Prague Thrift is small, but things are tucked in everywhere. I ended up getting a like new Zella athletic top, women's in-line skates, helmet and wrist guards. The employee went out of his way to help me examine the condition of skates ( they were excellent) and even suggested places to use them. There was the feeling that expats donated their things here when they left Prague. Some nice small kitchen appliances, English language guidebooks, novels, and kids books. Random sports equipment like a rugby ball, rackets, and even a folding exercise bike. There was a nice room dedicated to children's things. Men's and women's clothing was organized well. There were lots of shoes, purses, bags, some luggage too. It got a little busy on Saturday in the hour before closing time. There is a high demand fitting room there as well. Overall, I am very happy to have made my way over using the #16 tram. I could see why so many customers felt like regulars.

The store is extremely close to the flora metro/tram stop (literally across the street form the mall on the corner) which I love since its less walking to find it. It is also very well lit inside, well organized and always has some type of sales bins towards the front in case you are on a super low budget. This place is already pretty cheap though so not sure how poor you would have to be... Their pricing is the variable here. They weigh all your items that are priced by pound, so the lighter your items are, the cheaper of a deal you usually get. If you want jeans or a jacket you can still sometimes find good deals here if its made of a lighter material. You can also wait as they weigh your items to decide if you think they are worth the price, if not you can always say ne. Last time I went here I got two dresses for 80 czk and they were both brand name, Jen calls that a steal. I will most likely go back here due to the nice staff and large selection.

A lot of the coats were good- heavy even and going from 200 crowns. Mostly all their clothes were a brand of some sort, I got a dress, and two nice sweaters for 300 crowns. Now that is a deal. I would probably not come in here normally, but with the sale time I would say it was a great deal and worth stopping in for. They also had nice sneakers and boots half off, which I would have bought had I not been leaving Prague with no room in my suitcase. Overall! Bring your own. The atmosphere is bright, clean and spacious with tons of things to choose from. The staff is very nice and helpful, sometimes even speaking a very little bit of english. I noticed the price chart on the wall seems to work a lot like secondhand street market where they price things by item, and then weigh it for a final price. Like I said in my Secondhand street review, if you know how to shop like this, there is always a deal to be had. Lightweight clothing of any kind is the best deal in these places, think tank tops, leggings, light t shirts, layering long sleeve shirts, light summer dresses, bathing suits/camis without stones/buttons/belts, ect. I didn't actually buy anything here, but saw many things that I would be interested in buying if I had more time to look and try on. I will be back here as soon as I have some free time!

an awesome store!…read more bought riding ankle boots--the entire shoes are made out of rubber--OMG so comfortable, like walking on the clouds! ok, don't know what it's like to actually walk on clouds but my feet felt so comfortable, because the rubber soles absorb pressure from the feet. besides, they prevent you from slipping on the cobblestones because they stick to the surface. ladies, if you're looking for super comfortable shoes w/steez for traveling, these are it! turns out the guy who works there designed the shoes. once i wear them out, planning to order them online. p.s. the entire store has the Melrose, LA cool & groovy vibe.

The store was unorganized and it was hard to find anything as all the clothes are all cluttered together. Changing rooms were revamped port-a-potties. All in all, a disappointment.
