Coming home from working late, I knew I wouldn't have time to fix anything for dinner. Called the house and they asked for Bojangles. Get to the Grovetown location and order a family meal. To make sure it's fresh, the lady asks me to park in the handicap space. While waiting I'm watching one employee keep all his attention on his phone with another wiping down 2 tables, sitting and resting his head for a while, and then repeating the process. After 30 minutes I back up to the window concerned they'd forgotten about my order. I like fresh fast food but not the kind that takes that long. Fears confirmed, she'd forgotten about it. She says that she's going to get that order together right now. I pull forward beside the door in anticipation. Ten minutes go by and she appears at the door but there is no food. She warns me that I'm about to be mad with her and that the tray of hand-crafted, artisanal chicken that has taken this long to prepare was promptly dumped on the floor by one of her employees. The rest was difficult to make out due to mumbling but she went back inside and I believe I heard something about a refund. I'll probably check with the bank tomorrow to see if that happened, not that I don't trust her. In summary, the current worker shortage has hit this place HARD. I'll be avoiding it for a while. Stick with Chick-fil-A until the Popeyes opens. read more

I guess the third time is not always the charm! On three separate occasions I've come to this Bojangles requesting their sweet potato pies. One time they told me when I got to the window, however the other two times, they let me know it'd be a 10 min wait at the drive-thru speaker. I usually passed but today my craving won and I was prepared for the wait. I pull up and place my order. Miraculously they actually have ONE! This craving called for two today so I place my order and was prepared for the wait...that was more than 10 mins BTW & no, they're weren't busy. The food is really good but your prices are high! Service is pretty fast and food is fresh.So far I have never had a bad experience with a cashier they are verry friendly and welcome all guest. Have not seen any horseplay in the kitchen when i'm there unlike Mc Donalds down the street so look for that review coming soon. Welcome to the El Pollo Loco of the South, but for 1/3 more the price and half the sides. It's hard to drive down the freeway and not see a Bojangles sign. There are about as many as McDonalds off freeway exits, that should tell you something. This location is brand new, and somehow they have a 91 sanitation grade. It's new, wouldn't you start with 100? Yikes. When ordering the food I was turned off by the fact that the employee shouts each line over the loud speaker to the back. There must be a better way? The chicken is a bit pricey but isn't super fatty and has a bit if a Cajun kick. The best price seemed to be the $20 tailgate box with 8pcs, two sides and lemonade. It was enough for four people. After the first bite it made me yell "Jigga jigga call that girl bojangles." The chicken is good but the sides aren't anything to brag about. Since my last review several months ago, I decided to give this location another chance. Now, I am regretting doing it. I ordered two meals and two bo berry biscuits. I had to to wait for my bo berry biscuits but I did not have a problem with that because I expected to get fresh ones. When I got home I ate my meal and it was okay. The food was hot and I enjoyed it. When I finished my meal, I expected to open a box of fresh bo berry biscuits but what I got was a bag of icing. I could not believe it at all. I was so upset that I had to drive all the way back to this location to get my food. When I got there the worker said that they would bring the bo berry biscuits right out. I make it back home and when I opened the box those where the oldest, coldest bo berry biscuits I have ever had. If you make a mistake like this I should have received HOT, FRESH bo berry biscuits like I was promised the first time. This location is notorious for providing low quality food and service. Very poor service at this location. Multiple times the food was cold or my order was just plain wrong.

Terrible service. This was definitely not the first time after placing and paying for an order in a drive thru that I've been asked to pull up and wait just a bit for my food. But normally that would mean a new batch of chicken or fries had to be dropped and I'd be on my way momentarily. But after wasting over 20 minutes waiting for what I thought would be fresh food I go in to find my order had been completely forgotten/ignored as they appeared to be more focused on a larger pickup order. If they had said "hey sir we have a larger order we are working on, you'd be looking at a 30 minute wait that would have been totally understandable and I would have gone down the road to get food elsewhere. They don't make eye contact or even talk to you like you're a person. Went through drive through and waited 15 minutes to get incomplete order - they were missing my mashed potatoes and gravy and my fries and sandwich were completely cold. Went back and waited at least another 15 minutes to get those items replaced, I checked bag, get home, and there's no gravy. I gave them my receipt and everything. Can they not read?! Terrible location!! I went through the drive thru and ordered the family feast. It comes with 12 supremes, 8 pc chicken, 3 sides and a sweet tea. So I wait 15 minutes for chicken to be done. They bring it out, I get it home 20 minutes later through 5 o clock traffic just to see that the 8 pieces of chicken aren't in the box along with the fries. So I call up there and let them know that it was missing and that I'm coming back. I get there and wait another 15 minutes for chicken, even though they knew I was heading back. What do they offer for the inconvenience? A $1 bo berry biscuit! As I was standing there waiting a man walked in and ordered a family meal as well with side of Mac and cheese, what do they give him? I visited this Bojangles tonight at around 730 pm, the tables were dirty. The employees were sitting around, two of them were high school students doing their homework in one of the booths. The employees were laughing and talking aloud, more like they were at a party or hanging out with their friends verses working. The restaurant was out of everything, no unsweet tea, 15 minute wait for mac&cheese, 5 mins for chicken, and again the employees didn't seemed to worried about. I saw only two employees doing anything and neither one of them was the manager. I won't go to this Bojangles again.. its straight up getto. read more

I've never waited so long for "fast food". Ordered it at 635... I was told it would be 13 minutes because they ran out of dark meat. Ran an errand and returned at 649. I was told it would be 7 minutes. Then the " manager" told me 2 minutes later it would be 7 minutes. Its 701 busted handed my food. Two regular meals. SMH read more

This Bojangles continues to get worse. The management must have changed and the workers seem to change frequently as well. The food is often not hot, like the fries or no rounds and the service seems to get slower and slower. They have an 83 grade which used to be 99. read more

Ok since ive been here ive been to this Bojangles more than a few times being so i love hardees and there is none within a 10 mile radius.So what i usally get here is the Cheddar Bo which is a hit and a miss mostly a miss.They tend to not be fresh and cheddar gets cold and hard ridges and then the other half of the time the biscuits are still kinda doughy but if youre lucky you will catch it at the right time and youll get a beautifull buttered brown crispy bun with fresh melted cheddar cheese.Their steak biscuits are ok really doesnt have any taste i usually add seasoning salt when i get home as well as a slice of cheese the same with their chicken biscuit but it has a tiny spice to it. Havent tried their chicken but i will next time i go.The workers are usually polite no problems on that side but the food (Breakfast) leaves much to be desired its ok if you just want something to shut your stomach up! read more
