I'm Jessica and I work in HR, a wife, a mom to three now adults and a crazy dog. My daily life consists of work and home life with very little me time. In my free time I crochet, read, relax with music therapy, collect things that I shouldn't collect and spending time just chilling. Honestly I don't feel beautiful or sexy on a daily basis. I can make things awkward on purpose and I didn't want the photos to come off as that. Once the first few photos were taken, the nervousness went away and felt empowered. The whole process of the day was easy and simple. I never wanted to cancel as I just wanted to do it and see th final outcome and I'm glad I did. The entire process for me was easy, simple, not rushed or felt like I was obligated to do it or purchase anything. From the first few calls of the consults, I asked all the questions I had and was given all the answers and then some. About time the session came, I was ready to go! Nervous but excited. As I said previously, hair and makeup was fabulous! I didn't recognize myself! I was in awe! The support system was incredible as they made sure I was comfortable with each step till the reveal of the shoot. And I still recognize myself in them lol. The whole day was my favorite! Since I've never pampered myself or didn't anything like this, everything that was done,takes the cake! Taking all of the photos and seeing myself on screen through a lens- I didn't even realize it was me at first but once I did I was in a good shock. 7. Did you feel nervous before the session and what helped you ease into the session? I did feel nervous but it went away after a while. It wasnt because I was in a room with someone else in lingerie. I think it was because I got into my own head and over thinking most of it. The photographer was amazing at everything and made me feel myself while validating everything that was going on. We were vibing together which made it more enjoyable. I felt full blown empowered. I felt like I'm the force of nature that has been hiding for so long. Something unleashed inside of me that has been hidden for so long. The confidence exploded and is out in full force. For me, it was finding the inner me that was put away for so long and now she's out!!! I would definitely do it again! I think all if not most women needs to at least do something like this once in life. My photos all had basically the same items in the background. I mean, every photo you could see the same items. Nothing different. My husband wanted the photos, so $3,500 of repeat. Then, when I was going through my photos with the photographer, she complained about the owner of the studio. Which, from the email and such, I already guessed she was stuck on herself. My name is Priscilla S. I work for the Federal Government. I am from Atlanta, Georgia I relocated to Richmond, Virginia for my job. Not a mom nor a wife, just me. I only work and go back home so I had not had an opportunity to dress up and get my make-up done for a very long time. The outcome surprised me. It was truly a WOW moment for me. My daily work attire is very casual well.... For most people I am usually found in a suit, no room to show my personality/ I am single so I rarely think about being or trying to be sexy but, at my big age I decided to do something for me...just for me. My normal modius operandi is to do things for others before I do anything for myself. I do my own hair, nails and make - having these thigs done for me felt magical. I must admit I did want to cancel ...I just did not want that type of disappointment at this time especially with all the job uncertainty that I faced daily. I ultimately, I decided that it was now or more likely never. The phone consultations processes were very helpful and encouraging. I was provided with a play by play of my day The team-maintained contact with me throughout the process by text and e-mail. They guided me through the process with love. My make-up artist was the best, she made me look beautiful, the reveal was everything. The staff were amazed at everything that they did during my session. I must admit my favorite time of that day was getting my make-up done and seeing how good I looked after the photographer posed me. She was amazing also. I felt powerful and I cannot wait to see the final photos!!! I also loved going through the closet amazingly. I was very nervous and that is putting it mildly. My anxiety was through the roof. After I saw my make-up, I started to feel more at ease with the process. I also became at ease in front of the camera; I believe that everyone freezes in front of a camera. The process brought me back to me before I experienced life's twist and turns. Life will always be life(Ing). This moment was for me and only me, but I am going to share the photos because I look great. I feel that the greatest transformation for me was that my confidence is so high. I might get a larger package added on to my order. I am very open to doing a Boudoir session, again I already have some outfit ideas. I think I might try something a little more revealing next time. My name is Brandi Blauvelt and I found Boiling Point on Facebook because a friend liked their page. I am a mom of 3 and have been plus sized my whole life. I have an amazing partner I've been with for over 18 years now but I have been programmed to always feel inadequate my whole life. I see physical beauty sometimes but the moments are far and few