I had shopped around quite a bit and her prices were really fair for what we were asking. There are definitely other photographers out there with lower quality work that are charging a lot more. So far we have done 3 and 6 month pictures and they are great. During our first session my son was really fussy since he was teething and hadn't had much of a nap that day. I thought for sure we wouldn't get many good pictures because he was in such a bad mood, but Emily was able to catch him smiling, and we got a lot of really cute pictures! When it was time for our 6 month pictures we had scheduled a time to meet at our home for the shoot. Again my son was having a hard time getting a good nap in, I called Emily and asked if it was possible push back 30 minutes in the hopes that we could get at least a few minutes of sleep in so he wouldn't cry during our whole session. She was really flexible and told us to just call whenever he woke up. He was able to get a good solid nap in and we really appreciated the flexibility that day. And again the pictures were amazing. She has really been able to capture his personality and us as a family together. I would recommend Emily to anyone looking for a photographer in the StL area. She has done a great job capturing our son's first year so far, and I can't wait for our next 2 sessions. We wouldn't hesitate to book more sessions with her in the future!

Andrea suggested poses and would offer advice throughout the shoot without making me feel like I was doing something totally off. She provided me answers to my more basic questions like: What do you usually get to in your 8hr/9hr/and 10hr packages? Cost of packages? Shooting locations? She also went above and beyond at giving me a sense of more in-depth aspects of her work; she was able to send me a post of work she had done at both our wedding venue and our reception venue. Finally, when I requested some time to prioritize nailing down my venue before photographer and asked her to follow up in late January, she was one of three photographers out of 15 who actually did follow up! She has an attention to detail admirable in a photographer. We did not book Erica because we decided to go with a photographer with a slightly different editing style, but I would have no qualms encouraging friends to book with Erica. No wonder she's been in business since 2006!
