Service was friendly and efficient and although they do have a guy on the road trying to get customers in, they are not aggressive like others! The menu was pretty extensive with a great choice and any dish chosen could be cooked to your liking in terms of 'hotness'. We had lamb jalfrezi and prawn/fish curry served with plain boiled basmati rice! Both tasted wonderful aromatic and spicy. The only gripe we had was that the portions served were rather on the small side! Nice atmosphere and you can sit as long as you wish sipping your vino or drink of choice while you watch the world go by on the fairly busy street, without being rushed!

The only thing we could fault it for was the kids dessert, there wasn't much choice, not even ice cream (But I don't think they get many kids in an Indians) we were very well looked after and the little one even got a lollypop. If your passing give it a try you won't be dissapointed.

Our naan was authentic, the children were so happy with their tandoori chicken and steamed basmati rice, and I loved my vegetable rice biryani which was loaded with whole spices and veggies. We shared a side order of saag paneer which was also very fresh and flavorful. A note the the more adventurous- their standard level is super mild so you will have to ask for a higher level of spice and heat if you like it that way. We'll be back!

The waiters were all really friendly and the place has free WIFI which was a huge bonus in Lanzarote where most hotels seem to be lagging behind in the WIFI offering! We got some drinks to start which came fast enough, although we did wait a while for our food order. I went for the Vegetable Club Sandwich which was pretty tasty - layers of toast, egg and salad with a lovely big salad on the side (salad stuff always tastes better on holiday and I opted for this over the standard chip offering). My dining partners (ie my folks on this occassion) went for chicken kebabs with chips, coleslaw and salad. The chicken was tender and really tasty and they both struggled to finish the hearty portion. As with most places in Puerto del Carmen the food was really great value and at under 35 euro for three people with drinks it was a bit of a bargain. A great place to people watch and very atmospheric - definitely a good call if you're on holiday in the area. The next night we visiting El Patio Mexican and the decor and menus were very similar in style, and I suspect they're owned by the same people.

The food was delicious, I had the BBQ ribs which were perfectly cooked. No one else in the group had any complaints about the meal. However the service as well below average. After we ordered our food, the server never returned to check on us and it took us a while to get their attention when ordering drink re fills or even to get the bill! The atmosphere wasn't what we'd expect either as if seems like it should be a fun place to eat with music and good service but it didn't live up to that.