between. While I elude confidence in certain areas in my life, I do not feel like I check the boxes for societal beauty. I decided to do a boudoir session for myself because everyone deserves to feel pretty. Photographers can pull beauty that we do not see but that others do. I was nervous though because I am plus sized and I didn't want things to look like I didn't belong. I am proud of who I am and I am proud of my body for getting me this far in life but I know that others can be judgy and think I don't belong because I'm bigger than what you would think a model should be. I do not do makeup day to day or special occasions so I didn't know what to expect but Shae went above and beyond! I was completely comfortable the whole time! Hannah made sure I knew exactly what I was doing with my poses and made sure I wasn't uncomfortable in anyway during the whole photoshoot. She was so kind when I forgot a prop at home as well and allowed my husband to bring it. I was nervous in that I fake it til I make it with confidence but I didn't know if I would really LOVE any poses. I didn't know if anything would come naturally or feel comfortable. The flip side is that I was only but so uncomfortable because everyone I talked to before coming in was SO nice and personal! I was pretty confident I was going to have a couple poses I was going to at least like but WOW! I am proud of my images! I look GOOD! I feel GOOD! And I can't wait to get the digitals! As a 22 year old who struggles daily with my self image and confidence I was hesitant to do something like a boudoir shoot. But let me tell you, the lovely ladies who work here helped tremendously with that. I just had my shoot done yesterday and it was definitely a life changing experience. I rarely see myself in a beautiful/sexy/confident way but after yesterday my eyes have been opened to see.. well me! Ive always wanted to do something like this but never had the confidence to do so. I entered a contest to win a boudoir session on a whim thinking that would be cool but I wouldn't win. But I did and I am so glad. I am a middle age woman and mom going through a divorce. I wanted to feel beautiful again. My employment is in a male dominated field. It is difficult to maintain the balance between being taken as a professional and still be an attractive woman. I am very self conscious of how I look without clothing. I have gained weight, had 3 children, lost weight, and aged. I'm Kara, I am in the military. That being said I don't feel sexy in my day to day life. It's maybe on rare occasions where I can give myself a little retreat to wrangle my femininity back. Last time I deployed I had a boudoir shoot done and I didn't have a good outcome with it. I'm coming up to possibly deploying again and I wanted to retrace those steps hopefully to get a better outcome. I was worried my second go around would bring the same issues as the first, hidden pricing, always feeling there wasn't enough information and then being disappointed with the results. As a 32 year old who has just been diagnosed with multiple autoimmune disorders and recovering from a depressive stint, I have been very self-conscious and hard on myself about my physical appearance. My self-image has suffered greatly and I struggle to like what I see in the mirror. My husband is my greatest cheerleader and support. He never fails to let a day go by without telling me how beautiful I am. So I have been trying to see myself through his perspective. Which led me to Boiling Point Boudoir. One of my closest friends did a boudoir session in the past and she raved about it. I definitely had my concerns. First and foremost, if I don't like how I look in my regular clothes, would I like any of the photos that showed more skin? I also did not own anything I would consider sexy. Being plus sized, clothes / lingerie shopping does not instill a sense of confidence for me. What I liked most of about Boiling Point Boudoir is that it is a process. You have two video calls with a staff member to make you feel comfortable with the idea of the photo shoot. Rebecca was great and thoroughly explained all of the ins and outs. One of the questions, she asked each time we spoke was "what are three things you love about yourself" and "what are three physical traits you love about yourself." At 35, after having 2 kids, working too much, and struggling with extreme anxiety and lack of confidence, I needed a boost and motivation to care about myself as much as I care about others. I'm Payton, a mom of 3 little girls and wife to a body builder; and I am a cosmetologist for my day job. I spend my days dolling up my daughters and my clients at work but never take the time to pamper myself much, the most I do is some quick concealer and mascara, normally in the car on the way to wherever it is we are going. I did one boudoir session several years ago with someone else and had a terrible experience... I really wanted to have a redo to have that experience that every woman is searching for when wanting to do boudoir, and I spend all my time making everyone else feel beautiful so I wanted to have my turn for once. I was skeptical at first simply because the one I had done before did not go well, and I have body insecurities that I was nervous wouldn't be flattering in pictures but man am I glad I found this place and went for it!! From the very beginning of booking the session these ladies had my back and made