The place was listed for more than we were comfortable with paying. Susan did some research and contacted the owner. Using comparisons she was able to convince the owner to drop the price by almost $10,000.00. Once the price was adjusted we made an offer and it was accepted. Once it was accepted she was able to recommend the contractor who we ended up hiring to renovate our apartment he did a great job and was very reasonable. She was also able to get us a fairly substantial rebate from a government program for military families that we had no knowledge of. Susan was reliable, honest, well informed, and with us every step of the way on our purchase. I highly recommend Susan, she worked hard for us and I trust her implicitly.

Had she taken the time to talk to me, she would have known that I had above a 700 credit score and a job in town, so that would not have been an issue. He wanted to take pictures even though I have 40 professionally taken photos on line. I could tell by his remarks that he had not read the listing and told me his broker James Angelo told him to come see my house and look for deferred maintenance. MY HOUSE IS PRICED ABOVE COMPS BECAUSE THERE IS NO WORK NEEDED!! I also specified NO VA OR FHA in my listing and he said "This would make a good VA/FHA." When I asked where the cash buyer lived, he said "It's in my broker's network." He asked to come present the offer on Thursday and I told him to bring proof of funds AS SPELLED OUT IN MY LISTING. HE BROUGHT HIS iPAD AND SHOWED ME AN OFFER FROM OPEN DOOR FOR $345K! MY HOUSE IS LISTED FOR $449K. What a scam artist! I smelled something fishy and deeply regret wasting my time with him. HIS BEHAVIOR THE REASON WHY PEOPLE DISLIKE REALTORS!
