the bar for lunch solo and had the smash burger with fries. WOW. Fries were hot, crispy yet fluffy and nicely salted. The smash burger is tasty, perfect BOH sauce and toppings. If the pickles aren't homemade, they sure taste it. Second trip was on Halloween for early dinner. The fried spicy edamame was a perfect appetizer. I've never had edamame fried but I will be on the lookout for it now from more places. The Alfredo could have had a thicker cream sauce but it was still tasty and plenty of chicken, peas, bacon and omg those crispy shallots on top were the best part. My aunt loved her order of the dry rub chicken wings and beet salad. Everything here seems to be so fresh and made with love. Decent place to chow down. Our friends invited us to lunch after a tour of their plant. We sat for a couple of hours sharing stories and learning about the history of Grant's Pass. Since we had been feasting at other good Grant's Pass restaurants on previous days, we ordered something light. Tender Beef bites I had ordered was very good. Well, I usually don't give a five star to a restaurant, but the Bohemian bar deserves every star they got yesterday.. We showed up unannounced yesterday for lunch with 15 people, which for the wait staff & kitchen is quite a challenge. They were able to accommodate all 15 of us and the service was stellar. Not a single order was sent back and the food came out pretty much all at once. The food there is delicious! I ordered the Bahamian burger, medium, rare, and it actually came out medium rare, which not many restaurants seem to be able to get it right. My burger was hot and tasty and the fries were crispy. Who could ask for anything more! So I want to thank the front of the house for their patience and amazing attentiveness,, and I want to thank the kitchen for a wonderful example of what their restaurant can serve. I highly recommend the bohemian when you're in grants pass. We will come back again, but next time not 15 people all at once lol read more

I could not easily throw this complex dish together without some real effort. Perfectly seared, rare in the middle, lightly dressed with fresh avocado and a well-balanced wasabi/sweet/tangy sauce. The bin was minimal, like a flattened onion roll, which was perfect because the last thing I was looking for was a plate full of carbs right after the holidays *lol* It comes with a side of country potatoes, fries or green salad for $14. Hot Nashville Chicken Sandwich: I believe that it's a special item not available year round. Get it while they have it! My friend had me try a bite and it will be my next order. I was pleasantly surprised that the hot was full of flavor and perfectly balanced with light sauce and a fresh pickle slice. The chicken by itself (chicken breast) was ridiculously juicy and there were multiple layers of flavor in the chicken component all by itself. The biscuit is good sized and is surprisingly sandwich like and not at all crumbly *perfect* I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place! We had shrimp, calamari, flatbread and edamame for apps and everything was over the top tasty! So good. We had burgers, sandwiches, ribs and more and everything was amazing. The service was over the top everyone there was so friendly and helpful and worked hard to make our experience positive. I am so grateful for the management emailing us confirmation of a table for my son's celebration of his marriage that day. Additionally, my sister surprised us from afar and called in and paid a large amount of the bill. Then a total stranger paid the rest plus generous tip! The menu has good dishes, but don't expect consistency. Not in the quality, the execution, or, for that matter, the service. I have had great dishes that have also been served half-cooked, mushy, and mistakenly cold. In my opinion, it is not a family atmosphere nor is it a disability-friendly place. If you want to chance it, I recommend going there for lunch on weekdays as it is extremely difficult to converse when busy due to the acoustics indoors. Avoid Friday and Saturday evenings because, according to one of their managers, they are "one of the most popular restaurants in town and there may not be any tables or chairs available so you can go somewhere else." As snooty as that was, it does make some sense, being that there is only a singular low couch in a hallway to wait for a table. read more

Grants Pass is becoming our favorite food stop on our travels. We came in on a Monday...Mondays are special here because a lot of joints are closed, not this one...so this place gets a little live. The rooftop outside seating was closed due to rain. We like sitting at the bar anyway, you get to talk with the bartenders, waiters and staff. Friendly and full of local information they were. Love the way they all support their local businesses and each other. Wife had this beautiful salad and I killed the mussels and fries dish. Full bar and cold beer on tap. I was astounded by how good this place was! It looked nice from the outside and I was expecting good, American style food, but that's a disservice to the quality of what I ate. I haven't been this impressed by any restaurant in a long time. The care, quality, and uniqueness of the food was far beyond what you would expect, especially in smaller towns in America.