sure I felt prepared and ready for my shoot! From the phone consultations, to the video chats prior, to the day of the shoot; they were absolutely amazing!!! They answered any questions I came up with, helped me decide between the outfits I had brought, and made sure I felt comfortable during the whole process. I have to say my favorite part was simply the support that all the ladies here gave, it immediately put me in the perfect head space for this as soon as I walked in the door! I was very nervous on my way to the studio because it's such a vulnerable thing to do, however within 5 minutes of starting on my makeup I felt myself coming out of my shell and by the time we were done with the pictures I truly felt that I was amongst friends instead of strangers. My biggest take away from this was the way I view myself. It's hard to feel sexy when your a primary care giver that doesn't get to care for themselves, but this experience allowed me to see the sexy seductive side of myself that I so desperately needed to find. I had heard so many success stories but I was worried that mine wouldn't be one of those. However, boiling point does an excellent job at walking you through the time leading into your appointment to make you feel more confident before you even get in for your shoot. The conversations I had during my consultations were wonderful, I felt like I was being cheered on the whole way through by women who also had had their experience with boudoir shoots personally. During the day of I was no longer as nervous as I had been through the process, everyone I met going into my shoot had been super supportive and had the best kind of vibes. My favorite part of the day was being cheered on during the shoot by my photographer. She made me feel like I was a natural and like I was the sexiest person in the room. The shoot itself definitely gave me a bit of a confidence boost. I remember looking at myself before pictures were even taken, after my hair and makeup had been done and being in awe with myself. Then I saw my pictures and could not believe it was me on the screen. I would definitely do this again. The pictures I got out of the shoot were absolutely wonderful and the confidence I have is something you cannot put a price on. Sometimes we as women forget that we are sexy, and beautiful, and powerful and the shoot helped me remember those things. If you've thought about doing a boudoir shoot I would definitely recommend boiling point 10x over. As a beginning in the boudoir scene, they walked me through everything. The consultations helped me feel more confident beforehand with everyone cheering me on, and the day itself the vibes were perfect. I won a "free photoshoot" with boiling point boudoir. I had my consultation over the phone yesterday and was told I would be required to purchase 6 photos from the "free session" at $395 PER IMAGE. She then proceeded to tell me bc I am not a working mom that I have to run everything by my husband since that's how being a stay at home mom works. I told her that even if I was a working mom with tons of money I wouldn't pay $395 for a single photo. Absolutely insane. read more

I am a newly mom of one.Some time through out the day I miss being able to get all dolled up. Everyday I feeling beautiful but some days I want to feel desired. I came across the ad for the studio for a mermaid boudoir session and I thought it would be a wonderful experience. I have always admired mermaids and the beauty and desire they portray and folklore. I believe this was the great opportunity to turn me into one of those desirable creatures. so I can see that I was still desirable as well. I didn't really have many big fears coming into doing this session. I am very confident in myself and in the way I look. But I did hope they could hide some of my new mommy belly. also, I seen their work on the website and it showed they have good work side full confidence in the Studio In terms of making me into a mermaid. On the day leading up to the session or a little out of sorts due to Unforeseen events, my session had got Pushed forward so I had to be ready a lot faster than Most when booking. so I didn't get to experience the full consultation calls as I was imagining, but they did keep up with texting and communicating whenever a question would occur. Now, for the day of my overall session experience was wonderful except for one thing my hair I have textured hair and they assured me you make up artist Would be able to do my hair for the photos however, the images I showed her how I wanted my hair and how my hair came out was nowhere near My imagination. I had shoulder image of someone with a straight Hair and curls at the end, she just curled my hair Which is already fluffy did not straighten so my hair was fluffy and I look like a mushroom, She had packed up to leave before we even did the reveal to see if I liked it or if it needed to be touched up.however my makeup was immaculate and I was able to ignore the fact of my hair. so I know for next time to do my own hair or get it done somewhere else before. After that came the next part and becoming a mermaid to take the photos I was a fun experience. I had a good time. I didn't really know what to do with my face. What kind of facial expressions I should be making, but they did tell me how to position my body, and on occasion, she would tell me to smile. My favorite part would have been looking at my images and proving myself, I am as desirable as I feel. For me, I was never really nervous because I said before I'm very confident in myself I'm not afraid of the camera and I had all faith in the studio to do the job that it portrays on its site that it can do. When they were able to follow through. The biggest thing I got from the studio is not the new desire to wanting to do it again and possibly make a book or a small keepsake for my husband to take with him when he's on Deployment. It was fun to do so I would do it again and I can see how it can be a real confident boosters for some other people or just a reminder to other people how beautiful. I booked this boudoir shoot with the hopes of building my self confidence and to feel empowered. I have been fighting something over the last 10 years which really brought my view of my self to rock bottom. That "rock bottom" low began to lift once I started the process of scheduling my boudoir shoot with Boiling Point Boudoir! It started with 2 zoom consultations with Rebecca who I clicked with right off the bat. Siobel was able to work with me regarding dates and payment options. On the day of the shoot, Hailey did a fabulous job on my hair and makeup. Caroline and Heather did a phenomenal job on my photo shoot! They were so positive and had such good energy making me feel confident and comfortable the entire time. My favorite part was seeing the pictures Heather took. It was some of the best therapy I've had in the last 10 years! The consistent theme throughout my experience Boiling Point Boudoir was positivity and empowering women. I had done some research about boudoir shoots prior to my experience. One of the most important aspects is to find a studio where positivity and acceptance are mandatory. I can testify there wasn't a single moment throughout my entire experience where I was uncomfortable or felt ashamed or embarrassed. Nervous yes but that's expected. My only fear was the unkown but the studio sends supplemental info and they have plenty of info on website about what to expect. I typically do not feel feminine or want to tap into my feminine self. This experience helped me rediscover that side of myself and embrace my femininity. I actually realize it's a part of me that I've been suppressing. My biggest fear was the unknown and really stepping out of my comfort zone. It was a great experience, the ladies did an exceptional job of making me feel comfortable and at ease. They were generous with compliments and being their authentic selves. Which made the experience a lot more fun. Why I would do another session or encourage other women to do a session is because it's about empowering your own self. I was selected as a winner for a complimentary session with this studio in early August 2022 through social media. Communication between myself and the business associates were great. Although I only got as far as receiving a courtesy call re-explaining the whole process and that a retainer fee of $212 was required to secure my session appointment with the studio but would go towards the purchase of my photos. I agreed to the draft of the retainer fee in the middle of September, once processed, I subsequently booked my session for late December. Due to a family health emergency which calls for unexpected financial expenses plus the added inconvenience of location/hours of operation, I ultimately had to cancel and forfeit my winnings. I received an email early October requesting signage of the studio's contract which listed, in my opinion, unreasonable terms, policies, and agreements. Once I read it over which added more reasons to cancel. Now having said this, although they did convey their sympathies via email about my circumstances however, Katya Melvin and/or staff (Sibel) is refusing to refund my full deposit of $212 and lacked sincere genuine understanding in regards to a potential clients unforeseen circumstances. To top it off, in lieu of my full refund, they were waiving the cancellation fee. God forbid, if I'd been hospitalized or lost my life! read more

Hi my name is Kelly, I'm a wife, mother of two beautiful girls, dog mom and minister of the gospel. As women we tend to put everyone and everything before ourselves. I have suffered with chronic illnesses for the last 6 years that took a toll on me physically, spiritually and emotionally. As a result of my illnesses I was placed on steroids and gained a lot of weight. The weight gain and illnesses directly affected how I felt about myself. At times I didn't feel beautiful or sexy. Over the last year I have worked really hard to regain some of my power back and take control over the things I can control like what I eat, and moving my body more. The process was incredible from start to finish. I had great conversations with everyone from my first phone call to then end reviewing the photos. I felt like these ladies were friends of mine. I trusted their expertise and it allowed me to be open to trying posing and things I may not have otherwise tried. My favorite part was the dark set, by that point I felt super confident and comfortable and was really feeling myself and it showed in the photos. I felt super nervous before the session. It's a bit intimidating to do something like that on your own without people you know personally hyping you up, but that also became the best thing because I was free to be me without caring what others thought. It was an exhilarating experience. I got just a huge boost of confidence, I felt like I can conquer the world. This was a bucket list item for me and I'm so proud of all that I've accomplished. I think it's important to love ourselves at all stages of our lives, I'm sad that I waited this long to do this and think it's something I will definitely do again as I continue to grow and transition through womanhood. Hello. My session was last month - I have always wanted to have a nice, sensual photo shoot and Shay and Shauna were PHENOMENAL!! My makeup was done exactly like I wanted and the photo session was fun. I really LOVED my team and my pictures! Now, here are my thoughts on this whole situation: 1. The client should choose her own poses. If you notice, all photos and/or videos have the EXACT SAME 6 POSES! Based on this, the inner love goddess is actually that of the person who approves the poses, not the client. Allow the client to get a feel of herself, the music, the set and the camera, FIRST. If the photographer sees that she needs encouragement, THEN the set poses can come into play - as a suggestion to get her creative juices flowing. This way, she would have a TRUE expression of HER inner love goddess (as this is marketed). I was disappointed. 2. The set should be the client's choice instead of whoever decides the set for the month. I had the most EVIL-looking, dark and ugly set, with skeletons and skulls, headstones and spiderwebs, a huge skeleton chair and the most odd teal/green backdrop with a pumpkin, that you have ever seen in you're life! I was so very UNCOMFORTABLE! The chair and all that evil crap had to GO! Afterwards, I was better. My photographer was EXCELLENT in walking me through it all. (I just couldn't deal with the evilness related to the set.) Although I didn't like the set, I used my outfit to make it work. 3. This comes across as a scam. Why charge so much money (in the Limited Edition package) for ONLY 3 PICTURES that are chosen from over 150 or so? Why doesn't the client get to keep ALL of the pictures she posed for? (The Boudoir says they destroy them anyway, so why not let the client have them?) It won't hurt. The staff did all that work beforehand and on the day of the session, so it doesn't matter if the client keeps the pictures. This also looks like a scam because of the "contest". Why tell the woman she's "won", make her feel as if she's going to get a wonderful prize package, just to find out later that she has to pay for hair, makeup, the optional use of props and/or some shoes, only to end up with 3 pictures?! And if she wants to get more pictures or videos and sessions like what is seen on social media, she has to cough up twice, and sometimes three times, the amount of the package she originally "won". It feels a bit suspect. I noticed that my makeup reveal was never posted to social media as promised and promoted. Permission was given for "makeup reveal only", but nothing came to fruition. Again, I was disappointed. Other than that, my experience was fine, but I won't do this with Boiling Point Boudoir again. read more

I'm a full time mom of 2 wonderful kiddos, 2 dogs and a hubby(that's 5 total right lol). Over the last several years I had put on so much weight and really lost all my self confidence. I finally did something about it and had weight loss surgery. I had felt beautiful or sexy over the last 5 years and I decided I wanted to do something about it. I decided to do something for me to help me find that confidence and spark I had lost. My biggest fear was not liking the photos or finding that feeling of self confidence since I hadn't had my skin removal surgery yet. Oh boy was I wrong!! The several phones I had before my session definitely helped my nerves as I didn't feel like the staff were strangers by the time of my appointment. It really helped me settle in and made the session go smoother. Everyone the day of my session was hyping me up and made me feel more at ease which helped because your half naked(or partially depends on your comfort). I was so nervous when I got there but after hair and makeup I was ready to go. The photographer showed me one of the behind the camera images and I cried. I didn't know I could look or feel so beautiful after that I felt my confidence coming back. I'll definitely be doing another session hopefully this time after my skin removal surgery so I can have more amazing photos as I continue on my new journey with my new body. I entered a sweepstake, was told I won, and yet the sweepstake is still running. Interesting. I received many emails with multiple typos and insistance that they were a legit business. Interesting. Tried some digital research to see viable connections online. Not much clarity. Interesting. I still proceeded to schedule a consultation call. To which a person messaged me from a Suffolk phone number in the afternoon greeting me with "good evening." This did NOT sit well with me. Too many scams via text these days. I then tried to validate the efficacy of the person texting me and they advised they were working from NC. Umm. Ok? And you messaged good evening at 12:15 in the afternoon?? You're supposedly in the same timezone. Interesting. They confirmed I'd be providing my CC info over the phone or via a link provided after our consultation call. To which I said I was not ok with that but would gladly provide a direct payment to the business itself. I was told that was not possible. Interesting. So I kept the appointment and decided to Google the business. Which pulled up an address in Norfolk near a not so safe part of town. So I decided to check it out. Drove to the building and the owner happened to be there, so I chatted and told them how I wasn't sure I was talking to a viable booking agent connected with the business. The owner said I could talk to the assistant of BP and then let me in. I was guided to the studio and talked to the very friendly assistant. She seemed to understand and was very nice about reassuring me that any payment I made the next day would get to them. So I thanked them and left. Later that day I received a text accusing me of trespassing and that my call and entry were cancelled. So, can I speak to the efficacy of the business? Not really. But clearly it's an issue if they need to reiterate that point in the emails sent out. Can I speak to the questionable correspondence methods? Yes. It was very misleading and in my opinion unprofessional. This is probably why people don't think they're real. Do I think I was trespassing? No. Not when the literal owner of the building let me in. I am sorry to the very nice assistant if I surprised her. I did not know it wasn't permitted to speak directly to them. I am a firm believer in face value. Do I think I dodged a bullet? Yes. I always wanted to do a boudoir but never wanted to spend that kind of money on myself let alone felt pretty enough to do one. Working and being a mom is a full time job so getting beautiful is a rare occasion. Going into my session was scary because I don't view myself as model worthy. I kept questioning whether or not I should do it up until my 6 hr drive. However; the kind voices on the other end of the phone and the friendly faces the moment I walked into the door made the experience so highly worth it. My name is Christin, and I am 27 years old. At the time of the photoshoot, I was 26. I just moved back to Virginia in April from being stationed in Japan for four years. I am active-duty military and have been in for almost seven years now. Being in the military that is mainly male dominate and having to do hard physical labor can make a woman not feel beautiful. You're constantly covered in some sort of oil or grease and being on long deployments, you stop caring how you look and just aim to be comfortable to get through the day-to-day grind. It is very rare to feel "sexy" in that type of environment. The only times where I've felt sexy, beautiful, or even confident was being out at foreign ports with friends, finally being able to wear normal clothes and have the strength to wear make-up. The main reason I wanted, or needed, to do a boudoir session was because I feel like I'm getting older. Yes, 27 is still very young but I don't feel young. I haven't been finding myself attractive recently. People tell me I'm beautiful, I'm gorgeous. But with my own eyes, I don't see it. I wanted to get another perspective and see myself how others do. Some of the biggest fears I had going into this was it wouldn't change anything, that I'd still not find myself attractive, that I would still focus on my flaws. The day of the shoot, I wasn't feeling my best. I was in sort of a ruck. At no point leading up did I ever think of canceling until the day of. I am very glad that I didn't. In the beginning, the first phone call I didn't know what to expect. But they were very helpful. Walked me through what my favorite parts were and what my issue areas were. Talked me through what types of outfits would work, what would be flattering, and what to avoid. All consultations went very smooth and talked me through upgrades if I wanted them, wall arts, portfolios, and other add-ons. The day of the session, getting make-up done was something I wasn't used to. I'm not a make-up type of person, maybe a little mascara and ChapStick but that was it. Doing full face make-up was amazing, never thought how I would look with it and now I want to do it every day. During the reveal, I wanted to cry a bit. It was eye opening. My favorite part of the whole experience was seeing the results. It shows even someone who feels gross can look beautiful. I'm a very quiet, in the background type of person so having a day just for me made me a bit nervous. After a bit, I was able to relax and have fun with it. The fact that everyone there was very friendly and made jokes helped me be at ease. The laugh that they do to help you get your natural smile out really helped. Hello! I am Andrea a military wife and dog mom. On a daily basis, I feel pretty average and forgettable. I booked a session because I needed to work on confidence and see what my husband sees in me. Before my session, I feared all of the other girls experiences wouldnt be like mine and i wouldnt feel confident, sexy, or beautiful. I can't even give this business a one star but that was the minimum I was allowed. I highly don't recommend working with this company. They over charge you for what you get. Be prepared to spend thousands of dollars even if you "win a session". I personally had it done and I would never do it again. Katya is also very self centered and wants to show off to people and think who she is. She is not someone I would trust nor work with ever again. Hello, my name is Desiree. I am a stay at home mom. I have always struggled with self confidence so I very rarely feel beautiful and sexy.
